The man's scream of pain pierced through Li Ran's eardrums, all the way to the depths of her brain.

There were zombies who were slowly walking towards them.

They came through the back door while more were coming from the front door.

Li Ran dug her nails into her flesh. She was trying to come up with a plan. Maybe if she acted as bait, she could lure the zombies away. It would give Cui Chong an opportunity to run away. After that, she could just hide in the mysterious space.

'It will work.'

Just as Li Ran was about to say something...

She was suddenly pushed. Her body hit one of the shelves. The loud noise attracted the zombies. They were now all rushing towards her.

Li Ran fell to the ground. She did not have time to run away.
