As A Cardinal, I Don't Do Overtime Chapter 133

Monn gently waved Elendil.
The demon, however, seemed to be frightened by something and hurriedly retreated.
However, he saw that the cardinal was still standing in place.
It was as if he just wanted to swing his sword.
The demon immediately flew into a rage, feeling that he had been insulted.
He even felt anger towards himself.
He had just swung his sword once and was able to scare him so much!
Damn it!
He roared in his heart.
He was ashamed and angry at his pathetic appearance!
Similarly, after seeing that Monn just had to swing his sword lightly to send the demon down into such a state,
Ace and the others also had strange expressions on their faces.
Was this the insufferably arrogant demon from just now?
They thought about how easily this demon took care of an Advanced-Level Holy Ranking werewolf.
And now, looking at how he was frightened by Monn's sword,
For a moment, Ace and the others felt a subtle sense of loss.
Monn held Elendil.
Seeing that Elendil's flames had such a great deterrent effect on the demon, they were also a little surprised.
Although he knew that Elendil was very strong.
But being able to scare the demon so easily was still greatly beyond his expectations.
Originally, Monn thought that it would be a fierce battle.
But in the end?
He shook his head after knowing the strength of Elendil.
Monn also did not have the intention to waste time with this demon.
Since Elendil worked so well on the demon, the demon should be gotten rid of as soon as possible.
Thinking of this, Monn calmly walked towards the demon.
Seeing this, the demon's expression changed.
At the same time, he seemed to see the disdain in the red-robed man's eyes.
This made him furious.

He was so brave in the human world.
Even that Advanced-Level Holy Ranking werewolf was easily crushed by him.
But now, he actually became like this.
Even a little red-robed cardinal bean looked down on me?
The demon roared in anger.
His lower body turned into a puddle of black water and fell to the ground.
In that puddle of black water, a dark figure appeared.
The next moment, the black water seemed to be connected to something.
Suddenly, it started bubbling violently.
Suddenly, a claw stretched out from the black water.
Seeing this, the Holy Knights instantly felt as if they were facing a great enemy, and all of them gripped their Holy Spears tightly.
Ace's expression also changed.
She wondered, could it have summoned another demon?
A few seconds later, the creature in the black water finally emerged.
A pitch-black creature with red eyes drilled out.
It was somewhat similar to the Demonic Beasts in the Demonic beast's forest.
Seeing this, everyone let out a sigh of relief.
Fortunately, it was only a demonic beast.
If another demon came, they didn't know if Monn could handle it.
However, just as they were rejoicing, the black water suddenly changed again.
After the creature that looked like a demonic beast appeared, countless demonic beasts came out.
This situation once again caused the expressions of Ace and the Holy Knights to change drastically.
"Isn't this too many?"
Ace could not help but say.
Seeing this, the demon laughed out loud.
Since he could not do anything to the flames of the red-robed cardinal, of course, he found helpers to help harass him.
Anyway, it was just some abyssal creatures. If they died, so be it.
The demon would not feel any heartache.
"Haha! My dear pets. Quickly go and tear these humans apart!"

Hearing the demon's order,
The abyssal creatures did not hesitate at all.
They directly charged forward towards Monn and the others.
There was an unknown roar in their mouths.
Monn gently waved his sword and sent an abyssal creature charging in front of him flying.
A wisp of flame landed on its body.
The pure white flame seemed to have found its prey and instantly burned vigorously.
In less than a few seconds, not a single residue of the abyssal monster was left.
This stunned the other abyssal monsters for a moment.
Then, they rushed forward again.
However, each of the monsters suddenly bypassed where Monn was.
Even if they had no intelligence, they were still instinctively afraid of Monn's fire.
However, Monn did not deliberately stop them.
After all, although there were many abyssal demons, most of them were of Mithril Rank and Black Gold Rank. Only a few of them had reached Amethyst Rank.
However, even they were of Amethyst Rank, Ace and the others could easily deal with them.
As long as Monn was responsible for beheading the demon, it would be fine.
When the demon saw that all of his pets had actually bypassed the red-robed cardinal,
The smile on his face instantly froze.
He said angrily, "Damn it! Attack that red-robed one for me! The red-robed one!"
When the abyssal monsters heard their master's order, they froze on the spot for a moment.
However, they still followed their instincts and avoided Monn.
Although they did not have much intelligence, they were still very sensitive to danger.
They didn't go towards Monn as they knew that that would've killed them.
When the demon saw this, he was even more furious.
However, the sound of footsteps left him no time to bother with those stupid things.
He looked at the approaching cardinal and knew that he would not be able to avoid the flames that could burn his soul.
As if he had made a decision, he looked at Monn and his expression became unusually ferocious.
"Roar!"
An angry roar came from his mouth.
A fishy smell floated out from his mouth and surrounded Monn.
Monn frowned in disgust.
His footsteps gradually quickened.
He could not be left alone anymore. He had even started to pollute the air!
Seeing that his angry roar had instead caused the cardinal to quicken his footsteps, the demon was instantly stunned.
Fuck! I am ready to fight you to the death. Shouldn't you be more cautious?
Why does it look like you want to finish me off as soon as possible?
The demon was confused for a moment.
But as the sound of Monn's footsteps got closer and closer,
He knew that he was also getting closer and closer to death.
Seeing that he couldn't scare the cardinal,
The demon stopped pretending.
He kept his eyes on the direction of his target and flapped his black wings rapidly.
He used his maximum speed.
However, he did not fly towards Monn.
Seeing this, Monn raised his eyebrows slightly.
He did not expect the demon to do that
Following the path of the demon, he looked over.
When he saw the thing in front of the demon,
Monn's expression instantly became a little strange.
This demon... really has some ideas huh.
Even the Holy Knights, Ace, and the others who were busy dealing with the abyssal monsters had a look of surprise when they saw the demon's path.

Sustaining the King's Life
On a secluded mountain situated upon a kingdom known as Feuersturm, resides a seemingly trifling cabin with an unlikely duo as its inhabitant—a witch, and her apprentice who presumably comes from a clan sought after by slave traders. Faustina is a sixteen-year-old girl who fled the slave market with the help of a sickly witch named Eula, who later on trained her as an apprentice for the span of seven years. Plagued with a mysterious disease for several years, Eula died despite the efforts Faustina had exerted to cure her; in her last breath, she left an odd request behind. "Sustain the king's life. This is your duty. Do not adhere to the prophecy." To which the odd plea shadowed a bizarre series of events, a consequential sentence, similar to that of a premonition. The same night the phrase was muttered, the chain of events followed: A warlock's intrusion to their home, with a peculiar yearning to resurrect Eula from the dead... and the king himself, asking for Faustina’s aid. ** 1-2 chapters a day (GMT+8) ** (The artwork belongs to me.
