Max sat there looking at the silent Andriel allowing her to have her time. He didn't have any idea just how sensitive the topic was to her and hence, it was better not to rush her.

After a few minutes, Andriel looked at Max biting her lips before finally speaking as she lowered her head, "I was cursed…"

The words made Max frown. He didn't expect something like that.

Andriel's shoulder quivered as she further continued, "Cursed to eternal life and loneliness...I was born just to suffer..."

"It was tough...It was very tough all this time…" Andriel's face began to tear up as the emotions overwhelmed her. She couldn't help but cry out like a child.

This was the true Andriel…..

Max sat there looking at her tearing her heart out. He really hated himself fo taking it so long to notice this. He hated himself for not realising the truth behind her prevented act.

'Just what have I been seeing all this time...' Max suddenly reached out to her and pulled her into his embrace trying to comfort her.

He didn't know what she had gone through, but he could feel the sadness that she had been holding back all along. It was finally bursting out today.

He suddenly felt a rage lighting up in his heart…He wanted to find out who was responsible for this...

"Who did it?" Max asked lightly.

Andriel clenched Max's shirt as she spoke, "My father….''

Max's mind went blank for a second. He couldn't get a grasp at it, he even felt that he might have heard it wrong. But Andriel's intense cry proved that he didn't…

Just what kind of person was this man? How could someone do that to one's own daughter?

Andriel's cries rang out for a while before finally calming down and she slowly continued.

Andriel's mother belonged to the Succubus race while her father was the son of the Head of the Angel Clan.

Their love story was a very famous one in the upper dimension. At least it used to be before the tragedy.

The Succubus Clan and the Angel clan could be said to be polar opposite after all.

According to the words around, the succubus clan didn't have a good reputation for obvious reasons. They heavily indulge themselves in sexual pleasure at reaching adulthood and it was like a second nature to them. They had to do so to live. One could go without food for a day but not pleasure…

Of course, this was a bit exaggerated but the truth was not far from it. This was how Succubus were made…it was not a problem but a characteristic.

Andriel's mother met her father in her teenage years. He was attracted to her and it was love at first sight. To her mother, it was no different than a love from a fairy tale considering people's perception about succubus...

The two naive young people didn't seem to have any idea about how difficult this love was going to be and went ahead with it. Crossing every line and falling deeper in love with each other.

The childish love wouldn't last long and the time came to make a decision for life…

Angels were very few in numbers but very strong. They were aloof creatures and it was very clear that they wouldn't be accepting a Succubus in them.

Succubus weren't any different. They were looked down upon by most of the people due to the heavily misguided perception about them, which made their unity the strongest in the entire Upper Dimension. Hence, the Succubus were not so fond of other races as well.

The Queen of Succubus at that time, warned Andriel's mother that it wouldn't end well but she didn't heed her words.

The entire upper dimension was in an uproar when they came out with their relationship.

But one had to say, her father was determined. He was willing to leave the clan if it meant being with Andriel's mother.

Andriel's father was someone the Angel's couldn't let go at any cost.

Why?

Because he was the Dimensional Seed.

An existence who none could compare to...Only once in a while will a Dimensional seed be born.

Every time a dimensional seed is born, it would mean a crisis deep enough to threaten the existence of a dimension was about to come.

A Dimensional seed when fully matured could use the dimensional power reaching an extremely terrifying level.

Just to remind you, the reason that people from different dimensions can't travel to each other's dimension because of the Dimensional Force...one can just imagine how overbearing it is if it can have such a strong restraining ability.

So, how could the Angels let such a person leave…they had to give in.

Time passed and very soon after their marriage, Andriel's mother became pregnant with her.

It was here that things started to go wrong.

The Angel's had a low population and it was all because the fertility rate among them were very low...on an average, a couple needed 30 to 40 years worth of time to conceive a child if they got lucky...and the probability of a second child was even low..

And yet, they seemed to have lucked out on it.

But the people didn't seem to think that way though, rumours started to float around that her mother was having an affair...the child belonged to someone else…after all, a Succubus was a Succubus…

That there was no way she could hold herself back for long times when Andriel's father was out on the front lines against the war with the Nether Realm.

Andriel's father didn't believe it at all and his trust never wavered even though he began to be treated as a joke in the world.

Even though there was no proof of his wife's adultery, he couldn't just stop the people from thinking and speaking what they wanted…

But one day, things took a turn. When Andriel's father returned from the front line, he found his wife locked up in the punishment hall.

She was apparently caught red handed while cheating with a servant.

Andriel's father was in shock, her mother constantly denied any of those allegations but the evidence was as clear as day.

Not only that, later, more than half of the male servants in the house who were her father's trusted people admitted to be charmed by her. Even her father's best friend admitted that he too had been charmed by her. Everyone knew how powerful a succubus's charming power were...there was no way someone could resist her...

It was one thing after another and there literally was no way out for her…

Yet, her father took her out and brought her back.
