An Ran looked through the peephole.

The old granny was in pain but there was a smile on her face. There was no fear in her expressions.

She stopped moving.

The man pushed her body away and went into her house.

He came out in a short while.

This time, An Ran could see the man's face clearly.

His face was covered in scratches. She could tell that he was a young man. His tongue was sticking out from his mouth and there was red liquid dripping all over. It could be blood, but An Ran was not too sure about that. His eyes were also cloudy.

An Ran cried out in surprise and quickly retreated.

He Xin held and comforted her, "Don't be afraid, I'm here."

"What's wrong with this world? Why did this happen? The man outside... it was as if he's a zombie from a movie!"

An Ran had never seen such a scene so clearly. She had only ever watched it on the news.

"Is he even human? The experts said that he can be cured, right? Can we send him to a hospital?"

An Ran looked at He Xin, she was panicking and grabbed his arms.

He Xin kept stroking her head, trying to comfort her.

"Don't worry. It's fine as long as we don't go out."

An Ran was dumbfounded while He Xin was stunned.

He did not expect the man to have so much strength.

The man was no longer a human being.

As An Ran said, he was a zombie.

He tried his best to remain calm even with the loud noise.

Pink stones basically worked like money. They could be traded for other items in the system's mall.

She had managed to collect a hundred pink stones.

Without hesitation, Li Ran bought some peanut seeds. The purchase was successful.

A bag of seeds then appeared out of thin air! It was an extraordinary scene!

Li Ran buried the seeds neatly into the soil. A bag of seeds was just enough to fill up a plot of land. After she was done, she clapped her hands, picked up a bucket, and went to fetch some water.

She needed to fertilize the seeds and managed to get that done swiftly.
