"Double check everything. We must make sure that everything is in place." The leader of the crew shouted as loud as he could.

They were making preparations for the Silveren Peace Day which will be held at the biggest stadium of the country, The Joyce Stadium. Many intelligence agents were also there to check if there were any possible dangers. The bomb experts were also searching for any possible explosive.

Ten Representatives from ten countries will be present in the event; but it's the first time for an Edeladon Representative to attend the event ever since the event was founded 10 years ago.

One hour left before the event begins. Prince Felix left the Guest House accompanied by Team Delta. It was the same for the other nine Representatives as the ride will take at least 40 minutes.

The Joyce Stadium was crowded like every other year. People walked past each other with a small peace flag on their hands. It was issued by the Government of Silveren for this special occasion.

Almost all the seats were already occupied and thousands of people still gathered outside the stadium. The Silveren Peace Day was regarded as the biggest event held by the Silveren Government. A solemn ceremony will take place before noon, followed by entertainment and music for the people in the afternoon till very late at night.

Team Delta entered the huge stadium, paving way for the Crown Prince. Many people admired the handsome and charismatic Prince of a foreign country.

Dressed in a black suit which was well suited for his tall and well built figure, he looked like a true gentleman. With a black blowout haircut with tampered sides adding to his masculine looks and an appealing ocean blue eyes which captivate the attention of the crowd; he quickly became the media's favourite in the event.

Felix maintained his pace, unfazed by the attention he received. He was in the spotlight from the moment he was born and he was used to this kind of attention.

The team escort the Prince through the crowd in high alert. Captain Yelena suddenly stopped when someone caught her attention. She turned around and take a look at a certain man.

No! This can't be! Why did she sense the smell of an explosive when that man walked past her?!

She immediately instructed her team to escort the Prince to his seat and went after the man.

"Control room! Control room! This is Captain Yelena of Team Delta. Suspicious person spotted near the south entrance! I repeat. Suspicious person spotted near the south entrance! Calling for back up. Over and out." She reported the situation to the control room.

She carefully followed the man as close as she could. He looked young; maybe he was in his 20s.

She could catch him right away but decided that it was not the best option. She didn't know what the man had in his sleeves. Besides she needs to be careful to not alert the crowd.

Soon, another standby team came to her as she requested for back up. She told them about the smell of the explosive as they went after the man.

Then they approach the man from behind and inject him on the neck with an electric baton which instantly made him unconscious! The other members used their body to hide the whole process from the people. They move so fast that they were able to bring the man out with no one noticing.

Even though they were not certain, they need to take necessary precautions. The shock will only made him lose consciousness for a while. There was no lingering effects. Besides, an average man will not go around with the smell of explosive in his body, isn't it?

Just ignoring was too high of a risk for them! Thousands of people, Representatives from ten countries and even their own country leaders lives are on the line!

They carried the man to the room which was located next to the control room. Colonel Maverick Yaris instantly appeared on the room. He was in charge of the control room for this event.

If you are in the Silveren Army, there was no way that you wouldn't know the name 'Maverick Yaris'. He was a legend of the Silveren Army!

It had been only 7 years since he joined the Army but he already achieved the rank of 'Colonel' due to his endless merits. Now at the age of 29, he was the youngest Colonel in the Silveren Army. Not to mention that he reached where he is now with his own efforts. He came from a humble family.

Captain Yelena and the other soldiers immediately salute the legend. The Colonel scanned the room with his keen eyes and his gaze landed on Yelena.

He was told that the one who made the report was a female Captain. Was it her? There were no other female in the room.

"Are you Captain Yelena?" He asked her.

"Captain Yelena Arista of the Rayvix Special Forces!" She responded firmly while standing in a salute position.

"At ease." Colonel Maverick commanded.

Hold on! What did he just heard? Did she say 'Arista'? He wanted to ask her some questions but they were in emergency.

"You are the one who made the report? Tell me what happened."

Yelena reported what exactly happened - from herself sensing the smell of an explosive to how they made the man unconscious.

"Good job, Captain. When will he regain his consciousness?" The Colonel asked.

Yelena glanced at her wristwatch. "Very soon, sir! Around two minutes."

"Fine. Let's wait for a while then." Colonel Maverick calmly said.

Yelena truly admired how calm this Colonel was even in this situation. She used to looked up to him from all the news she heard about him; even though this was the first time she met him in person.

Colonel Maverick glanced at Yelena for a few times. Was she really that girl? He recalled a young girl he saw 6 years ago. She was crying over her brother's dead body while he stared at her from afar.

The brother was his batch mate who unfortunately passed away during the survival training. Was she really that fragile girl?

"Sir, he is awake!" The voice of his subordinate aroused Colonel Maverick from his thoughts. He instantly approach the man and sat before him.

The man didn't seem to be amazed at all. He casually sat there as if it was his home. He was not even intimidated!

"You are such a bold one." Colonel Maverick smirked. "Are you a part of the victims family organisation?" His face turned deadly serious. He looked so scary that everyone in the room could feel intimidated at his presence, except the man they caught.

"Tell me. What do you plan to do? Explode a bomb? Sniping the Edeladon Representative?" He casually asked the man like it was no big deal.

The man simply sneered at the Colonel but there was no other response.

"No? Then I think I was wrong. How could a weak and powerless organization like yours possibly do?" The Colonel stated with a mocking smile. "Did I overestimate your organisation?"

Yelena was dumbfounded for a while; but she soon understand what was going on. Colonel Maverick was trying to provoke the man, so that the man would speak.

Just as expected, the man's face turned red due to anger. "Shut up, you soldier!" He ranted as he abruptly stand up from his seat. But the soldiers hold him back and instantly forced him to sit down again.

"Why? Did I hurt your feelings? But I was simply saying the truth. You call yourselves a great organisation; but you failed each time. I bet you will fail this time as well." He said with a light chuckle as if he was enjoying the situation.

"I said shut up!" The man was glaring at Colonel Maverick with his fiercely red eyes. His hands curled into a fist!

"There's nothing you can do. All you do is child play! I think you're too afraid to make a plan this time. You're afraid that you will fail again, like always!" The Colonel continued to provoke the man.

The man abruptly stand up and start ranting at Colonel Maverick's face. "You don't know anything! We will destroy this whole place! This peace that you are proud of is nothing! The leaders of this darn country, all those delegates including the Prince of Edeladon and those people who easily accept the Edeladons just because they are not the ones who suffer! We will kill them all!"

"How will you do that?" The Colonel shouted as he looked at the man straight in the eyes.

"A number of our members are there among the crowd with a bomb planted on their body!"
