Li Ran was confused.

She looked at Cui Chong warily.

Cui Chong did not mind it. He looked around and saw a rope in the distance.

"Can I trouble you to bring the rope over?" he asked with a smile.

Li Ran composed herself and did as she was told.

After handing the rope over, Cui Chong skillfully tied up the man. He threw him to the side without batting an eye.

The man was shouting angrily but Cui Chong did not care.

"Hello, my name is Cui Chong. I came with your husband's group. He's looking for you somewhere else. We can just go back to the car and wait there," Cui Chong said gently.

Li Ran lowered her guard after hearing Cui Chong's mellow voice and words. She could feel that he did not have any ill intentions toward her.

It should be alright to follow him.

Li Ran nodded and thanked him.

"Thank you. You teamed up with them?"

"I was rescued by them. There were a total of six people besides me. A middle-aged couple, a little boy, a huge man, and two more men."

Cui Chong was aware that Li Ran was still wary of him, so he immediately told her everything.

Hearing what he said, Li Ran immediately asked, "The couple, was one of them a man wearing glasses and had a buzz cut? What about the woman?"

"The woman was wearing a skirt and had an oval-shaped face. She looked well-maintained. There were not many wrinkles on her face. She looked quite young but the skirt really does not suit her."

She chuckled after hearing what Cui Chong said.

"You think so?"

Cui Chong's smile widened when he saw that Li Ran was more relaxed.

She nodded, "I'm sorry I was wary of you."

"No big deal. After all, your husband saved my life. You know, the other person has a gun and he's really handsome."

Li Ran was thrilled.

Cui Chong then grabbed the man on the ground. He glanced at him and said, "Good luck surviving on your own."

Li Ran and Cui Chong left.

'I will finally meet my husband!'

"Wait! Don't go! There are zombies here! No! No! No!"

The man who was tied up looked horrified. Something was coming!

A zombie walked closer and closer to him.

Then, another came along!

Li Ran managed to catch a glimpse of the zombies. Her eyes widened. She clenched her fists and said, "There's a back door! Let's get out of here!"

Cui Chong narrowed his eyes and said calmly, "Don't worry. It's just a few zombies. There's nothing to be afraid of."

After saying that, he grabbed Li Ran's arm and the both of them immediately ran towards the back door.

The screams of the tied-up man could be heard, "Untie me! They're coming! Hey! Don't leave me!"

Li Ran gritted her teeth. Was she really going to let someone die?

"How about we untie him?"

"Are you crazy? We won't be able to outrun the zombies. If we go back there, we're doomed."

Cui Chong said assertively.

He noticed that Li Ran was hesitating and pulled her arm even harder.

Li Ran took a deep breath and asked, "We will definitely be able to escape, right?"

"Of course."

Cui Chong answered confidently.

As they exited the house, they could hear the man cursing hysterically!

"You bastards! You will be punished by the heavens! Ahhhh! Why did I come to this damn place! I swear the two will die a painful death!"

"This is murder! Ahhhh!!!"
