5th elder then recollected he had received some gifts early that week from Mo Ai. He thought she was trying to curry their favour in case she would marry his nephew. Who would have thought that these ones were already married.

"You already got married? How did we not know of it? Why wasnt there a ceremony?" He looked over to 1st elder to say something.

"This...I already knew."

"Brother..." 5th elder whined. "Am I the only one left in the dark?"

It was rare for 5th elder to adress 1st elder as brother. He only said that whenever he needed support or something important from 1st elder.

"Its only common sense." 1st elder countered.

Xiao Ai jumped into the talk. "Its my fault. I should have come to visit personally." She looked down at her hands and spoke in a sullen voice. "I have been so busy with work but I shouldn't have taken this matter lightly. I am sorry. I will do better next time."

1st elder who was starting to like Xiao Ai helped her. "Little girl, its fine. 5th elder is quite old fashioned so he does not know how the youths work these days. Right brother..?"

Gu Bojings father who had just been thrown into the picture had no choice but to agree. Although he was closer to 5th elder than 1st elder.

They soon forgot the matter because grandfather Mo kept them busy with stories from his young days.

The room was filled with so much laughter, that they didn't notice Chairwoman Mo, Hannah, and 4th madam Gu enter.

"What is so interesting that caused this laughter?" It was 4th madam Gu who asked.

"You are here. We were just listening to some stories about little Ai here from her grandfather."

4th Madam Gu settled in a chair at the extreme end and stared at Mo Ai at the other end. "From her grandfather?" She nodded in greeting to grandfather Mo. "Why aren't we hearing this from her father? He's coming tonight isn't he?"

Xiao Ai turned stiff under the table and Gu Bojing immediately patted her hands.

"Of course. Her father should be here soon." Chairwoman Mo cleared the air.

Xiao Ai was surprised and looked over gratefully to her mom.

4th Madam Gu scoffed and beckoned to Hannah to sit with her. "Hannah dear, come here and sit with me. Let me tell you about my first son. Gu BoTing."

Hannah awkwardly sat with 4th madam as she cursed the old lady in her mind. She didnt get to sit next to Mo Ai.

How was she supposed to scold her?

"Your first son, could it be Little Fool?" Xiao Ai aksed although she ready knew the answer. She picked a snack from the table and sat back in her chair.

1st elder and 5th elder were surprised.

"Do you know Little Fool?" They both asked.

Xiao Ai confidently replied. "How can I not. I schooled in Russia ever since high school graduation. I can say no one knows him better than I do."

4th madam Gus expression wasnt quite pleasant. No one knew him better than she did?

"Little Fool and I became friends during a fight in school. I beat him up pretty badly so he kept coming to school to find me. I must say he was very eager to learn." Although she had twisted the truth, Little Fool wasnt here to defend himself.

4th Madam Gu pickd her phone to call her son when her other sons Bolin along with his secretary and Little Guy walked in. Followed by Xiao Ais father Mr Zhao, Madam Dong and Baozhai.
