As A Cardinal, I Don't Do Overtime Chapter 155

Helping Alma get into the academy.
Under the watchful eyes of the academy's teachers and deans, Monn and the others walked out of the academy.
After solving the problem of Alma going to school, it was like a stone was lifted from Monn's chest.
Monn took Alma's education very seriously.
After leaving Alma at the academy, it was almost time for Monn to go to work.
It was nine o'clock in the morning, and it was time for Monn to go to work.
Monn arrived at San Lorenzo just in time.
When he, Ace, and Asher came to the Holy Cathedral,
They found that the second son of the Francis family, Jerome, from yesterday, was also here.
There seemed to be a figure standing behind him.
But because the figure was very small, it made it difficult for Monn and the others to see its exact appearance.
However, they also did not care.
What made them curious was what Jerome came to the Holy Cathedral to do.
It could not be because of a gift that had not been given to them yet.
When they walked in,
Jerome heard footsteps.
He immediately turned his head and saw that it was them,
And carried out the Orthodox Church's exclusive etiquette.
The dark red nobleman attire on his body made him appear very calm.
He displayed the demeanor of a Nobleman.
It made people feel relaxed and happy.
If there were girls on the streets of San Lorenzo who saw this, they would definitely cry out in surprise.
They would wish that they could devote their entire body and mind to this Nobleman.
After paying his respects, Jerome looked at Monn and the others, and smiled. "Good morning, Pope Monn, Her Highness Saintess Ace, and unknown elf girl."
His red eyes flashed. When he saw the elf girl, his eyes flashed with inexplicable meaning.

It did not seem like Monn and Ace who had just arrived in San Lorenzo.
As the Masters of San Lorenzo, the Francis family was very familiar with the forces around the city.
After all, they were all neighbors. If something happened one day...
They could also be on guard.
Therefore, the Francis family had always been very careful with information about the forces around them.
At the banquet yesterday, Jerome knew that this elf girl had an extraordinary status the moment he saw her.
Especially after seeing the resplendent emerald around her neck.
It was sparkling like a living being.
People couldn't help but stare at it.
But Jerome quickly came back to his senses.
Although this elf girl's identity might not be simple,
This matter was, after all, a matter of the Orthodox Church, so Jerome didn't want to say anything more.
Plus, the elf girl didn't cause trouble.
This made Jerome not want to meddle in other people's business,
As long as it didn't trigger the elves to do anything bad to San Lorenzo.
Although the elves hated humans, they were also kind.
They wouldn't easily launch a war against other forces because of a small matter.
Jerome was very assured about this.
When he turned around,
A petite figure behind him suddenly appeared.
"Dang Dang!"
"You didn't expect this right!"
"Miss Heidi graciously appears!"
A petite and lovely girl wearing a red gown suddenly appeared in front of Monn and the others.
Her actions were very exaggerated,
But it did not scare them.
Except for Asher, who was a little confused.
Monn and Ace were expressionless.
Regarding the possibility of the girl being Heidi,
Monn and Ace guessed so early on.
They just could not confirm it.
Seeing that Monn and Ace were not surprised, Heidi immediately curled her lips.

She looked bored.
Seeing this, Jerome smiled helplessly.
Then he pushed Heidi back behind him.
She said helplessly, "I'm sorry. My sister is a little naughty and caused trouble for everyone."
Monn did not have any reaction.
But Ace heard this and snorted twice. She said, "She is indeed very naughty. I hope you can bring her back home and teach her the etiquette of nobility."
No one knew why Heidi was here today.
As a rival in love, how could she not know?
She knew this woman too well.
So she absolutely couldn't show any kindness.
Of course, Heidi heard what she said and curled her lips in disdain.
Then she watched as Ace made a face.
But she was stopped by Jerome, who had seen all this.
Seeing this, Ace didn't want to lose her temper.
Besides, this was the territory of the Francis family.
In fact, Ace didn't have the authority to let Heidi leave here,
But Ace didn't look happy.
She snorted and stopped looking at her.
Monn saw that the two women finally stopped,
Then he looked at Jerome and asked, "What's the matter?"
Jerome heard this.
Only then did he remember what he had to do at the Orthodox Church today.
He looked at Pope Monn and said with a serious face, "There is one thing, Pope Monn."
After hearing this, Monn's eyes did not change.
He only nodded slightly, indicating for him to continue.
Seeing this, Jerome said directly, "Before Pope Monn arrived at San Lorenzo, something strange happened in our town."
He paused for a moment, before continuing, "In the village east of San Lorenzo, some of the villagers' food disappeared without a trace. This has been going on for many days, but we haven't found anything strange."
Saying this, Jerome gaze became more and more serious, "Just last night, the situation finally progressed. Our soldiers stationed near the village overnight saw a figure who stole food. However, that figure was extremely fast. The soldiers couldn't catch up with him at all, so they could only let him run out. One of the soldiers was even injured by him."
Saying this, Jerome was indeed relieved. "It doesn't seem to want to hurt people. Other than the wound, that soldier's life isn't in any danger."
Monn nodded and asked, "Do you have any clues?"
Jerome replied, "I suspect it's a night feline monster"
Monn looked at him as if he was asking why.
Jerome continued, "After confirming the soldier's wounds yesterday, they indeed look like they were caused by a night feline monster."
Only then did Monn realize that he did not actually know much about the races in San Lorenzo.
Since Jerome could confirm it, there should be no problem.

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.

Am I The Only One Who Is Not Forced to Migrate Across Worlds....?
A random isekai adventure might not be random. Underlying conspiracies, not-so-kind world and most importantly two-faced characters. Only time can reveal the flaws of the so-called Migrators! *** I am rewriting the novel. All this time, I have honing my skills as a writer. As my first novel, this novel served as a self-reflection of how much I improved later on. This doesn't have the most unique of plots but as a first novel, I still have some aspirations and memories.

Red Street Daybreak
August Samuel Hatch was born under an inauspicious pattern of stars. It's granted him what is widely considered the most unlucky of inconveniences: becoming host to a powerful but pernicious spirit that will act as his guide and protector--and one day end his life. Sairne is sworn to stand by August's side and, when the fancy strikes her, advise him, all in the service of atoning for a past life she can’t remember having committed a grave enough offense to earn her soul indentureship in the mortal realm. Bound by a celestial contract neither one can negotiate, their fates are all they've ever known. But in a city ruled by religious right and where magic runs deep as bedrock, their search for a missing friend leads them to a dark conspiracy that could transmute the very magic that binds them to their fates, and that might grant them the ultimate choice: do they save the city or save themselves? Cross-posted on Wattpad and Ao3. For fans of fantasy YA story beats if they starred adults instead, 1920s inspired setting, lots of banter, larger cast of characters, somewhat soft magic system. Completed, but being actively edited prior to posting! I'm the only captain on this ship, so mind any errors.
