《The Genius’ First Love》The Genius' First Love

Sam was right.
The girls in the academy were indeed scheming against her. In her invitation, it shows there that she need to wear only casual attire to the party, but the truth was that, it was a very formal event that requires a total dress up. Few meters from the entrance, Sam saw how her classmates head to the entrance way with their long gowns and dashing tuxedos.
Earlier when she learned about their dirty tricks which only took her little effort to discover, she thought of not showing up. However, aside from she was bored at home since the youngest sire was again having overnights at his laboratory room, she thought of giving in with the 'mean girls' dirty schemes. But of course, she won't fall into prey.
Adeline specifically told the usherette on the main entrance to inform her when Sam arrives. She planned to announce Sam's entrance and so everyone will saw how she will show up with her ragged casual clothes that their commoner classmate must have only brought from a thrift shop.
Few days ago, when Sam showed up at their school bragging about being Ziggorioh Montreal's woman, she saw how her cousin Sabina felt wronged. Everyone talked about it and compared Sabina to this little wrench who in reality was only an employee of the youngest sire. This assuming woman must have thought she could seduce the youngest sire with her charms and replaced Sabina. Well, that will not happen under her care. As the student president, she ought to protect the reputation of those who truly belonged to their academy.
"Miss President, the new student had arrived," The usherette whispered onto her ears as she sat at the long table meant for the most prominent students. Almost everyone was here as the party was to start few minutes early than what she indicated on Sam's invitation. And as she expected, Sam came in later as she anticipated.

With that, Adeline stood up and rang her glimmering wine glass with the spoon on her hand to get everyone's attention and just a second of ringing, all eyes were on hers.
"As everyone probably know" She started with her well dignified voice. Sabina and her friends of course giggled knowing what was about to unfold. Of course the innocent Sam would walk straight into the entrance head high in her casual attire and they could already imagine the look upon her face when she'll realized that all girls were wearing long gowns. They all took their phone and set it to record Sam's entrance at the door.
"We have a new classmate in this exclusive academy of ours. Everyone, I introduced to you…Sam from the business class" Adeline then cued to have the usherettes open the door and reveal the woman standing at the front door. Their expectation didn't fail them, as when the door opened, Sam walked through. However, everyone's jaw dropped including those of Sabina's and her cronies as they didn't expect the scene that flashed before them.
Sam glided in in her long red gown and shockingly high stilettoes that was peeping though the slit on the right side of her gown also revealing her long pretty snow-like legs. The red suited her pretty well as her personality breathed out like fire as she dashed in that Sabina almost dropped her phone as if the metal cover had burned her fingers out from shock. She spent tremendous effort and money on her appearance today only to end up as nothing compared to the glory of Sam whose beauty mesmerized everyone.
"Keep straight.." Adeline whispered to her and supported her elbow as Sabina almost lost her balance. Now that Sam evaded her scheme and showed up as complete opposite as what she expected, then everyone will probably continue to mock her and question whether she was still the youngest sire's woman.

"..The night is still long. We can still turn the plates to our side" Adeline assured her hoping to calm her cousin's rising panic.
"Are you okay Miss Sabina?" Sam turned her head to the girl whose face suddenly turned pale.
"She's fine," Adeline answered for her and faked a smile at the new comer. "It's good that you had made it"
"Yes, It's good that I had made it," Sam repeated her statement and threw it back to her "I'm sorry I came too overly dressed for a casual event"
"Oh yes about the invitation," Adeline opened up right away "There were some sudden changes and I was about to inform you but I forgot to ask your contact number"
"I don't give contact numbers to fake people…." Sam echoed in a loud voice heightening more on her last two words "… ooops… I mean I don't give contact details to strangers but I'm sure as the student president you could have easily asked the administration for it…"
"…I'm really sorry. I was soo busy I had forgot about it. It was an honest mistake, you won't take it against me right?" Adeline acted pitiful with expertise.
"Sure I don't" Sam simply answered as she smiled with mockery.
"Why don't you sit with us" Adeline invited Sam to their table with the intention of scheming further at her "This table was supposed only to the most prominent students but as some sort of apology to you, I want to make up by inviting you to this privileged table"
"Okay. I'm easy to persuade actually," Sam told her and as Adeline thought she had evaded her little tricks, the Lagdameo's third miss spoke again "By the way, you don't mind pulling up a chair for me in here don't you?"
Sam's request almost made Adeline lost her cool. How dare this new comer treat her like a waiter by letting her pull a chair for her at the table in front of everyone?
Who does she think she was?
However, everyone's eyes were on them and Adeline was sure everyone must have heard their conversation. It would rather be too impolite for her to refuse a simple request from someone she invited voluntarily.
Swallowing her pride to put up a good morale and face, Adeline was forced to pull a chair to Sam as if she was a waiter on a restaurant.
