"According to a reliable source, the wedding will be officially announced at the designation day where Miss Collet Chan will officially become the CEO of Chans Group of Companies," Dannah read the article on the gossip news out loud while Darryl was trying out a suit for the designation party.

"Seriously Dee? How long are you going to tolerate this?" Dannah nagged, confronting Darryl on his silence over the issue. "Don't tell me she's going to really become my sister-in-law at the end of the day?"

"Why? Don't tell me you are afraid of her?" Darryl stood in his back straight, allowing the seamstress to take his body measurement freely. He had seen the available suits on display but didn't get to like one, so the store decided to make one for him.

"Na-ah," Dannah shook her head, "But I never find her more annoying till recently. No wonder CGC is loathing her, she's just no leader for me,"

"Dannah, Collet is having a hard time these days, just try to understand her," Darryl tell off. His younger sister told her about what happened in the production site and how Collet acted up.

"Whew? Where are all these cares coming from?" She mocked at her brother mercilessly, "And by the way, a girl who goes shopping almost everyday with friends while her father is sick doesn't look like someone who is having a hard time for me,"

"Just give her a break," Darryl told, "That's all we can do for her provided the situation,"

"Give her a break? Did she even give us a break with all these gossips? If I know she's the one who paid these! Is she out of her mind? Where did she even get the idea that you are marrying her? Did you perhaps —without my knowing said yes to her?" Dannah was losing it. With the nonstop gossips about Darryl and Collet, she's ultimately annoyed with the CGC heir.

"I told her I'm going to help her," Darryl said nonchalantly, more interested on making the seamstress job convenient than the conversation at hand.

"I never imagined that the CGC heir is an idiot, CGC is doomed!" Dannah shook her head at thought of Collet misinterpreting everything.

"It was probably the adults who spread the gossips," Darryl swayed her sister's judgement, "Don't blame it all to her,"

"You defending Collet is creeping me out, seriously Darryl Lemmuel, I wouldn't be surprised if you are marrying her one of these days," Dannah's hand was on her chest when she said this and her eyes were full of disgust.

"I'm just being considerate. I told her I'll help her and so I am," Darryl explained. "I'm just trying to be a decent human being,"

Dannah quieted at her brother's last statement. She knew about their own mother's recent remarks about him "You are a decent human being, mother is just upset but she didn't know the whole story just like how I know everything,"

"But somehow she's right," Darryl's tone was hard and dry and Dannah knew that he was greatly affected by their mother's words.

"Okay fine, I'm not going to argue with that anymore," She retreated knowing that Darryl finally made up his mind to help Collet for the sake of their mother's request, "So tell me what's with all this Collet being your bride drama,"

"As I said I'm helping her," He repeated without an inch of emotion in his eyes.

"Helping her through marriage let me guess," Dannah rolled an eye at this.

"Helping her become the CEO by letting her ride on my name as my soon to be wife. There's no harm in that actually so just let her be," Darryl explained thoroughly. After their conversation with his mother, Darryl had someone checked what's going on inside CGC and knew about how Collet was struggling getting an approval as CEO because many were trying to covet such position.

"She's already the CEO. They had chosen her already because of you so I don't see any reason why you are still tolerating this illusion of her. God Dee! You are just going to give her a real heartbreak in the future," Dannah snapped again in another loud voice.

"By then she's already the CEO, so the heartbreak wouldn't that hard," Darryl rebutted.

"Gosh! do you even have an idea how a heartbreak can crush a woman?" Dannah didn't expect such a response from Darryl.

"I thought you were on my side," Darryl turned to look at her for a second "And for the record, I didn't tell her I'm going to marry her,"

"Fine. So, since Collet is already the CEO, we should all stop this drama okay?" She suggested.

"No. Let's wait until the internal issues in CGC will be stable,"

"With her kind of character, I'm afraid the internal issues at CGC wouldn't be stable, you'll end up on the wedding day," Dannah commented.

"Then let's cancel it at the wedding day,"

Dannah's eyes budged out with this unexpected response. Even though she didn't like Collet, she of course was a girl who knew everything about a heartbreak and wouldn't wish for someone to suffer the same, "Your far from being a decent human being, in this case I'm going to agree with mother!"

Probably tired of her nagging, Darryl find ways to shoo her off, "Why don't you go and try out a dress for yourself,"

"I am not interested with the designation party whatsoever," Dannah blurted without interest, "I can't stand that spoiled brat bride of yours,"

"You are going to attend it whether you like it or not,"

"Gosh! It's only a designation party why is everybody making a fuss about it! I don't see why such a designation party is so grand when they are just going to welcome a lame CEO!"

"Dannah!" Darryl hazel eyes were already like a beast.

"Fine, I'm gonna go and try one!" Dannah settled and left immediately knowing that Darryl was losing his patience.
