Darryl's words were outrageous and all that Xhemin could do was closed her eyes a bit to control her irritation and self-shame. "You don't mean that," There was some hurt in Darryl's hazel eyes as he refused to believe his wife's words, "I don't know why you are doing this babba, but I know you are lying. I don't know why you are doing this but last night…last night proves you don't mean all this,"

"I don't know what things had gotten into you but I am very sure not one amongst my family wanted our son dead," Darryl defended, very sure of it because he was certain that if someone from his family knew of his son, they would very much want him to live especially with the fact that they were having problems bearing children. "I just hoped so because if ever they are, I can never forgive myself for having been involved with you," Xhemin said bitterly. She looked at Darryl for few minutes before she walked out, leaving him too mad to chase her. She left the loch at that very morning with nothing but bitterness, hurt and a severe headache.
