The Ancient Genes Chapter 474

"What am I going to do now…this doesn't look good…." Axel muttered as he looked at the huge Blood Eating Bat blocking the entrance.
He was not the type to fight a head-on battle. Currently, he didn't have any preparations done.
"Why don't you forfeit now? We don't have a way to escape…you will get hurt if you don't..." Axel tried to talk to Erina but she couldn't even reply in her state.
"Mr. Overseer...the girl here want to forfeit, where are you?" Axel tried his best but got no response.
Erina was almost seething in rage seeing him behave so shamelessly. She didn't mind forfeiting now that things had come to this, but she was naked….she would rather die than withdraw out like that…
'Don't tell me, if you lose your ability to speak...then it's your fault…' Axel frowned.
The next instant, he suddenly moved when he saw the Blood Eating Bat releasing its breath attack.
"Tsk…It's difficult to move like this...sorry miss...but I don't have the liberty to worry about your comfort now…"
Erina looked at Axel as he removed the cloak over her and shifted her to his back before using the cloak to tie her to him.
Erina was almost about to faint due to anger and embarrassment. This b*stard touched several places which weren't meant to be touched. Not to mention, her body was sticking to his and she didn't have any clothes on!!!!
Erina was really regretting not forfeiting earlier. The only thing which eased her tension a bit was that they were indoor and not outdoors, at least the whole world was not watching her.
"F*ck! You are so heavy!!" Axel cursed and Erina started to boil in anger.
"Bang!"
Axel dodged the incoming claws and shot at its wings which were its weaker part of its body.

"Scree!!!"
The Blood Eating Bat released a scream as holes appeared in its wings.
But it wasn't going to make a difference. After all, it wasn't flying to begin with.
'Think...Think before it's too late….' Axel looked around before finally coming to a decision.
He immediately fired a few rounds towards the beast and used the opportunity to run up the stairs. The narrow stairway would restrict the beast's movement and give Axel a much needed help. He just had to be careful and not allow it to use its breath attack though.
"Boom!"
The Blood Eating Bat chased after Axel. Its body destroyed the walls inside and the structure began to shake.
Even though its movements were restricted the Blood Eating Bat used its long hand and swiped its claws at Axel.
"Tsk…" Axel had no option but to turn around in order to prevent the attack from hitting Erina.
"Shnk!"
"That hurts…" Axel cursed as he looked at the wound on his chest. It actually wasn't deep enough. But it had managed to draw the blood out.
Erina realized that they were done for. If Axel didn't forfeit now while he had the chance, he would be like her in a minute.
But out of her expectation, Axel took out a small vial of liquid from his pouch and gulped it down.
Each vial lasted for an hour. If he got poisoned once again after the time was up, he would have to use another vial of antidote…
And currently, Axel only had three of those on him including the one he just used. After all, unlike others his bag and pouches were filled with ammunition.
Erina wanted to tear this guy apart when she saw him drink an antidote. If he had the antidote why didn't he give it to her? If he wanted to help her then he should do it properly...She knew she was being unreasonable but look at her condition….can anyone blame her for it? It was one thing if it was pain…she could bear it without releasing a squeak....but this embarrassment wasn't something she could endure...

''You made me use my precious vial...if I don't kill you now...it really would be a waste…"
Axel was pissed. His heart was bleeding because of the vial he had just used. He raised his gun and pointed it at the beast.
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
Axel continued to shoot and made several more holes in its body. But it didn't seem to do much damage.
The Blood Eating Bat charged at Axel in rage. It opened its mouth and showed its shape teeth planning to bite Axel's head off.
Axel stood there calmly without flinching.
The Blood Eating Bat had already taken a few shots and was confident that Axel couldn't do much damage to him and wasn't a threat.
But at this moment, a black glow emerged on the gun and the next instant a black streak of light shot out piercing the beast's chest.
Erina clearly saw that it failed to pierce much into its skin. The wings were the weak point. But shooting at the chest with a handgun...it was already a miracle that his bullets were working but wasn't this guy asking for too much? How could he expect bullets to pierce through its heart? It was beast not a stuffed toy...
But what happened next left Erina questioning herself…..
When the Blood Eating Bat's claw was almost about to reach him, it stopped. Black runes appeared on its body chaining it to the ground.
"Can't believe it... so many days of my hard work went away just like that…." Axel sighed. His heart bled on firing that precious bullet.
He then looked at the beast on the ground who was glaring at him.
Axel then took out two grenades from his pouch and quietly put it in its mouth and pulled out the pins.
"Let's go…" He said to Erina and then rushed out of the place after adjusting his invisible cloak.
"Boom!"
The building crumbled under the force of the explosion lighting up the night sky.
...
In an abandoned garage...
Axel put Erina down after confirming that it was safe.
He then hesitated but seeing that the poison had started to take effect and she was in pain, he took out the antidote reluctantly.
He held her head up and opened her mouth before pouring it in.
But it started to spill out. The paralysis seemed to have affected her in every possible way that she couldn't even swallow it properly.
"Don't you dare to spill it out!!! It's precious….I won't give you another one!!" Axel held her mouth tight and stopped the liquid from spilling out. He then shook her head in every way trying to force the liquid down her throat.
Erina's eyes began to roll, she really wanted to kill Axel now. She couldn't breath, she was suffocating.
Axel realised it as well and immediately tried to contact Wilson but he couldn't. It wasn't working because he used the black runes earlier.
What to do?
Wilson will destroy all of his stuff and kill him if something happens to Erina…
Why the f*ck did he have to deal with this?!!
''I hope you won't be petty and hold a grudge against me…."
After saying that, in front of Erina's wide eyes. He lowered his face down on her and used his mouth to force the liquid down her throat.
