"Where is he?" A young man asked as he swiftly moved through the structures as light continued to flash with each step he took.

"Young Lord, he should be reaching the inner area…" One of the youths from the branch family spoke.

Nathan frowned as he sped up, he remembered hearing an explosion which seems to have come from the same direction.

Within a few minutes, Nathan and the leading group of youths from the family arrived at the inner circle where Max had fought the middle-aged man.

"What in hell happened here?" Nathan said with a deep frown. There was a huge crater in the middle of the road and the area within a few meters of radius had turned black after being burnt. Head was still radiating from the crater.

He then looked at the people around and finally someone came out to speak.

"What happened here?" Nathan asked once again.

"T-That guy... he attacked an Elder...."

Everyone's eyes widened for a second. They knew that even the weakest Elder wasn't someone that anyone could mess with.

"Was he killed?" One of the youths couldn't help but blurt out.

"That Arrogant guy deserves it…"

"Not knowing one's limit…".

Nathan didn't pay heed to their murmuring and focused on the people around who had witnessed the things earlier. He could see the terrified and humiliated look on their faces.

"No! He isn't dead! The Elder is!"

The person finally couldn't hold it back and screamed in despair.

The laughter and murmuring all stopped and the place turned silent. Even the breathing of people stopped for a second. The terrifying scene from before was still clear in the people's minds here.

Nathan's eyes immediately flashed with rage. This had gone too far. He knew that his people had attacked him first but that guy dared to kill.

"Where is he?" Nathan asked but no one answered.

The situation was too chaotic for anybody to notice where Max went. Besides, no one dared to follow him after what he did.

"Split! Search for him! I would like to see just how strong he is today…." Nathan's voice resounded throughout the area. This wasn't just a matter of right and wrong now.

Nathan then sped up and went ahead to search as well. But the next few scenes made his blood boil. Traces of blood were everywhere, people were groaning in pain and he couldn't see the end no matter how far he went.

Just how many people did that guy bash today?

Wasn't he slapping the face of the entire house today? Why didn't anyone react even after he killed an Elder? Something seemed wrong….

Max closed his eyes as he gently hugged his little sister as her soft cries resounded in the room. Aria on the other hand stared at his face through his embrace. She could feel affection through his embrace. Even though it was not directed at her, she could still strongly feel it.

Elly was the first one to recover from her daze followed by Lisa. The first reaction of the two was to look at Janet whose eyes were almost popping out of her socket as she still couldn't accept the thing in front of her eyes.

Lisa shook Janet and she finally broke out of her daze.

"T-This...what's going on?" Janet asked nervously as she looked at Ellt and Lisa.

Lisa and Elly rolled their eyes at her. This girl….did she forget it was her family…

"How will we know?" Lisa replied as she glanced at Max a bit displeased. He knew so much about her sometimes even more than herself when it came to her power while she didn't even know anything about him...she didn't even know he had a sister.

"Why not ask him?" Elly said with a sigh as they looked at the trio who were still clinging tightly to each other.

When Lilly's cries finally turned down, Max brought his hand under her legs planning to lift her up. It was only then did Max realise that Aria was in his embrace as well. He could feel the soft sensation of her breast pressed against his chest. She was looking at him with a complicated look in her eyes.

"You want me to lift you too…" Max said with a teasing smile as he brought his arms under her legs and lifted both of them like a child in his two arms.

"Y-You!! What are you doing?!!!" Aria finally came to her senses as her face turned red.

Max smiled looking at her all flustered. Thinking about it, the longest interaction the two of them had were always related to such events.

Max wanted to tease her a bit more. But seeing that she continued to struggle fiercely with her eyes almost starting to tear up, Max didn't dare to take it any further and finally put her down.

Aria immediately took out her sword out and gripped the hilt as she glared at Max with teary eyes. She really would have pulled it out of her scabbard and slashed it at Max if he wasn't holding Lilly in her arms.

"Calm down….It was just a joke…'' Max said as he scratched his head and cursed himself for taking such unnecessary action.

Aria glared at him even more fiercely as she bit down on her lips.

"Why don't you two take a seat?" Elly said with a sigh looking at them.

"Calm down Aria, what is a little hug at this point?" Lisa looked at her with a teasing smile.

"Shut up!" Aria glared at her as her face turned even more red.

Elly wanted to interrupt and tell them truth about their misunderstanding but Lilly was here. Not to mention, what if Max heard that….what would he think about them….

"Young Miss, I am here to take you back. Just tell me when you are ready…" Max said with a smile as he turned and look at Aria, "You too….Young Miss's Friend…."

If a gaze could kill, Max would have been dead now.

'This is bad…' Max thought as he looked at her

'So, it's finally starting. You are finally going on the right path….'' Andirel's voice rang in Max's mind.

'Right path my ass….I know what you are thinking. But you won't succeed…' Mad replied.

'You are challenging a succubus in a battle of emotions…' Andriel's arrogant voice rang in Max's mind.

'Do you really think, I can't control myself? I know my limit...I just felt that it was a bit good to relax this way….so don't get your hopes up…'

'Let's see, I will definitely draw out that sadistic side of yours….if not, you will be….no...we will be in for big trouble when she awakens. If only I could have contracted you first.'

Max could feel that there was something behind those words but she was Andriel, there was no way he could get anything out of her unless she wanted to…

Obviously there was one thing which she would give easily, but Max didn't plan on asking it.

"Wait!"

When Max was going to stand in the corner, Janet suddenly stood up.

"Hmmn? Is there any problem?" Max asked.

His words made everyone speechless. How was there not any problem?

"Don't you have anything to say?" Janet asked with a complicated look as she looked at Lilly in her arms.

"Oh! Yeah, she is my sister…" Max said with a smile.

Everyone's face twitched.

This guy was being too casual!!!!
