Omni-Mastery Chapter 409

The 24 hours given to me at the system space every time I clear a stage or leave a domain were undoubtedly a very precious gift that had many beneficiary uses, including isolation requiring procedures, buying stuff at the system shop, and even pure luxury, but the main use that shone the most was training!
All kinds of training usually require special environments, some would even argue that they would do well at something if it was done at the right place with the correct factors, and while that is not completely true, this whole 'right place, right factors' theory does indeed have some points to prove.
As such, it's true that there is no better place to train than a stage that's almost completely under your control, especially doing something completely new like flying or 'Elemental Control', however, even though I put most of the time that I had in the system into training on my mental schedule, I didn't proceed training from the start for a very good reason… stat point allocation!
When playing normal computer games, or VR games that I was familiar with before my entrance to the Lost Realm, stat point allocation was simply nothing but adding number to number which produce higher damage or higher defense and so on, but that wasn't the case at all in the Lost Realm.
Every single point added to any stat was most certainly effective as well as disruptive. If one usually went to the gym to train, the process is undeniably done in steps, one would never feel the strength difference unless they compared with a huge time gap in the middle, but using stat points to increase strength was nothing like that at all!
After the conversion is done by the system on essence to be turned into stat points with leveling or simply being given stat points as quest rewards, the free stat points are completely capable of inducing a complete body change if the correct amount is added, making it hard to get used to the change easily.

At the very beginning of my time in the Lost Realm, stat point allocation was done by steps and the strength didn't rise immediately, but soon enough, I myself added an enchantment to my ring to allow immediate synchronization of stat addition and endured the pain and the uncomfortableness that came with it for the sake of results…
Of course, to me now and my 'Immunity' skill, the side effect of pain was no longer effective, nor was the enchantment was even needed any longer as my body could do that on its own, which seemed to be due to the fact it could easily handle the change unlike my fragile body at the start, yet still, the uncomfortableness stayed.
The answer to fixing that problem is also the same answer to what's the best practice that could be done within the system space, training!
Even just a few seconds ago when I was doing flying training, the surprise stat increment caused by the evolution caused me to lack a bit of control an ability to use my stats to the best of their true potential and I had my own plans to increase these stats once more, so it was only fair to start by stat allocation before doing all types of training that I need to do so I could get used to my stats fairly well enough before I left the system space. The last problem I would want to do was to mess up things due to lack of strength control…
'Unified addition it is…'
It only took a few seconds to look again at my status panel to figure out how I want to distribute my unallocated stat points, all thanks to the little push given to me by the evolution effects!
Originally, it was somewhat impossible to reach the collective target that I had in mind even with the great amount of stat points I got from the main quest, especially after I had to spend 3 points into Wisdom, but the evolution definitely happened at a great time!

'Nothing…?'
Although it was unexpected that the usual title evolution had totally changed the title's name, as the notifs were the same as usual, I was only surprised by the lack of 'limit-breaking' ability unlocking…
Most of my stats had already received such an ability, including Wisdom which managed to have its ability evolve even further, yet both Strength and Agility still didn't receive one, and while Strength did make sense as one of the easiest stats to raise, Agility wasn't similar, which made it even more confusing.
Though I could simply try using the rest of my points to add a 5 to either of them and see if that changes anything, I had already gone a bit too far from my original stats and I had no urgent need to get an ability nor a guarantee that I would even get one, so it was better to get used to them first before further addition, especially since I might need the points for something else later…
However, as I decided to check the brand new-named title as a way to put my previous confusion aside, things only got even more confusing…

Conquest Of Mortem
*NOTE* This novel is a war of attrition. To say anything less is a disservice to its demand. While comparable to other such works as Ulysses or Moby Dick, each sentence in Conquest is an enemy to be tackled. Not in the ways of difficulty but in absurd density that wishes nothing more than to destroy what patience you may have. Do not tackle chapters as you would ordinary chapters in an ordinary book. Tackle each chapter as a book unto itself. A foe to be vanquished, a period of life to leave behind. Seek to be master of this work. Seek to overcome. For in its design is the willpower, and the perseverance, and the strength of someone who sought meaning in struggle. As I discovered these in times of ultimate desperation, so I hope for you to discover these things. This novel is a love letter to your trials. May you overcome them. May you master them. May you become conquerer.- SeedSagaA literary epic for logophiles, philosophers, and poets alike. A journey into zeitgeist, the impact of media on culture, and the endurance of morality against an onslaught of hatred. These vague descriptions do little to compact Conquest's density into a bite-size summary. They do however relate the basest themes found within. A plot, if such can be surmised, is strung thinly across multiple perspectives, weaving together these concepts into a seemingly distorted tapestry of indecipherable events. Inspired by early 20th century modernism, Conquest will challenge the reader, and provide critique on the medium upon which all great stories are derived. Further interpretation is up to you now; an explorer among a sea of words. Venture on and discover what lies ahead, in...CONQUEST OF MORTEM
