While Others Cultivate, I Use My Unique RPG Leveling System to Cultivate Smut Romance With Their Girlfriends! Chapter 319

Left with no other option, I decided to follow Bonger's advice.
Despite not having any tools to do so, I went back to the entry line of the woods and cut two, big trees with a thin strand of the entropy. As soon as they fell, I scrapped the bark out of their surface and carved a few, thin but long logs.
My creation didn't need to serve any practical purpose. I only needed the automatic part of the system to recognise what I was trying to achieve and bestow an ability to do it upon me.
But instead of helping me out, the fate seemed to show me its middle finger.
Despite cutting out the planks out of the logs, a notification didn't appear.
After cutting out the base parts of the boat skeleton, the notification didn't appear.
After arranging all the parts in a way they should be nailed, the notification didn't appear.
Only when I started pulling out the nails out of the existing boat by carefully operating the entropy around the metallic parts inside the boat, I could finally see the message I was looking forward so much.
"Blop!"
"Shipbuilding ability acquired!"
To be honest, it was a long time since I last heard it. I could only guess that as I moved to use my abilities of choice more and more, the automatic part of the system was bound to detect this change of behaviour, and simply ignore the parts of the system I didn't grow accustomed to.
For example, my executioner's path was on the brink of bringing me some serious benefits in form of a complete set of movement for someone capable of reaching the beginning stages of a career in the ranks of imperial guards!
While I knew that my development was aimed more at the magical path instead of aiming to be a brawny musclehead, it didn't automatically mean that I wouldn't have any use for such moves!

Using the fact that I still had nearly two thousand attribute points simply lying around, I didn't even hesitate to invest just fifty of them to bring the shipbuilding ability to the maximum level and evolve into a 'bad' stage with another hundred of points.
Just like that, and an enormous stream of knowledge gushed into my head, just as if I suddenly took a dive into a stream of shipbuilding wisdom stolen from the heads of the renowned shipyard heads over the ages.
From the correct way to prepare the materials, through the basic and more advanced layouts of the personal boats and enormous, Chinese styled ships… It all just appeared inside my mind, making me faint-headed for a moment.
Taking all the information appearing inside my head into the account, I realised that there was no damn point in trying to make an elaborate ship to travel such a short distance!
First thing first, the bigger the ship, the greater its submersion would be, bringing more problems in form of the requirement of a dock if I didn't want to just abandon it after a single-use. This point alone was enough to take most of the available project out of the account, without even bringing the matter of tools into the discussion!
"I guess this idea will suit the current situation the best…"
Speaking to myself, I ditched away the carved parts of the wood and approached the line of the forest again. This time I was looking for quite thick trees.
Instead of looking for a quality product, I simply picked any big plant with a diameter big enough to satisfy my desire. With a number of thirty people to bring across the water and a small number of resources or maybe even beasts, I settled on the fifty trees.

But I didn't cut them at all!
Instead of making two, triangular cuts on each side of the trunk and then waiting for it to fall… only to get even more work with taking the bark off and carving the planks out of the logs… I simply carved the insides of the trunks, not bothered by the fact that it was simply eaten away by the entropy!
Only after this deed was done, I collected the rotten mass and placed it back into the trunks before covering the holes with a thin layer of earth and moss I just picked from the ground.
With that done, I fell some trees and carved a twenty-five, long arches, with pointy ends. And that was essentially all I had to do.
Leaving the dead trunks where they used to grow, was just a part of my countermeasures. Without any idea what I was supposed to meet in the Overlord's village, all one had to do to escape was to get close to one of the trunks, clear it out of the mud, wait for me to cut it en masse and then carry over the water. In short words, it was just a simple, primitive trunk boat, with arches serving as connectors that could allow combining all of the boats into a single entity to provide stability!
With that done, I carved the location of the spot in reference to the coast and some marking points in my mind, before finally getting to move towards the village.
But it appeared to be easier said than done.
The only time I ever have seen the place, was when I was swimming around the island to get back into my own one! And what could be easily reached by sea, wasn't necessary as easily approachable by foot!
It took me a good few hours to finally find some reliable leads to follow in form of what was probably supposed to be a road, despite me already going too far to call it a simple clearance in the flora!
But as soon as I managed to find it, the road shortened significantly, allowing me to bypass a lot of natural obstacles, that otherwise would take me hours to circumvent!
Nevertheless, I almost couldn't hold back my tears of joy, when I finally saw the light of the village shining through the treetops in the distance!
