This time, crossing the border of this penguin area did not instantly force a binding spell or me. While I'm happy I don't need to fight right away, I can't be sure whether it didn't want to challenge me or just didn't notice my entry.

With nothing to weight on my consciousness, I take a closer look at the area. Just by stepping by I can feel that its atmosphere changed, from an open flatlands covered in a snowscape as far as my eye can see to lush grassland with only occasional daggers of ice growing from the ground like if they were just a difrent type of plant.

Gesturing at Eve, I urge her to come inside this place as well before forcing my body to move forward as well. While I know I don't really have anything to worry about, with the hardships that I previously experienced by simply appearing in this place, my mind is still quite wary of this location.

Contrary to my expectations, even after travelling for quite a while through this nice landscape, I can't spot this penguin at all! While it's obvious that with its greatly reduced size it won't be as eye-catching as it was before, if I remember correctly, just its consolidated aura that I felt just before we went separate ways the last time, should be far more enough for me to sense it.

Were my worries about some other monster taking its place right on the spot?

Even if I had quite a history with this penguin, the fight that we had made me grow quite nostalgic of its fur. If it didn't change into a berserk beast that only sees other living beings as food, I would love to have my turn of petting it!

Just as my thoughts wander to a difrent scenarios that could've happened, I can feel the familiar freeze instantly shrouding my entire body. What's surprising though, is that I don't hear any poetry!

While this arctic binding is strong, it goes without saying that it's not nearly as powerful as it should be to be able to hold me in place! Without even driving my cultivation, I simply shrug it off, banking on the sheer might of my strength statistic.

This time, however, the penguin isn't late to the party!

Just as breaking the binding takes me just a fraction of the second, he descends from the sky with a great force in the same amount of time! As soon as its legs touch the ground, the entire force of his descend is turned into coldness, making the entire area freeze in an instant!

I thought that the binding that I just broke was enough to be safe from it, but who could've known that its next attack was able to block me in place completly? Even by relying on my entire strength, I couldn't break free from it!

As panic started to slowly seep into my soul, I felt my cultivation surging to its peak, before my aura burst out from my body and blasted this insane coldness away! I didn't even need to look behind me to know that Eve saved me once more from this kind of situation!

While all those events transpired in just a one single moment, thanks to my perception improved not only by my stats but by my cultivation level as well, I could clearly follow the order at which everything happened, making sense of it on the go.

Just when I thought that it will launch itself at me in order to end the fight in one go, it suddenly stopped in its track while looking at me with its eyes wide open! As a hint of enlightenment appeared in its pupils, it turned its stare to Eve, only to appear hostile once more!

"Don't worry about her!"

Moving myself to block its direct vision, I raise my hands while ditching out all the gyuarna heads from my storage ring. Throwing them on the ground, I take a step back and show at the direction that we need to go.

"Could you allow us to pass to that border of your lair? We want to train there, and when we will be going back, I will make sure to provide you with some other energetical food!"

While the beasts at this level can't either speak or communicate their thoughts in a normal way, it goes without saying that they do understand human speech.

While this penguin managed to recite poetry during our previous fight, I guess it was more of a spell than conscious speaking. But that doesn't change the fact, that it was able to pronounce the words correctly!

As pengu moves towards my gifts, it smells one with care, only to drop all appearances and start devouring them all in one go!

While it might sound like it is either insanely hungry or simply greedy, when I meant that it devoured them all in one go, I actually meant it! It literally managed to stuff all of this energetical food into his small beak in just a fraction of a second!

Even I'm unable to reach such an insane movement speed!

I guess the treatment that I provided it with either allowed this cute penguin to reach a higher realm or just decreased its size while keeping its potential speed and strength. It looks like if it decides to still duke it out with me, we will have a real problem!

Despite my worries, as soon as it finished its food, it simply walked comically to me on its short legs, reached with its fin for its head and tapped on it a few times.
