The Ancient Genes Chapter 340

Recycling District, Capital.
A few minutes ago….
"Zap!"
Wilson moved leaving behind after images. His speed had improved by a drastic amount after the breakthrough.
The trident in his hands danced as he gently made a sweep at the guy in front.
Bayu controlled his aura and immediately used it as a medium of defense to block the attack before lashing out with several black whips forcing Wilson into a retreat.
The battle had continued for a while now, Wilsom even though seemed to be dominating him on the surface knew that things weren't what it seemed so….strangely, the injuries on his body had been accumulating….
"What's wrong kid? Did you finally decide to use your brain?" Bayu taunted as he looked at Wilson.
Wilson didn't reply but continued to gaze at him. He could sense that Bayu had changed or more like he wasn't even the same guy from before….
Wilson also continued to gaze in the direction which Max went towards from time to time. He had seen the giant creature and it seems that Bayu had recognised it as well letting out a hysterical laughter.
"It's no use looking towards that side. Even though I hate to admit, someone capable of breaking the Dimensional Law other than my Lord exists in this plane….."
Wilson didn't have any idea of what was going on…...it seems the world didn't work the way he thought it did until now….
"I doubt your friend would survive coming face to face with someone like that…. Even I am not willing to meet that person in this situation. After all…."
Suddenly Bayu looked at his hand as the black aura consumed it and the next instant, his hand began to change into that of a beast.
But as if something went wrong, Bayu's forearm popped like a balloon sending blood flying around.

"It seems I will be waiting for a while." Bayu muttered before looking towards Wilson, "Humans are weak creatures indeed and yet they dare to defy….you people really do interest me….."
"Weak? Doesn't that mean we just have room for development?" Wilson finally spoke.
"Hoho….now.. now…...how much of this is a coincidence…..your words sound very familiar to me...someone said those exact same words ages ago…"
"Let me ask then where does your potential end…"
Wilson suddenly felt a cold sensation on his forehead as drops of water began to fall from the sky. A smile lit up on his face as he looked at Bayu.
"End? That's hard to say…." Wilson replied as lightning began to sizzle as he continued, "For now, let's say it will end at you dead body…."
"Crackle!"
Wilson moved as those words left his mouth.
"Hahaha!!! Interesting…..show it to me then…" Bayu said with hysterical laughter as he raised his hand commanding the demonic aura.
Wilson smiled as he struck head on with the trident.
"Discharge!''
With that the trident immediately bolted out into several thin purple bolts. The bolts travelled like snakes and with water around, the consequences were pretty imaginable.
Bayu who already engaged on offense couldn't retract his aura back in time and the bolt of lightning struck him.
"Zap!!"
Wilson smiled but suddenly the demonic aura he had been holding onto moved and he immediately pulled back.
Bayu's who's body had been fried and releasing smoke suddenly moved...
"You certainly got me around this time kid….but it seems time is up...I would definitely have liked to kill you but you are interesting….let's have this settled another day…" Bayu said with a smile as if the severe burns and the blood flowing out of his body weren't his at all.

He had noticed a few people closing in and they seem to be taking this specific route. He didn't want to engage anyone anymore.
Wilson frowned, but he was sure that he didn't plan on letting him go.
Bayu suddenly raised his hand much to Wilson's surprise, he struck the ground.
"Crack!"
The ground immediately gave in creating a hole, it seemed the sewer passed beneath making it vulnerable.
"Well then, you are free to follow me…"
Bayu said as he jumped into the hole planning to make the escape. After all, even if he was confident on winning. He didn't have confidence in overpowering him. Besides, he already took a blow.
Still, if Wilson followed him he wouldn't mind taking this somewhere else and killing the kid....to bury the hatchet of the shameful occurrence as he was sure that Max on that side would be dead.
Wilson looked at him and immediately decided to give a chase but the next thing that happened made his eyes wide open.
"You f*cking ba*stard!!! Don't go collapsing the ceiling on people's heads!!!"
With that a loud thud echoed in the sewers as Bayu flew out of the hole in the ground with blood flowing out of his broken nose.
Wilson looked at the hole as a guy climbed out of it clutching his head which seemed to have a swollen bump on it. Anger was clearly written on his face as the guy muttered, "Injury is still forgivable but my hairs are not….he clearly broke a few strings…."
Yes, he was the hair lover, Lear.
"Hmm…" Lear suddenly turned towards Wilson noticing his gaze.
Let's be honest, hair was definitely one of the most important things but he also took action feeling the demonic aura which led him to believe that Max should be around here as well.
Wilson and Lear continued to stare at each as both felt the other to be familiar.
'I don't know why….but I want to beat him for some reason….'
Both Wilson and Lear thought simultaneously.
They didn't seem to remember the event from years ago….but it seemed that their mutual feelings had managed to reciprocate after seeing each other again.
They were truly a match made in heaven...
Wilson clearly wasn't the one to show facade, he won't go looking for trouble but he wouldn't try to avoid one.
Lear was the polar opposite, a master in faking....he would try to avoid every problem but still end up finding one.
"You know Max, right? Is he here…." Lear spoke, he finally recognised him as one of the guys who had fought for Max.
He had to ask that question because Max wasn't responding to his messages. This was a cause of worry and that's why he seemed to have lost focus for a moment and ended up taking the ceiling to his head.
"Who are you?" Wilson didn't know him, so it was obvious that he wouldn't trust him and give out any information easily.
"I-"
Lear moved and dodged the incoming attack letting go off the introduction he planned to give. It seemed he would have to save it for another time....
"Humans….if you want to die so bad….I will grant you death…."
Bayu or should we say the Heavenly Commander... had finally snapped. Getting his nose broken by a here human kid and that too when he tried to escape….this was too embarrassing even for him to accept….
