The cheers and claps slowly turned from enthusiastic to awkward, but Levi still refused to let go. He had yearned for his baby day and night for so long. Now that he had finally gotten a taste of heaven, it was especially difficult to put a stop to it. This mouthful of honey was still far from enough to satiate him! How would he be willing to let go?

Unable to bear the sight of this any longer, one very disgruntled city lord of Concordia loudly coughed to interrupt.

And was unceremoniously ignored.

A vein bulged in Cordia daddy’s neck, and he coughed even louder, fully imbuing all his frustration into that violent cough. ‘Shameless scoundrel!! How long do you intend to suck my son’s face?! (ꐦ °Д°) What are you trying to do here?!? Eat him up whole in front of everyone?! You think it’s all fine as long as you are only showing them your back?! As if they can’t tell what’s happening!!!’

Finally, he received a response this time – he got pierced by his daughter’s reproachful glare and then shushed.

Cordia daddy, “…” QAQ ‘Why are you glaring at ME?! It’s that Astar boy that has no shame!! What did I do wrong?!’

Maery, (ꐦ °Д°) ‘What did you do wrong?! Do you know how rare this sweet treat is?! And yet you want to interrupt my sugar?! Get out!’

In contrast to Cordia daddy’s wide eyes and flaring nostrils, Astar daddy stared at the two newlyweds with squinted eyes. He gauged what was happening in front of him for a moment, but although they who were standing in front of the two could see it much better than the crowd in the back, it was still difficult to see any details due to the angle and Levi blocking their line of sight with his arm. Alas, a moment later, Astar daddy nodded his head in silent approval. Good, good. It looked like his son had studied well.

…Luckily, Astar daddy was a man of few words; otherwise, his observations might have caused Cordia daddy to faint from anger.

In the end, Levi finally showed mercy and released Noah's now red and delectably puffy mouth. After all, he couldn't let all these people see his baby looking so vulnerable and mouthwatering! This was something only for his, Levi’s, eyes!

His protectiveness and possessiveness would always trump his carnal desires.

Also, his baby’s soothing was starting to waver, and if it flickered out, Levi would be in trouble. His body was always especially reactive when it came to his baby, not listening to reason or his wishes. And he really didn’t want to get a big fat boner in front of the crowd.

He, Levi, was not a hypocrite, ah! Naturally, his big fat boner was only for his baby’s eyes! (／≧ω＼)

With a strange mix of reluctance and determination, Levi moved his head back. As his mouth left his baby’s succulent lips, a thin silvery string of saliva spread between the two.

Noah raised his glassy red-rimmed eyes to look up at his newlywed husband.

This picture of a flushed and completely dazed beauty in front of Levi’s eyes was devastating. Levi’s breath hitched in his throat, and without a second thought, he pressed Noah’s head into his chest to hide him from view.

Levi took a deep breath to gather his strength of will and then set off marching towards the closest private room in the venue.

Noah clutched at Levi's shirt like a little animal hanging from a tree trunk, refusing to lift his burning face the entire way. His shallow breaths swallowed several mouthfuls of Levi’s cologne before enough oxygen managed to return to his head to once again form coherent thoughts.

But even these seemingly coherent thoughts were all over the place. Such as the first thought that came to his mind – Ah, ah! This rogue had coquettishly asked him to take responsibility like a pitiful little wife; however, his possessive actions domineeringly declared, “Not accepting no for an answer! Never letting go! You are mine now!”

So shameless!!! (⁄ ⁄> ︿

But-but so cute, ah! (／≧ω＼) ♡

And the second thought was even more random. Noah remembered how Levi had hidden him from view earlier with his body. Then he recalled the promise the other had made to pacify him two days ago: “Next time I kiss, I’ll make sure others can’t see.”

‘So he didn’t just say that to coax me!’ Noah’s eyes reddened even more, feeling moved that the other still remembered that seemingly inconsequential promise.

And then his mind flew away again on another tangent.

‘What kind of a love confession was that?!’

Blackie couldn’t help but nod his virtual head, ‘Right, right? Stupid as fuck!’

Noah, ‘Especially that inscription!’ ＞︿＜

‘Tell me about it! “I really can’t?” Seriously?? Of all the choices like “I love you”, “Aris ♥ Levi”, “yours forever”, “can’t live without you”, and the like, that’s what he had engraved?!’ Ecstatic that his host and him could finally agree on something, Blackie nearly blurted out all his complaints then and there.

Noah’s lips pressed into a pout, ‘Caused me to misunderstand! My heart nearly cracked from that misleading love confession! Ah, ah! I still haven’t fully recovered from that near-heartbreak!’

Blackie’s internal tirade abruptly halted, ‘… … …. … we are not on the same page, are we?’

Noah, ‘Bah, who includes a plot twist in a love confession?! (⁄ ⁄> ﹏

Blackie, (눈_눈) ‘…. …. …You feel touched by it, don’t you?’

Noah burrowed his crimson cheeks deeper into Levi’s sturdy chest. This newlywed husband of his was so lovely!!! ♥♥♥♥

Blackie, (눈_눈) ‘…Figures. Soulmates through and through.’ Blackie suddenly felt really glad he kept his responses to himself!

Before Blackie could have some time to himself to mourn his own future, his annoying host went off on another tangent…

This husband of his… actually liked him back! (/≧▽≦)/ Happy~♥ So happy!!!

Amongst the blissful glee, something abruptly clicked in Noah’s head, and all the things that didn’t quite make sense before suddenly came to mind.

No wonder he had thought that Levi's acting was too much! It turned out that the other wasn't acting at all!!

No wonder Levi refused to marry anyone but him! How would he be willing to marry someone other than his sweetheart?!

No wonder Levi nearly had a mental breakdown when Noah had a close brush with death!

And that premarital agreement! Since his sis wasn't in a real relationship with Levi, why would there be so many corny things added into the contract? Levi must have added them in specifically for their marriage!!

The more Noah recalled, the more he wanted to dig his head into the sand out of shame. Ah, ah!! How could he have been so fricking blind?! How could he have mistaken this blatant pursuit as pampering of a little brother?!?

This husband of his kept following him around like a little tail! Kept staring at him all the time! Kept petting his head! And kept glaring at everyone who attempted to interrupt this world of two! How could he have missed something so obvious?!?

As bits and pieces of the last week fell into place inside Noah’s mind to form a complete picture, Noah’s initial glee and embarrassment slowly morphed into outrage.

No wonder Levi’s lower half kept raising its head! Which hot-blooded man wouldn't have a reaction down there when his crush was practically rubbing his ass on his crotch?!?

No wonder he thought Levi was especially sticky and liked to act intimate with him! Fricking hell! The other had been lowkey taking liberties with him all this time! (ノ꒪Д꒪)ノ︵ ┻━┻
