"What do we do?" Axel sighed as he looked at the terrace engulfed in black flames and purple lightning.

"Why are you asking me? I have nothing to do with this…." Max quietly took a step aside.

"Like in hell can you leave...grab him Kevin!!" Axel shouted and together with Kevin held onto Max.

"You think you can overpower me?" Max smiled and with a shake of his hand, Axel fell toward the side. He then shook his other hand but Kevin clung to him like a gum refusing to let go.

"Let go!!!" Max shook his hand even harder but it was no use.

'What the heck?!' Max frowned and then grabbed Kevin with the other hand and tried to pull his hand out of his grasp.

'F*ck!'

He couldn't!!

What's with this absurd strength!!

"Good job, Kevin!!!" Axel cheered from the sidelines.

Max looked at Kevin. He could feel that he was using mana to enhance himself but that was totally normal in Mages. But the main point was, Kevin wasn't supposed to be this strong….

Max had always felt that something was odd about him, there were times when he showed a sudden burst of power….until now Max had no way of knowing what it was but today he might be able to find something….

"Domain!"

Max muttered and the next instant, he immediately isolated Kevin from the mana around.

It took only a few seconds and the mana inside Kevin's body was quickly drained. It seemed the strength was really costing him a lot of energy….He was only around the mid-stage of Low Tier, his mana reserve wasn't so big….

Kevin's grip finally weakened and Max easily pulled his hand out.

One thing was for sure now, this guy was not normal. There was something different about him from the rest....he might be some with different genes but Max wasn't sure as he couldn't sense any high grade energy from him....

'I should ask Bahamut. Kevin is from Zen House after all...he should know something…' Max thought before looking at Axel. "See you later…"

"Now...now….why are you in such a hurry?"

The voice sent chills down Max's spine.

He slowly turned his head to see a figure descending from the sky and it was indeed the one they were afraid to meet…

It was the headmaster!!

Max looked at the terrace and the fire and lightning were gone.

"Bang!"

Something fell from the sky and landed right in front of them.

Axel gulped as he looked at Wilson and August lying there. It seemed they couldn't escape this time…

Well, it would have been a surprise if they could. The Headmaster was a Grandmaster Tier Mage now…. Last time they were lucky that the headmaster wasn't paying attention to them…

Max thought about running as he looked at headmaster but shook his head in the end.

He might end up like them...there was no way he could escape from a Grandmaster Tier Mage while standing right in front of him.

In the end, they were taken to the headmaster's office…

5 Hours later…..

"Finally…." Axel was exhausted when they walked out of the headmaster's cabin.

"Why in hell do I have to hear all that?" Max frowned as he looked at them.

"Don't be like that, we are friends…." Axel said he put his arms around Max's neck. "Besides, you didn't get any punishment since you are already serving one…"

Except for Max, the rest were punished with different social works in the Academy.

"Is he taking revenge for the bachelor incident? Almost made my ear bleed..." Wilson said with a frown.

"The two of you only woke up an hour ago...we were the ones who took it on for the whole five hours…." Axel glared at Wilson and August.

He was upset, the new action figures and the posters that he had brought were once again burnt to ashes.

"Well, it wasn't our fault. They were the one who started the fight with us…." August said with a calm tone.

Everybody exchanged glances and looked at Wilson.

He was the cause of the fight….

"Grr~"

A loud rumbling noise entered everyone's ears.

It was Kevin's stomach…

"I am hungry...shall we grab something to eat…"

"Yeah, let's go...these two will treat us today…" Axel nodded and decided that the treat was on Wilson and August.

"Everyone pays for themselves…..I don't have money for you people…" Wilson waved his hand.

"I will pay for Max…" August replied.

"These two…." A vein popped out on Axel's neck as he heard the two of them. He almost jumped at them but Max grabbed him, stopping another disaster from occurring.

"I am almost broke this month because of you two!!! I spent all my money on my important stuff and you two ruined it for the second time!!! You better pay for me!!!" Axel shouted in anger.

"Calm down….I will pay for you…" Max tried to calm him down and in the end managed to do so.

"Call Lear as well...he would nag that we didn't invite him…" Wilson said as he led the way with August. It looked like they were almost competing for the position.

«Where are you?» Max immediately sent him a message.

«Why? Anything serious?» A reply came.

«No...we are just about to hang out a bit with everyone...» Max replied.

«I am out on a mission...»

«Oh...it's fine then...» Max replied.

Max had asked Lear to take some quest and help Bahamut with developing the mercenary guild.

As they walked out of the headmaster's office, Axel took off his jacked put its hood on Wilson's head.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Everyone is looking for you, I don't want any other trouble….you walk in the middle...we will cover for you…" Axel replied.

"I am not afraid of them…" Wilosn replied without any hint of hesitation.

"But I am afraid of the headmaster…so put this on.." Axel insisted and rest cooperated as well.

The group managed to walk out of the campus without attracting much attention.

It was already dark outside and the street lights were on.

"Where should we go?" Axel asked as he looked at Kevin. The most knowledgeable one.

"I know one….I haven't tried the food yet. But it's apparently good…"

Since the expert decided to lead them, everyone had to take a step back….

A few minutes later….

The group sat in the restaurant with dark lines of their faces as they looked at Kevin who was nervous and avoiding their faces.

"What would you like to order, young master…" the waitress leaned towards Axel, showing off more than the eyes could meet.

Axel gulped as he took the card with shivering hands.

When he looked at the card, his eyes twitched…most of the things came along with a companion who would help them...

'What kind help do I need to eat?' Axel shook his head. If it was a place for toddlers, he could understand the help....but for them...he didn't have any idea...

Just what kind of f*cking place Kevin brought them to!!! Not to mention, it was a hell lot expensive…

The place seemed like a dinning version of the hostess bar...

"Let's get out of here…" Max said quietly as the waitress left.

"Yeah…." Wilson nodded as well.

"Wait!" Kevin suddenly spoke.

Everyone looked at him before exchanging glances. This guy seemed desperate…..

"Look Kevin...they just talk nicely because they get paid for it….don't waste your time here…" Max tried to convince him.

"No it's not that...it's just that we are already here…" Kevin said while fidgeting and finally gulped, ''And I heard that the food is really good…" His eyes were almost shining.

There was a thirst in Kevin's eyes only for food and nothing else.

"Come on your own later…I don't like this place..." Wilson replied with a frown.

"I don't think I can come alone…" Kevin looked at them. He didn't have guts to walk into this place all alone.

August took his seat and looked at Wilson, "Stop whining….go back if you don't want to eat…I don't want some guy with lack of control embarrassing us here…."

Max sat back onto his seat. If Kevin wanted to eat, then it was fine. It wasn't like he hadn't dealt with loose people before…

Axel looked at them and reluctantly sat back. He really wanted to leave….he wasn't good with this....

Wilson looked at them with a frown but in the end he sat back too with an unhappy face.
