This world was either a set up from this damned god, or my apparently hidden LUCK stat was terribly low! Right after I saw the first effect of the system, a magical best found us!

"GET LOST!"

I shout, hoping that it will scare the beast off. While I might be stronger than my lack of cultivation makes me appear, I would prefer avoiding any unnecessary fights before I confirm how powerfull I became!

Sadly, this beast didn't care about my shouts. Slowly coming towards me, I could see more and more details of its big and ugly body. To put it in more earthly terms, it looked like oversized black panter, with sabretooth blood mixed in it. As its bulging muscles moved with every silent step it took, the beast eyes moved toward the girl that I tried so hard to save!

"No way in hell!"

It was obvious that I would be too slow to obstruct its attack if it were to attack the woman. The heavenly sensation that I experienced from this squishy and delicate bottom, put me in her debt!

With all my energy, I jumped at this beast. With my life flashing before my eyes, I saw all the memories I managed to make in the past thirty or so hours in this world. Gathering all my energy in my fist, I chanted "FUSRODAH" in my head while throwing a punch!

"Blop!"

"Basic magic fighting unlocked"

"Blop!"

"Warrior Monk route enabled!"

With those two communicates showing up on the periphery of my sight, I can feel my punch connect! Apparently, this beast disregarded me to the point of not avoiding the attack at all! In the next split of a second, I hear some mulled sound of something crashing and breaking! And my time on earth taught me what this sound mean!

Right when I tried to separate from the beast to check the state from my apparently broken hand, I see a black paw with extended claws. In this moment, I swear I could see a light glistering on it! Unable to dodge or even block this attack, I can only brace myself for the hit!

It's quite comfortable?

The feeling of soft and fluffy paw pressing on my face is really comfortable!

WAIT!

WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED!

How in the love of God am I still alive? This panter attack was so fast that it should lift the burden of carrying my head from my neck! How I'm still alive!

As the beast appears to be as stunned as I am, I use this chance to look at the messages popping out at the edge of my sight.

"Blop!"

"Chanted punch deals critical damage"

"Blop!"

"Enemy attack negated by high resistance."

Ah! That's right! For some damn reason, my resistance is out of this world!

With this realisation, my mind is overwhelmed by the glee. If this beast can't deal any damage to me, I can very well make use of what the first message implied!

"ROAR"

As If I turned into another beast, I send another punch into the massive body of this oversized animal. For some reason, I don't feel that it amounted to anything.

"Roar?"

Still unable to comprehend what is going on, the beast sends me a strange look before turning its eyes back to the defenceless girl. With its body moving away from me now, my mind blanks. Even if it can't kill me, I don't seem to do much harm to it as well!

But how did I manage to land a critical strike on it?

Suddenly recalling the weird shout and the messages from the system, I try to outrun the best to stand between it and the girl on the ground.

Luckily, my first desperate attack caused some internal injuries to the animal, rendering it unable to use its agility anymore. Now it needs to drag its body with its front legs, with its back limbs not moving at all.

Forcing myself to not cry from the shame, I put my hands together and bend my body to the side.

"Kaaaaaaaaaa…"

Despite being seriously injured, the beast still keeps going in our direction with a fierce fire burning in its eyes.

"Meeeeeeeee…."

With every step that this beast takes, the distance between us shrinks.

"Huuuuuuuuu….."

If I were to extend my hand, I could pat this beast head. The girl lies only a meter behind me. It's all up to this one shot!

"MEEEEEEE..."

Despite the attack not yet fully cast, I can feel twirls of energy mixed with an insane fear rushing through my veins.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!"

With a sudden burst, all the energy that I felt in my body vanished. In a split of a second, I can feel a great force pushing me back as the air near my hands heats up. Before anything else happens, a bright ray of light comes to existence and burst through the beasts body, nearby trees, farther treas, treetops and finally ends somewhere outside the planet!

The entire area gets energized in contrast to my body that falls down powerlessly. This is the last thing that I notice before my consciousness fades away once fucking again.
