Edwinson House, Capital.

"Ah...why does my head hurt?" A girl's voice rang in the dead silent room.

The girl lazily woke up and sat on the bed holding her head, she looked around to see the room in a messy state.

Her two friends were on the bed dozing off like pigs...

"Hmmn? Two? Weren't there three?" Lisa raised her fingers and began to count. It seemed her mind was still not in the right state which explained her doing something so idiotic.

"What are you doing?" At this moment Elly seemed to have woken up as well.

The two looked at each other and as a minute passed, things began to become clear.

"Where is Aria?" Elly suddenly asked as she got out of the bed and looked around.

Lisa too remembered the scene from earlier.

"Why? Why did she do that?" Lisa immediately got up to her feet? She had been the last to lose consciousness. She had clearly seen Aria sneak out through the window. But before she did, she had smiled and apologised to them before finally thanking them…..she had raised too many flags...it really sounded like a farewell scene….

That was the reason that Elly was panicking and Lisa was too starting to get worked up.

"Janet wake up!" Elly shook Janet who was still sleeping like there was no tomorrow. Since the effect of the drug had worn off. It was obvious she was just sleeping.

"Ahh!!" Janet woke up. She was startled and looked up not knowing what was going on.

"What's wrong?" She looked at Elly with wide eyes.

"Aria is gone….we need to search for her…" Elly explained the situation to her.

On the other side, Lisa was suddenly remembering that she should have been out with Max now.

Where was he?

Did he not know what happened?

Lisa shook her head, that wasn't possible. It was Max after all.

"I will get my father.." Janet suddenly got out of the bed.

As Janet and Elly were about to get out of the door, they suddenly felt a chill running down their spine.

A figure rushed out of Lisa's shadow and immediately stood in front of the door.

It's pitch black fur stood erect and a low purr coming from its mouth as it bared it shark canines was a clear sign of intimidation.

"W-What is this?" Janet immediately fell back on her butt clearly terrified of the creature.

Max had left Twice to stop them from doing anything stupid. And twice deemed this as something stupid. Since Max was already out there to help that person, these foolish people would only get in Max's way….

Elly immediately dragged Janet back with her. She didn't know where that thing came from but it was better to stay far away from it. Besides, it was only showing signs of intimidation….it was better not do anything to provoke it…

"Twice?" Lisa suddenly spoke looking at the familiar creature. She now knew that Max must have been here….

"What are you doing, Lisa? It's dangerous…" Elly grabbed Lisa's hand but her action only seemed to enrage Twice.

Lisa was Sera's friend and Max's as well.

"Calm down…. both of you…" Lisa raised both of her hands. One at her two friends and the other at Twice.

"Come here…'' She beckoned to Twice. She was familiar with him as she had seen him quite a few times.

"I know him...so calm down…" Lisa said to Elly and Janet as she patted Twice's forehead.

Elly seemed a bit better after seeing that. Her forehead was still covered in sweat though. On the other hand, Janet was even worse than before as Twice walked up to them. She was so scared that tears and snot had covered her face.

"Lisa, what's going on?" Elly asked in confusion.

"This beast belongs to Max…" Lisa replied. She didn't know what else to say.

"W-Why is it stopping us from getting help?" Janet seemed to have regained a bit of her composure.

"It's his order obviously….." Elly said with a frown. It was happening again. Even last time Max had stopped her from going out to help Lisa during the Shopping Mall incident back in Arcane.

And history was repeating itself again…..would she still have to wait and watch while her friend was out there in god knew what condition? Why was it always like this? Even from the very start...

"Is Max with you?"

Elly turned her to see Lisa sending a message through her transmitter. Unlike Lear she had money to afford it….

"Nope...I am rushing towards the place. Are you finally up? I heard that some crazy girls drugged you up…" a childish voice came through the transmitter.

"Is everything fine? What's going on?" Lisa asked in a worried tone. She could feel that Bahamut's voice didn't match his normal calm and cocky tone.

"Nope, nothing is fine. I heard you were at Max's home, right?"

"Yeah…" Lisa replied.

"Get the Lord out...he can probably deal with the situation…" Bahamut said with a serious tone.

Lisa didn't even need to know how bad things were at this point.

Bahamut had already called for backup using Uncle giant as his puppet. The Association should be informed soon as well.

But he didn't know if they could take on that person.

"I-I will get him…" Lisa fumbled but still managed to stay calm.

"Come with me, Twice…." Lisa beckoned to him. She knew that he was good at moving through shadows. Even with her half assed stealth, she could probably make it to the Lord's chamber without anyone noticing her.

It was obvious that the Lord wasn't a person you could just meet at any moment. But that wasn't the main reason for her to move without alerting anyone. It was obvious who was Max's enemy here. This was probably one of the best moments to take advantage of and she didn't want to alert them about the situation.

"Let me come with you…" Elly grabbed Lisa's hand who just calmly shook her head.

"I am just going to ask for help and return. This isn't the place for weak people like us to interfere. We will just be a burden…" Lisa's words were harsh truth. Ever since she had started her pursuit of strength, things had become clearer to her.

Elly looked at Lisa. Realisation had finally struck her…..

Weak?

Lisa was right…Elly wouldn't be this helpless if she wasn't so weak. But did she really need to rely on the power which even made her...…..

Elly's clear eyes turned murky for a moment as dark emotions began to swell up…

A scene flashed through her mind….

The words still remained clear in her mind…

'Monster!'

The fear in their eyes was something she would never forget.

"Elly...Elly!!"

Elly was pulled out from her thoughts as Janet shook her. She turned her head towards Janet only to see her with a worried look on her face.

Oraca Academy, Arcane Area.

The headmaster, William Kingsman, had finally finished his paper works. The All Academy competition had really fried his brains out making him work to death.

"I wonder if she is up?" He pulled his phone out and smiled looking at the picture of the girl which he seemed to have set as the background.

"Hmmn?" Suddenly he received a message from Murcas, he was the Mercenary who had taken the quest for Lisa's request back in Arcane.

«Check it out, I know you will like it. The girl resembles your cutie….have a good night…»

There was an emoji with a smirk below it along with a link.

William just clicked the link to see what this guy was up to now.

"Ahhh!!!" A girl's moan resounded through the room as William's face sank.

"Sizz!''

"Sizz!"

But at this moment, sizzling noises entered his ears and he immediately stepped aside with caution.

The next instant, a purple light flash in front of his eyes, as a figure shattered the window behind him and flew right by his side before crashing straight into the cupboard ahead.

William looked at the fellow who had destroyed his wardrobe. It was one of his own students.

Wilson laid upside down as he looked at the headmaster staring at him.

"Umn...do you mind holding yourself back for the night? I know it's tough being a bachelor but we are in trouble…." Wilson said as he got up onto his feet.

The headmaster looked at him in confusion unable to grasp his first few words.

"Ahhhh!!!!!"

When the loudest moan came out of his phone which seemed like a climax, the headmaster realised that the video was still being played on his phone…

"Crack!"

The next moment, the moans stopped at the phone shattered into pieces along with the headmaster's pride as a teacher.....
