"One more step and I'll have you fired"

The icy voice sent chills to everyone's spine. Out from nowhere, Darryl emerged with his usual companions. ​​

He stood there— quiet, graceful, fierce and everyone cowered at the sight of him.

Suddenly, his beastly king like aura filled the place that both intimidated and feared everyone. Even the laborers and riders who were there withdrew one step back but didn't dare to leave the field because they were afraid, they might look disrespectful to him.

"Young Master!" The stable master blurted out and the look of horror on his face would have been comical to Xhemin's eyes if she wasn't so damned anxious about the beast's sudden entrance.

"Young master…good day!" Doctor Piper went to approach the boy as if she was all alone innocent and started prattling on. Knowing that the young master will certainly be furious to see Dr. Cyan's assistant riding his horse, she instantly grabbed the opportunity to her side.

"Young master, please forgive Dr. Cyan and this little girl, I'll make sure this matter will be handled correctly. I will call Dr. Halsley—"

Piper halted midway because when she glanced up at him, she caught the smoldering look in his hazel eyes and the grim of his mouth told her he wasn't at all impressed with her so with whatever business she had to offer. Piper gulped and had her mouth dried up under Darryl's fiery gaze that sent horrors of hell down to her own soul.

Darryl's frigid outpouring aura halted all her plans and schemes. She back out in fear as Darryl passed to her and strode to the stable master's direction as if the boy was taking so much effort to put as much distance between him and her.

"Stable master, what's this chaos all about?" Manager Song glared at the man whose knees shook so badly they were practically knocking together, and his teeth were rattling in her head. Just in a minute and his tensed-up knees brought him kneeling to the ground.

Those who were around saw how the stable master dropped when the Lagdameo heir advanced toward him and they too shook in fear. The Lagdameo heir sure had a very beastly king like aura that surprises and fears at once.

"I am very sorry to have displeased you, young master. I know I am in charge of the barn and your horse is off limits to everyone. This is just a mistake. I will make sure that culprit will be punished severely" The stable master begged thoroughly. Knowing how the beast didn't want anyone to get a hold of his horse, he knew how ill his situation was at the moment.

Darryl's reaction to his cryptic statement was dreadful. He looked at the stable master with a fiery gaze and the latter refused to meet his eyes.

"I will remedy the situation immediately!" He bubbled out loud and tried so hard to stand on his knees to move toward the horse with the intention of grabbing the girl out of the horseback instantaneously.

But even before he could do so, the horse acted claustrophobic and reared backwards on its hind legs.

"N-E-I-G-H-!"

The horse' sudden wildness surprised Xhemin who was still riding at its back. The girl instantly kept her weight well forward, so was her balance as she urged the horse to put his feet back on the ground.

Smoothly, she moved her legs back, her hand and upper body straightforward encouraging the horse to return to earth. She fought hard not to touch the reins again until the horse was firmly back on its feet, afraid the horse might outbalance itself.

However, even though Xhemin successful kept herself up, the horse' sudden charge sent and knocked off the stable master back to the ground—hard and loud!

"Easy easy boy!" Dr. Cyan shouted in the middle of the upheaval and found his way towards the horse and its rider. The moment the horse steadied, he held on to the rope and stroke the horse nape to ease its tensing nerves. In a minute the doctor turned to looked at the girl and saw the anxiety in her eyes.

Unknown to him, the girl's apprehension was because of Darryl's presence and not because of her supposed scrape in riding the forbidden horse. However, the thought of the girl being scared made Dr. Cyan felt guilty—guilty for bringing the girl to the mansion, for making her undergo all of Piper's Xu's ordeal and now this.

He held a deep sigh and dared to face Darryl whose eyes were digging on the girl.

The doctor bowed to the Lagdameo heir and politely apologized. "Young master, the girl is my assistant and her mistake is my mistake too. I should be the one to be punished. Please let the girl go"

Darryl didn't say a word but just continued to stare at the girl who seemed to have enjoyed herself at the back of his horse. His angry facade turned into something else in a minute and that didn't go unnoticed to everyone in the field as he was the center of all their attention.

His mood changed but his aura didn't abase even a bit and the people who witnessed it feared him even more. Who knew what's going on at the back of his mind?

Darryl had everyone sweating and shaking.

Everyone was thinking that even the stable master was not spared, so the girl will surely have the worst consequences than the stable master had.

Dr. Cyan who was aware of the tension was determined to save the girl no matter what it would cost him. So even before he would loss himself completely to fear, he must made sure the girl will be safe, so he turned to her and ask her to mount down.

He knew the famous Lagdameo heir will not spare the girl or even he himself, but he was ready to fight back at anyone for the little missus' safety even if it would mean kissing any future of him in this facility goodbye. He allowed himself a moment's regret before clearing his throat and rescuing the girl.

"C'mon now Little girl" he said addressing her as a girl rather than a missus. He was about to grab the girl's waist to help her unmount faster and planned to dismiss her completely away from the young master's sight. However, even before his hand completely touched any part of her, the heir suddenly spoke.

"Do not touch her!" Darryl surprise everyone again by snapping out the command.
