"Crash"
Lithiya rushed into the living room hearing the noise only to see the television on the ground broken apart and her husband standing near it.
"Honey, what happened? Why are you here?" Lithiya asked as she looked at the scene, Zack should have departed for a mission today.
"I came to get something but accidentally bumped into the table…" Zack replied as he looked at her. "I will ask Phil to replace it…."
Zack said as he turned around to leave.
"Take care then…" Lithia said as she looked at his back feeling a bit odd.
….
As Zack got out of the room, his face immediately turned dark.
"Phil!" He called out and a person appeared beside him.
"Yes Master…."
"Make sure that she doesn't get to see it….remove that channel from every television in the mansion. And contact the Broadcaster to take the down video…" Zack said as he hurried out of the place.
He finally found Max but in a situation which he hadn't wished for. Just what in the hell happened?
'Max be safe...' Zack thought as he hurried towards the Academy.
He was afraid, really afraid. He knew that Max didn't have that kind of ability. But he knew that it was his son. There was no way he wouldn't recognize his son. Max had changed a lot and Zack just couldn't understand what Max had gone through to have become like that.
He hoped that the source of Max's power was from a late awakening. A very rare case. Because the only other possibility to gain power, which had been recently emerging throughout the continent was something very sinister. The cause was still unknown and in search. But it was sure that this power was not the one to be looked favorably upon.
'In case, it really is the second one….Max will be in danger….I need to get him first….' Zack's face had turned ugly on this thought and he pushed himself towards the capital.

As for the matter of Victor, Zack didn't even give it a thought. He didn't care as long as his son was fine.
…
"So, you two are finally showing your true colors since no one is paying attention?" Alen asked as he looked at Kain and Werner.
"Don't make things worse than they already are. We need to end it here." Kain said with a calm look.
"Oh? Is it? Then I shall grant you your wish….and end it here…" Alen said with an evil smile.
"You don't have any reason to take his side…..do you really wanna take things this way?" Kain said as he glared at him. He was starting to get pissed. The situation would have calmed down by now if this guy had not intervened.
Alen turned his head and looked towards Max, "What's your name?"
"Max...Max Arkansas.." Max replied.
"I am Alen Blackwood. If you don't mind, I woul like to invite you for some private talk…." Alen said as he extended his hand.
"Yeah sure…." Max grabbed his hand and shook it.
Werner frowned seeing the situation. It seems that the guy beat him to it.
"Now then, you really want to mess with my guest?" Alen asked as he looked at the duo.
"I see…. You don't intend to back down….fine…" Kain said as a dangerous aura began to leak out of him. It was like a sword being pulled out of its sheath.
"Rubble!" Kain muttered and the ground cracked.
Max and Alen moved and the next instant and land below exploded.
'It's destruction after all…' Max thought after having carefully observed the attack.
"Whoosh!''
Max's eyes turned grim as he brought his arms forward to defend.
"Bang!"
Werner's kick landed right on Max's block and send him flying away.
'Hmm? He blocked it…' Werner looked at Max in surprise. He was sure that he was being serious just now. Since, the poison dude had already extended a hand towards him, he had lost the initiative. He might as well spoil it for him.

Max got up from the rubber feeling the pain in hands, he slowly looked towards them and felt an energy inside his hand eating his body away.
'What is this?' Max frowned and directed the spirit energy towards it and to his surprise, the energy fought back but being lacking in quantity, it couldn't endure the continuous attack of spirit energy and in the end was swallowed by it.
'Don't tell me….is it on the same level as spirit energy?' Max looked at Werner. He was curios, but he knew that they still lacked knowledge on demons.
'Just what is this strange energy? It felt different from demonic aura…'
"Do you really have the liberty to be thinking in a battle?'' Werner's voice sounded in Max's ear and Max tilted his head dodging the attack as he threw a punch.
"Bang!"
''As long as you continue to hold back, I think I do have the liberty…'' Max looked at Werner who had caught onto his fist blocking the attack.
…
On the other side, Kain raised his hand and released another destructive blow.
"Poison Clown!!"
Alen's body suddenly emerged from the dust and he wasn't alone, there were four more doppelgangers of him rushing towards Kain.
Kain didn't budge at all, he suddenly raised his hand and threw out a fist as all the five Alen pounced onto him.
"War God's Fist!"
"Whoosh!"
A wave passed along with the fist and all five busted apart spilling juices all around.
None was real...
Kain immediately erected his man barrier protecting himself from the poison which was raining down on him.
"Whoosh!"
Suddenly, Alen appeared behind him and Kain immediately turned around moving to the counter.
"Znnm!"
Suddenly, something strange occurred. The entire battlefield turned silent. Most people around lost consciousness leaving only a few standing behind.
Kain and Alen immediately parted away looking at each other with a wary look as sweat rolled down their forehead.
They just couldn't believe what had happened, the supply of mana was cut off and even the one within their body was pulled out to a certain extent.. The ones with the lower reserves must have passed out from mana deficiency.
This was terrible, it might even lead to mana deviation and could turn serious.
Both of them decided against the battle. It was better not dig their own graves.
On the other hand, Erina supported Wilson who was in worse condition than her. He had activated his true spell after all.
Nathan was standing on his feet as well. But sweat was rolling down his forehead as well.
Max and Werner looked at each other. They could feel the mana seemed to have disappeared from the surrounding.
'It's better not to fight using any element….it will put me in a weird light….' Max said as he raised his hands into a fist.
Werner seemed to be thinking the same way.
"Tap!"
"Tap!"
But Max suddenly turned his head hearing the footsteps and saw Nathan walking towards him. If he really thought he could beat Max in terms of physique alone, he was in for trouble.
"Enough!"
A voice reverberated around the arena and Max turned his head to see Argus standing in the lobby looking down at them.
…..
On the other side, Axel fell to the floor after making the shot, his veins had busted apart and blood had started to run down his body drenching his clothes all.
"You b*strad, I thought you weren't going to die…." Lear asked with a worried face.
"It was a success…" Axel said in relief.
"What so you mean success?!! You call it a success?!" Lear asked in anger.
"Idiot...Get him treated before he dies..." Tyler said with a frown as he looked at them.

Steamforged Sorcery [A Steampunk LitRPG]
This is a fantasy story in a steampunk setting, not a sci-fi. The Great War ravaged the face of the earth many years ago. In the years that passed, the world rebuilt, mixing machinery and magic to form something new. Great blimps took to the sky, belching steam and smoke as metal cities sprouted like weeds below. Angel, a talented mage, scours the desert endlessly in search of lost knowledge. When it unexpectedly falls into his hands, he quickly comes to realize that the world is far larger – and far more deadly – than he ever could have predicted. But no amount of danger is going to keep Angel from seeking out greater strength and traveling the world, claiming all the greatest treasure that it has to offer. To most, the desert is a dangerous threat to be feared. To Angel, it’s a land of opportunity, waiting to be exploited. Steamforged Sorcery is, as the title suggests, a LitRPG Steampunk story with heavy focus on magic and scenery. The main character starts out relatively strong (but far from overpowered) but will eventually grow in strength to incredible levels. It is moderately paced and does not progress at ridiculous speeds. Release Schedule: 1,500 words daily Monday-Friday

Understanding a cultivation world
A modern man armed with having read a few novels about cultivation is suddenly transmigrated to a cultivation world. He fights to both survive and thrive in this new archaic world full of arrogant young masters, demonic sects, and incredibly hostile wildlife. Note: In this story, I wanted to focus a lot more on what most novels skim past in regards to cultivation, namely the whole, spiritual growth aspect that seems to be entirely absent from the prosses of obtaining enlightenment the majority of the time, but the method of gaining cultivation. how it works, and what kind of world would develop around it are all things I wish to explore in this novel.
