The Ancient Genes Chapter 499

"Umn~"
Max and Lisa were still entangled together as their clothes loosened up a bit. Their hands slowly snuck into each other's clothes and they seemed to be draining in ecstasy.
Lisa was embarrassed at first and didn't resist Max because of his words but somewhere along the way her body began to heat up and hormones began to do their work.
Lisa became active from the passive state and began to attack as well.
Despite Max's warning to tightly hold onto him, she loosened her grip.
Max had slightly begun to calm down, but when Lisa changed gears it was as if some had added fuel to the fire.
As Lisa had loosened her grip, Max easily pushed her down and separated his lips from her drawing a thin thread of saliva in between them.
Both of them breathed heavily while looking at each other with flushed faces.
Lisa's heart was beating faster than ever before. She laid there defenselessly as her loose top slightly revealed her beautiful shoulder and a good curve of her compact but full chest which easily fitted into Max's palm.
Max was having a hard time stopping himself. The energy in his body was one thing and his frustration was another...just how long did you think he had kept himself under control…even a while ago, he was almost there with Andriel.
Max severely tried to suppress the energy in his body and bit his tongue regaining the clarity in his eyes.
Lisa snapped out of her daze as well seeing blood coming out of Max's mouth once again.
"Leave… " Max muttered with difficulty.
When Lisa saw Max's face twitching and veins popping out as if he was painfully holding himself back, she gritted her teeth before raising her hands with a furious blush on her face as if asking him not to hold back.

She actually had no idea what was happening to Max, but looking at his face it was obvious that he seemed to be in pain. This worried her and she wasn't willing to take any chances…when she didn't even know if it was life threatening or not...
"Idiot..." Max muttered in a low voice as he slowly stooped down on her.
Lisa's body shivered as she closed her eyes, a bit afraid of what was about to happen.
But to her surprise, Max just wrapped his arm around her and pulled her into his lap before leaning on the wall behind.
"Why?'' Lisa couldn't help but ask with teary eyes.
Even though she just shamefully gave herself up for him, he rejected her despite being in so much trouble.
She had lost all her self-respect and couldn't even look Max into his eyes. Her pride as a girl was about to shatter.
"Idiot...do you not know how many people are around here? Besides, even though I am 99% sure that there is no one observing us, I still can't deny the 1%....if somehow there is some kind of surveillance that we are not aware of then..." Max didn't have to complete his words.
"I don't care about myself...but I won't bet your reputation on my instinct in this unfamiliar place even if it meant getting hurt like this..."
Lisa's emotion stabilised a bit as she urged Max to stop talking seeing how difficult it was for him.
Max leaned his mouth towards her ear seeing that she was still a bit down and whispered, "If you don't believe me...we can either continue this in the spirit world with the possibility of Andriel joining us or we wait until we get back home..."

Lisa's face turned red as she tilted her head below before replying in a low inaudible voice, "Back....home..."
The next instant, she realised that she was doing it because Max was in trouble. But if they went back and did it for no reason, wouldn't that ne just seeking pleasure...
Her face turned crimson when she realised her blunder.
"Why did you act like this? Don't throw yourself for me out like that.... What will you do if I fall in love with you?'' Max was lying if he said he didn't feel anything when she just threw herself out like that to save him without caring about any consequences.
Lisa buried her face in Max's chest, there was hidden joyful gleam in her eyes as she hid her expression.
Max didn't have many thoughts in his mind, he just hugged Lisa and quietly bore the pain while slowly pressing the energy in his body before finally managing to overpower it.
A good while later…Max finally managed to get rid of it.
With him finally regaining his calm, Max sighed internally after thinking over everything that had happened.
He looked at Lisa in his arms and smiled. He definitely wouldn't have thought that there would be a day like when thinking about his first impression of Lisa.
"Lisa…" Max called out to her.
"Umn…" She responded.
"Let's go out….we haven't been out for a while we don't know what's going around…' Max lightly said.
"Max….do you remember about the deal you made with Elly?''
"Yes…" He replied.
"You wanted to offer it to me too, right?'' She asked still hiding her face in his chest.
"Didn't you reject it?" Max asked with a slight smile.
"Does it still stand?" Lisa asked before explaining nervously, "I mean...a lot has happened already…..and I….mean...you are not…..a bad…..person….so there ….isn't a...reason to not….think about it properly….since we...already have been… engaged…..shall we give it a try too..."
Lisa was nervously waiting for Max to reply but he didn't. When she raised her head to see his face, she couldn't help but blush seeing that smile on her face…
"Is that a confession?" Max asked with a teasing smile.
"Y-You!!! Obviously not, I am thinking logically….didn't Elly do it to…" Lisa retorted with a furious blush.
"She did it for her family…'' Max replied.
"I-I am doing it for my family too…" Lisa replied, gritting her teeth.
"How so?" Max asked with a laugh.
"Hmph! If it's not valid anymore than forget about it…'' Lisa struggled to get out of his embrace with teary eyes when Max finally gave in the towel not daring to mess with her anymore.
"Ok..it's still valid…." Max said, finally calming her down.
"Umn...why aren't you letting me go?" Lisa suddenly asked, seeing that Max had no plan to let her go.
"Well, you are technically my girlfriend now...so is their any problem with me having some sweet time here…'' Max asked with a smile and to his surprise Lisa didn't retort and obediently sat down there with a flushed face not daring to look at Max.
'She is so easy...I might get addicted to this…' Max couldn't help but muttered inwardly.

UPDATES TUES/THURS after chapter 5 Cover art by Tumblr User: @pigeon-princess This book features characters that are related to in many ways to my other novel "Grimoire". While both stories are their own stand alone series, Sun God's Corruption will add a good amount of depth to Grimoire, and Grimoire shows the unfoldings of the world that will eventually come from the events in Sun God's Corruption. I reccomend reading them both interchangably.
