"Shing!"

A sharp blade of black wind cut through the vines blocking the path as the group from the West Gale Academy rushed towards the site where they could hear the sound of battle.

Bayu had a grim look on his face. He was having a bad feeling about it. His intuition was backed by several hundred years of experience in the war during the Ancient Era.

Yet, his pride wouldn't let him turn away.

A great demon like him was fearful of this child's game? Wouldn't he become the laughing stock of the demon world if this came into light….

As they closed in towards the place, an earth wall came into their sight. The noise of battle was coming from the opposite side.

From the looks of it, Bayu was sure that someone had deliberately casted it in order to trap his underling.

The battle outside the dome had reached a critical point. The students of West Gale Academy who had been lured by the Shadow Leopard were badly battered.

The situation until a minute was still barely manageable for them. But for some reason, the gunshots stopped and the beast's suddenly strengthened and even started to use their mana-related abilities.

Obviously, Max and Axel had stopped their support now that they no longer needed these guys to hold on to.

The battle continued and injuries began to accumulate.

The weaker guy whose bag had been stolen began to move sluggishly after his injuries accumulated. In the end, he met with a beast's razor sharp claws which sent him crashing into the earth wall behind.

The guy's bone had shattered. He screamed miserably as blood flew from the wound on his chest.

When he saw the mouth of the beast glowing with a strange white light, fear struck him. He didn't hesitate any longer and immediately forfeited.

When the other guy saw his teammate leave, he knew that it was over. He was about forfeit as well when he heard the noise of his teammates begin the earth wall.

"I am here!!!!'' He screamed desperately.

"Boom!"

A loud noise rang out in the vicinity and the earth wall shook before exploding out into pieces as a hole appeared in it.

Bayu looked at the guy who was barely holding on. He frowned and then suddenly waved his hand.

"Whoosh!"

A black tornado swept through the place and the Ferocious beasts which constituted the majority of the beasts were immediately swept apart in the air before being sliced apart by the sharp wind blades.

Axel who was watching the scene from a distance, couldn't help but admire Bayu's strength.

The guy who saw Bayu destroying the beast finally felt relieved. He had been saved.

But at this moment the ground began to shake and a figure shot out from the entrance of the Dome.

Bayu looked at the guy and immediately recognised him.

It was Lear.

"Finally found you!!!" Lear smiled as he threw a bottle of water towards Bayu.

Bayu was cautious and destroyed the bottle with a slice of his hand only to be drenched in water.

"Don't you need water after food, I am a nice guy...take it…"

Those were the last words that he heard before Lear's figure disappeared. The guy had actually wrapped himself in the invisible cloak and took to the sky to escape.

Before Bayu could do anything the entrance of the dome suddenly crumbled as the Human Faced Spider broke out of the small entrance.

"Scree!!!!!!"

It screamed like crazy when it saw all of its dead underlings. It's eyes shifted to the group of humans and it immediately related it to Lear who had destroyed its eggs..

"Retreat!!!" Bayu immediately gave an order with a heavy heart. He knew that they had fallen into a devious trap.

The guy who was on the ground didn't even realise what had happened. He seemed to have been rescued for a moment but the next instant, he was engulfed in a white light.

When the breath attack dissipated, the guy was gone. Dead or alive….no one knew…

As for the group from West Gale Academy, under Bayu's order, they rushed in different directions.

The Human Faced Spider released a roar and commanded its beasts to chase after the humans while it took the initiative to chase after Bayu.

Lear and Axel looked at the scene and smiled. After that, they separated as well. How could they not cause any more trouble?

Traps have already been laid as long as they created some obstruction, the West Gale was down for.

On the other side….

Two figures landed inside the dome.

"I will direct you...let's hurry up before that thing returns. I doubt those guys will be able to hold it out for much longer…." Max said to Mark and he nodded.

Bayu was as strong as Wilson according to the last fight. Even if he grew at breakneck speed, there was no way he could fight with the Human Faced Spider...unless he revealed his demonic powers maybe…

At most, he might be able to hide or escape and that would still mean that the beast would return.

Under Max's direction, Mark searched the place and grabbed the dummies one after another and when he reached his limit, he came towards the center area and dumped them there for Max to collect.

Max wasn't sitting idle as well and roamed around collecting the dummies as fast as possible.

Sewers….

Another battle was currently raging in the sewers.

The Sewer Alliance formed by the trapped students had finally decided to break through the nest of the Swamp Crocs to reach the surface.

They didn't have any other choice. The couldn't find any other exits and their frequent encounter with Swamp Crocs was leaving them with injuries and casualties.

Besides, they only had seven days. The second day was about to end as well. If they couldn't get out, then it was no different than forfeiting…

The one's leading the battle were Arthur, Venice and another Avance Tier from Blue City Academy.

The trio took on the Swamp Lord which was a low 3★ Savage Beast, the same as the Giant Manticore.

But that thing utterly suppressed the trio. No one in this group had reached Expert Tier like Erina not to mention they were fighting in water….it was the beast's domain.

"Lisa... hold on for a second….I will back them up…" Aria sliced one of the crocs and freed herself from her restriction.

In a rush to help the trio, she failed to identify the threat lying below. A tail suddenly sprang out of water aiming at Aria's back.

"Aria!!" Lisa screamed and pushed her aside, but couldn't get away herself.

"Bang!"

She was struck right in her abdomen and was sent flying towards the deeper part of the nest.

As her body crashed into the water, dozens of the beast immediately rushed towards her.

"No!!!!" Aria screamed as worry covered her face. As she was about to rush into, her teammate from Orca stopped her.

It was a team competition after all, why would one sacrifice for another? Not to mention, you had the option to forfeit…

But Lisa did it for Aria and yet the person still turned a blind eye to it...

Everyone frowned thinking about the loss of another fighter.

If any one among the trio facing the Swamp Lord could free themselves for a minute, it was possible to get Lisa out...but they were already in a dire circumstance how could they have the liberty to help others.

Besides, they planned to break through and make a path towards exit and not venture into the nest and fight till death.

When the beasts entirely surrounded Lisa and she could no longer be seen, everyone sighed while Aria couldn't help but tear up.

But at this moment, a white light shined and a terrifying fluctuation spread throughout the sewers.

"Boom!"

An explosion occurred and the group of crocs were sent flying away.

Lisa was panting while looking at the familiar black beast in shock. It seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.

"Kheke!!"

Lisa was taken back when she heard the creepy noise. But she still vividly remembered the centipedes which had crawled onto her shoulder.

"Roar!!!!!"

The Shadow Leopard suddenly released a roar terrifying everyone. Even Arthur felt pressured facing the beast.

"Twice!" Lisa looked at it and suddenly understood why Max didn't come for help and asked her to deal with it herself.

The annoying feeling that she had after talking to Max suddenly disappeared and a beautiful smile appeared on her face..

'Hmph! That guy is a tsundere...couldn't he have told me about it..'

Twice picked Lisa up and kept her on its back.

Everyone was shocked and scared when another beast appeared out of nowhere. But looking at how it allowed Lisa on it's back, even a fool could understand that it was a tamed beast.

Very few people had beast contracts with them. It wasn't easy to tame a beast, only people with Nature affinity could do it and hence were called Beast Tamers.

Beast Tamers were just like Healers and were very rare....

Now seeing that Lisa had a beast contract, everyone was surprised.
