Xiao Ai didn't bother looking back before rolling her eyes. She released Jennys hand and turned to glare at Lifen.

"Am very capable so the hospital needs me more." she boasted.

"Yeah so capable yet Psychology keeps making the lowest income per year. Even the cafeteria makes more than you."

Xiao Ai snorted. "After the years end review, we will see if you will be this smug later."

Lifen flung her hand in the air saying 'whatever'

"Great quack, you have made the headlines again. I didn't know you would expose your relationship with Gu Bojing so fast."

Jenny and Si Meng stared at Xiao Ai, both surprised and asked.

"You are in a relationship with Emperor Gu?"

Xiao Ai stared at the two feeling pity for them who told them to crush on her?

"En. We are married. Jenny dear, I thought you knew. Sorry sister didn't tell you. How about you come with me tonight to the Gu house am meeting my in laws and am a bit nervous. "

Jenny was silent for a while before cracking a bitter smile. "Yes sis. I will use the restroom." Then she left.

Si Meng also made the excuse of using the restroom and left.

Xiao Ai placed a hand on her head. "I don't know how those two came to crush on me. I swear I didn't use any beauty scheme on them at least never Jenny."

Lifen looked confused for a while as her mind flashed to some things.

"Why would I marry Yusheng of all people? Ahh..the rent would be due soon. Don't forget to send over your own money. Just because you moved out doesn't mean you can avoid the rent."

Xiao Ai twitched her lips and brought out the black card she got from Gu Bojing. She waved it in her greedy eyes." that Little thing can be settled by this."

Just as Lifen was about to speak, a resident ran towards Xiao Ai.

"Psychologist Mo, Profesor Ku needs you to start working. He is already furious. "

Xiao Ai quickly dumped Lifen and walked back to the office.

Lifen didn't have the time to roast Xiao Ai as she too had her own problems to think of.

Just few days ago, she went to Yushengs house and met Xu Ning there. From the look of things it seemed that Xu Ning had been living there for a while. Lifen didn't know why she somehow felt disappointed. Yusheng never had girls around him except for Xiao Ai and her. So seeing another girl in his house made her feel a bit uncomfortable. She had intended to stay for the night and get beer drunk, then have Yusheng drive her back but she had in fact forced herself to finish a can of beer which was unusual. She felt bitter from within and didn't like that Xu Ning was getting close with Yusheng.

Lifen sighed and tried to control her emotions. She was a Psychiatrist but she couldn't tell what was wrong with her. As she was about to turn around and get an appointment with Xiao Ai as a patient, a smooth palm landed on her shoulder. Since she had been spacing out for a while, she was a bit frightened so her first reaction was to attack, but the other person ducked her punch and instead held her hands and wrapped another around her waist.

"What have you been thinking? I called you for a while. Lifen what's wrong? why is your face so red?" Yushengs concerned voice rang through her ears and she became even more flustered.

Lifen quickly released herself from his hold and smacked his shoulders.

"I have a little headache. Do you need something? I need to go back am quite busy." she impatiently added.

Yusheng studied her expression for sometime. He had known her for a while now and this was the first time he felt she was behaving abnormal.

"Lifen, have you been avoiding me?"

Lifen fisted her hands for a while before slowly releasing them, her actions were all seen by Yusheng which confirmed that she had indeed been avoiding him.

"Why do you ask?" she questioned her gaze flickering from him to the surroundings the doctors passing by were giving them a weird look and it made Lifen uncomfortable.

She had no idea that were staring at them because it was the first time she was seen looking serious and not hitting Yusheng.
