"What the hell is going on?"

As soon as I raised myself to peek out from behind the altar, the princess beneath me asked her question once again. From the slight trembling of her body transmitted to me through my legs that were still tightly pressed against her, I could tell that her brave face was nothing but a fake front she put in order to cope with this insane situation.

"Just stay silent and don't move an inch from here. I can't tell whether everything is over already."

With the disappearance of the energy supplying the charm of the tower, my predator's mindset was slowly taking its rightful place as the sole controller of my mind, making the feminine charms of the naked girl below nothing more than a useless distraction.

"Who do you think to are to order me around!"

As I was standing up, I made sure to smack her in the face with my still hard road in order to answer her inquiry. If she couldn't realise her standing from the simple fact that I saved her fucking life, a dickslap was all she would get from me!

With my back hurting as if someone tore parts of my flesh away - which in fact happened just a moment ago - I somehow managed to straighten myself up and set my feet forward. I had no idea what kinds of defensive and regenerative mechanisms this place had, so I had to make the most of the time I bought with this catastrophe!

Step by step, I had to manoeuvre between the rubble lying on top of the once beautiful floor. Maybe thanks to me blocking the flow of the energy, or maybe it was just the collateral damage, but the carvings that once decorated this level were now all ruptured as if someone filled them with water before freezing the entire place. 

After reaching the edge of what used to be the staircase that I used to enter this floor, my back was already healed thanks to all the mana that came rushing to this place as soon as the energy net collapsed and allowed the inner dome to regain its connection to the rest of the dimension. 

But as if this world didn't want to make things easy for me, to access the grand hall where all the staircases were, I had to hop over a huge hole that would otherwise send me to the bottom of the down layer, barely three hundred meters down!

While this sort of jump would be something I wouldn't normally ever mention, with how my back was hurting right now, not to speak about most of my body resources being directed to heal my wounds, riding on the shockwaves was impossible for now.

Since I had no idea whether the hole in the building would repair itself under the influence of the endless stream of mana that was already surging this way and regenerating the stone as if it was some kind of plant, I had no other way but to hurry up. Put against the wall, I stelled myself and started moving on the edge of the hole, glueing my hands to all sorts of protrusions and resting my feet on all kinds of rubble in order to move just a single step closer to my destination.

"Where do you think you are going!"

Out of nowhere, as I was about to gnash my teeth and reach for a far-off brick that was left stranded by its former companions in the wall, the princess shouted with a high pitched voice, that almost made me grab my head in order to cover my eyes.

With barely enough willpower to continue my motion and reach for the protrusion, I switched my body balance to a more stable position and turned my head to the girl, just three meters of abyss away.

"Don't leave me like that…"

With her brave front suddenly collapsing, she fallen on her knees and hid her face in her hands. In any normal situation, the sight of her jiggling naked breasts as sobbing started shaking her entire body. It took her only a few seconds to overfill the cup made out of her hands, causing her tears to seep in between her fingers and start wetting her neck and collarbone. 

"I can't stop right now. Just wait there for a moment, I will be right back."

There was no way I would drop the idea of checking the further part of the tower, just because some cute girl starter bawling her eyes out in front of me! I wasn't the same guy that came to this world where just a single sign of affection or look of naked skin could wring all the juices out of my mind!

If I managed to uncover the secrets of this tower, or maybe even steal away its resources for myself, I might be able to heal Eve! Compared to my loved one, even this so-called princes would be put to shame!

But all of that didn't mean that my heart didn't move at her sight. Sentenced to her current fate just by her birth, forced to come through these insane events only because I was keen on stealing her folk for my own use… Even if this world was ruled by the strength, I still had my own morality! If I were to just leave her alone like that, I couldn't look myself in the eyes in the future!

But for now, my priority was to scavenge the interior of the tower. Keeping that in mind, I continued to move along the edge of the collapsed part of the building, while hissing the air out whenever more daring move allowed me to see all the shining stars of the universe as my body reminded me of the state it was currently in!

Thankfully, after a few moments of hard work, I finally reached the point where I could just climb the rumble and walk towards the hall. 

As soon as I crossed the place where the wall separating the big room from the staircase I used to climb to this floor, I felt a strange force sweeping through my entire self, before a voice sounded in my ears.

"Welcome to Bangari Tower. From the fact that you managed to enter its insides during the bestowing ritual, I dare to assume you are a fellow system user. What brings you inside my home?"
