While Others Cultivate, I Use My Unique RPG Leveling System to Cultivate Smut Romance With Their Girlfriends! Chapter 610

The commotion inside this administrative centre of the town wasn't as great. Even though my results seemed to be earth-shattering according to the female guide expression, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that in this place, one could have absolutely no cultivation at all and hold the pinnacle of the world in his grasp in terms of fighting prowess and that would still come unnoticed by the majority of the people here.
"Sir, I will apologise in advance, but I'm obliged to report the results of the tests to my higher-ups. In fact, I'm not even sure which token I should give you now…"
Clearly troubled by the current situation, the young girl was stepping in place while looking at me with an uneasy gaze. Unsure as to how I was supposed to react, I took a glance at Eve beside me…
Only to notice that she was actually moving her eyes between me and the guide, with clear signs of thinking about something indecent!
"Eve… No. Just no."
Surprised by my reaction, Eve stared at me as if she suspected that I was actually an impostor, only pretending to be the Bart she knew. But I couldn't really judge her for that.
After all, I was the one who introduced her to the wonders of group sex, and I was the one who developed her sexual drive. Right now, I only had myself to blame for how my own actions and the consequences of those that were slowly appearing right now.
"Okay, okay. That was to be just a joke, you know?"
Reacting to my words with just a light, cheerful giggle, Eve quickly approached me before taking over my entire arm and pushed her breasts against my shoulder.
"Miss guide, we were told that we would be required to prove our strength with… our special means. As such, the failure of the testing grounds left me… In quite an anxious state. Would you be as kind as to point out the general direction where we could find a place to… have some rest?"

Noticing that I wasn't ready to deal with the anxiety of the guide, Eve proved that she was capable of being the one wearing the pants in our relationship - even if only occasionally - quickly pushing the topic of the discussion away from the matters that would prove to be problematic.
"Yeah, sure. Once you exit the tower, all you need to do is to follow the main road and watch the signs. Anything marked with bed on it will have lodging in its offer."
Nodding her head with gratitude, the girl quickly explained. But as her hands moved towards the doors in the clear intent of guiding her guests away, her expression quickly turned awry as if she recalled something bothersome.
"I'm sorry, but given how your test was stopped midway, I will need you to participate in it again tomorrow. I hope it won't inconvenience you too much!"
Lowering her head and actually bowing deeply, the guide awaited our response like a criminal awaiting the lethal hit of his executioner. Yet, I wasn't willing to punish her all that much. In fact, if not for the fact that I lacked any form of money that was in circumvention in this area, I wouldn't mind this problem at all.
"Problematic? If it was a matter of a few minutes, even up to two… no, three hours, I could agree to it… But we simply lack the coinage to afford the stay in this city. While I could obtain some by using my crafting abilities, given how this situation isn't our fault, shouldn't the city reimburse all the costs that we will have to take because of the city tower fault?"
Form this point on, everything happened rather quickly. After once again bowing to us and apologising for the inconvenience, the girl lead us back to the main floor of the tower. After offering us some seats and quickly disappearing into the depths of the building, we didn't even have the time to enjoy the snacks that were served to all the guests before this guide of ours managed to return.

"Here, this is your city hall token. All your current data and position are registered on it, with a limit of ten high coins for you to spend. This is the recompensation that my superior agreed to offer to you for all the troubles, and it should be way more than enough to keep you in the city through the night."
Placing something that looked like an ordinary piece of metal shaped in form of a perfect cube, with intricately marked numbers on it. Given how I never really paid any attention to learning the craft of writing of this world, I should be unable to understand anything that was written on it… If not for the fact that those were the Arabic numbers I was perfectly familiar with, with some phrases written in damned English!
"Is this…"
Noticing my hesitation or rather expecting it in the first place, the female guide only smiled at me before explaining.
"Given how many people in this place come from the earth, it was only a matter of time before languages from the old world would be used. Right now, the city hall offers a quick curse in Spanish, English, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi and so on. If you are looking for a challenge, we can even teach you Polish!"
The guide's answer managed to freeze me. While I was perfectly aware of the fact that I wasn't anywhere special in this world with my earthy heritage, right now I noticed that I have yet to bring Eve up to speed about how her own world was infested with crowds upon crowds of people with systems!
"Thanks, but I'm not interested. Either way, thanks for the help."
With my mood turning awful, I quickly picked up Eve's hand and pulled her out from the tower to the streets. My steps, fueled by my anger at myself, quickly brought us away from the tower.
"What's wrong?"
Surprised with my behaviour and curious about its reason, Eve tried to dig up her answers. Sadly, I wasn't willing to tell about such fundamental things right out in the open. After all, while some parts of what I would have to tell her to properly explain the situation were common knowledge in this city, some of the other parts that I learned with great effort would easily turn this entire place upside down.
Thinking about all those moments when I discovered new knowledge, I couldn't help but recall an important promise I made to the thing that started my drive for learning about this world. And given the place where I currently was, there was no better location to look for a way to fulfil my word!
"Not here, not now. We will speak once we…"
Stopping my attempt at pushing the matter for later, I suddenly pulled on Eve's hand, forcing her to stop in her tracks as well. Looking around, I quickly located the source of the sound that made me so alerted.
"Do you remember how I claimed that I could earn us some money with my crafting abilities?"
Back in the tower, I said it only to keep my story cohesive. But now, when I saw an operating smithy, I was actually quite curious whether my existing abilities were still up the par!
"How about we check whether I was right back then?"

Outlook: The Stars (Consciousness Unbound Book 1)
The year is 2152. Rune Yahui is a nineteen-year-old failure, not having gained entrance to college or the military, with no significant prospects in life. Even worse, Rune is the poorest of the poor, hailing from the mega-slums of New Southern Chicago, the lowest pit of America. In a desperate last-ditch attempt to gain a future more lustrous than toiling the rest of his days away in abhorrent conditions in one of the near sweat-shop level factories that dot the megapolis, Rune signs up for the Virtual Citizen program, a program to cull the excessive world population by transferring just their brains into a video game. In a stroke of rare luck, Rune is admitted into the program and happily submits himself to the surgery and digitization process. Unfortunately for him, he wakes up several hundred years later than he expected... or does he? **Author's Note** This isn't a type of story typical to RRL. You may have noticed LitRPG in the tags, but it's a relatively minor element in the story until later. You may also notice Slice of Life is in the tags. This story is going to be slow and there won't be any power tripping until way later if at all. The focus will be on character development. That doesn't mean I won't still have action/excitement, however. I encourage you to give the story a try. Maybe it will be your thing, maybe it won't. Thanks for even taking the time to read this, and if you do give my fiction a try, I hope you enjoy it. If you don't, well, I hope you find something that you do enjoy. Happy reading!
