While Others Cultivate, I Use My Unique RPG Leveling System to Cultivate Smut Romance With Their Girlfriends! Chapter 242

The small pill around the size of a ping pong ball seemed to shine with its own light. No matter how I attempted to discern any sort of texture of its exterior that would hint what kind of ingredients it was made of, all I could see was just this shiny light emitted by this strange entity.
The process of making this pill was actually an accident. When I was sweeping all of the remaining resources from my storage ring that lingered there from times back at the wandering sword sect, I accidentally placed some medicinal herbs and magical beast parts into my item randomizer.
At first, I thought that all that could happen would be the items going to waste by creating some strange mix of metals, fur and herbs, but while the hard materials indeed ended up in trash, as soon as I threw them away, I felt a powerful suction on my mana, that I wasn't able to stop at all!
Only after my normal cultivation got dried for three times over, did the suction stop with the item randomiser spewing this strange pill away. If not for my insane ocean of mana that constantly resupplied energy in my dantian, this pill was more than enough to dry all my life away at not even be completed!
With such a huge sacrifice, I thought that its effects would be at least as great as the price a normal cultivator would have to pay for creating it, but in the end, it can only release exactly as much energy for the one who would consume it, as it stole from me. While it transformed my mana into uniform energy that wasn't afflicted with my own ego and nature, outside of supplying someone with abundant amount of energy, it didn't have many uses.
"Just as you might judge from its look, this pill garners immense amount of energy, that is comparable to three times the amount of developing core cultivator entire strength! If you imagine all the energy that you had to assimilate to reach the developing core stage, then multiply it by a three and at least this much worth of nourishment this pill garners!"

Even if I knew for sure that my way of cultivation resulted in far greater advancements, I had no way of directly quantifying the difference. Even if it was obvious that there was a lot more energy inside this pill than what I told to the public, I think anyone that will be able to0 get their hands on this pill wouldn't be stupid enough to risk consuming it directly, before carefully inspecting it to the most of their abilities!
"The bids will start this time with… five hundred arena coins!"

Living in this city while being a demonic beast forced one to strictly follow a preplanned schedule. After the hunt was done, you need to carry all the prey you can handle to your hideout and bid your time to slowly consume all of it. No matter how weak those rodents and trashdwellers are, there is still a hint of energy lingering in their bodies, allowing me to slowly grow.
Thanks to the years of hard work and experience, I managed to climb my way from a mere soul hazard puppy to something about enriching essence. Not like I know what those terms mean, the humans that saw me used those words to describe me.
With all the harsh experiences that I obtained from years of surviving in the harsh environment of this city, I know that breaking my schedule can be deadly. It's thanks to breaking this rule that the last ones of my breathing that were living alongside me, got hunted down. Lured by some precious food, they couldn't hold back their urge to advance and reach the evolution stage, that would allow us to break free from the confines of this city and go back to our home, with enough strength in our muscles to fend for ourselves!
As I continued to slowly feast on my prey, I tried my best to not let even a single droplet of blood spill as I slowly munched on the juicy meat of the rodents. This was also the time when I cursed my fate the most. From what I saw back in the forest, as soon as my kind evolves, so does our muzzle. While the one I currently have is great for reaching the throat of my enemies… It is simply too inefficient in terms of drinking the blood of my prey!

But what's this smell?
Despite the small pile of the meat still being more than enough for a whole day of munching and two weeks of assimilating the energy, as soon as I felt this insane fragrance coming from above, I couldn't be bothered with this punny meat anymore!
As my paws involuntarily stepped towards the entrance to my small hideout, I had to forcefully ram by back legs into the ground to stop my body from moving forward.
I can't go out in the day!
It might be evening, but there are still some humans roaming the streets! If even a single one sees me, it will be the end!
But this fragrance… It's simply too alluring!
Unable to hold myself back, I fell all my pawns making me almost float into the air, as if my nose was able to lift me up for the sake of following this insane smell.
While I'm intoxicated by this and I know that I won't be able to hold myself back if I won't at least take a small peak at the thing that is emitting such a beautiful and energy-rich smell, some of my instincts that were beaten into my head through the years are still forcing me to flit through the shadows near the corners of the walls. Even without being able to stop myself from heading towards the source of this fragrance, I am sober enough to pick the smaller and more desolate streets!
The closer I get to the source of this smell, the stronger it pulls me towards itself. As my rationality wavers, I can't stop nor control myself anymore. I can only run towards this fragrance. I already know that if I manage to swallow whatever is emitting this smell, not only will I be able to reach my evolution but maybe even get close to the next one!
As a high wall suddenly appears between me and my destination, I gather the strength in my back legs, using the full extent of the power of my body for the first time in ages. Living in the city forces one to conserves one strength, not wastefully use it. But even I know that such brightly lit place will have loads and loads of those pesky humans in there!
It also makes sense for such a treasure to appear among those damned apes! I can only hope that by going at full speed, I will be able to snatch the source of this great smell and run away before they will manage to react! If I will be lucky and fast enough to do so, I might very well just run away to the forest right away! No matter what, without hours of preparations, those dumb monkeys would never dare to enter the woods!
Jump!
As my back legs lose contact with the ground I can hear some humans speaking.
"Five thousand for the second time and sold!"

The Magus Killer was dying. He had done all he could to be a Hero and save as many people as he could. He killed his father to do it. He killed his adopted mother to do it. He killed his wife in the hopes to put an end to the need to do it ever again. He failed in rescuing his daughter as a result of his efforts. Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess. (This work is also being serialised on Webnovel under the name Revile as a trial run)
