The Holy Church.
Andrew continued, "Early this morning, the werewolf army suddenly launched an attack. General Barton received the news early in the morning, so he led the army and rushed all the way to Saint Selvan before nine o'clock."
"As for the Saintess, she heard about the werewolf attack on St Selvan. She was worried, so she took the initiative to suggest to the Pope that they come to St Selvan together with General Barton."
Andrew said softly and explained the doubts in Meng En's heart.
As for the Saintess, she felt a little guilty when she heard Andrew's explanation.
Although he was also worried about St Selvan, he was really worried about someone else.
After listening to Andrew's words, the doubts in Meng En's heart were explained.
Although he still didn't understand why the eldest princess came, and what followed after was the werewolves' attack.
Andrew continued to speak, and this time, his expression gradually turned serious. "The werewolves' attack was unexpected. Although we don't know the specific reason, we don't need to know the reason. As long as we properly deal with the werewolves' attack."
"Meng En of the Red-Robed, I will let you lead the entire Orthodox Church's knights to cooperate with General Barton of the kingdom to kill the entire werewolf pack. Do you have any objections?"
Meng En calmly said, "I'll do my best when it comes to work."
Although Meng En's tone was calm, everyone present could hear his determination,
So they nodded.
Then, Pope Andrew gathered all the Holy Knights of the Templar Hall and began the battle preparations.
Meng En was called up by the eldest princess.
The eldest Princess Sheryl looked at Meng En and smiled brightly. "Why, are you surprised? Was it unexpected?"
She circled around Meng En, her silver dress danced with her every move. Sheryl's silver hair blowing gently in the wind, and a whiff of the unique fragrance of a young girl drifted into Meng En's nose.

Meng En looked at the dancing Sheryl, his heart unperturbed.
Such a small scene was better than facing Heidi.
Meng En passed her expressionlessly, and Sheryl, who was circling around, suddenly froze.
She rolled her eyes behind Meng En's back.
Sheryl, who had come to know him a long time ago, know he was not surprised.
After all, she also knew that Meng En was like this.
She put her hands behind her back and caught up with him with light footsteps.
On the podium, Her Highness the Saintess, who was grabbed onto the stage by Andrew as a strong man, could not help but feel annoyed when she saw the eldest princess pestering Meng En.
Her fair little face became angry as she looked at the eldest Princess's back. That was very cute.
However, Meng En did not have such a good time at the moment.
When Andrew announced that Meng En would lead the Holy Knights, Meng En also came to the front of the Holy Knights' stage.
He said lightly, "I think everyone knows my style in the previous incident in the Magical Beast Forest. Of course, there are my old subordinates among you. If you don't know, you can ask them."
"I'm not asking you to kill many werewolves in the face of the werewolves. I only have one request, and that is not to retreat. Can you do it?"
"Yes!!"
As soon as Meng En finished speaking.
All the Holy Knights in the venue spoke in unison.
The momentum was so great that the werewolf army outside the city could not help but feel a little intimidated when they heard it.
Meng En was also a little surprised.
He thought that this would be similar to the performance of the Paladins in the magical beast forest last time.
In the end, it gave Meng En a pleasant surprise.
Of course, this time, Meng En overlooked a problem.
This time, the werewolves not only threatened them, but also their relatives in St. Selvan.

This was a battle of protection!
The Paladins can only fight and sacrifice their lives, there is no room for retreat!
Because their families were right behind them!
They would definitely win this battle!!
Although it was not what Meng En had expected, the outcome was good.
It saved Meng En a lot of trouble.
He nodded in satisfaction. "Alright, since everyone's beliefs are so firm, let's set off now!"
"We will definitely win this battle!!"
The Paladins present could not help but shout from the bottom of their hearts.
Their faces were all red, as if they were raging with hot blood.
Even Barton, the general of the kingdom, nodded his head when he saw this.
He had very high expectations for this group of paladins who had displayed a strong resolve.
Under the leadership of Meng En, hundreds and thousands of paladins walked out of the streets of St Selvan towards the city gate with a great momentum.
Along the way, almost all the residents of St Selvan stood at the gate to send off these paladins who had come out of the city to fight and protect their lives.
There were even many families of the paladins who were praying for them on the street.
Meng En walked at the front, and an inexplicable emotion rose in his heart.
This emotion was called being moved.
Saintess Ace was also moved to tears.
She even pulled Meng En's sleeve and wiped it under her eyes.
Meng En shook his sleeve with disgust.
His gaze couldn't help but betray his suspicion.
He always felt that this woman did it on purpose. Otherwise, why would she use his clothes when she had so much cloth to wipe.
Seeing Meng En's gaze, Saintess Ace couldn't help but feel guilty.
She guiltily turned her eyes to the side, not daring to make eye contact with Meng En. She hurriedly changed the topic and said, "This scene is really touching. This is the first time I've seen such a scene in my entire life."
Meng En glanced at her, feeling that this change of topic was very stiff.
As if this was a scene that is commonly seen by many others. Stating the obvious, witnessing a scene like this is a first for many others as well.
Under the gaze of the entire population, the Orthodox Church's Holy Knights finally arrived at the city walls of St Selvan.
And on the city walls were the kingdom's soldiers that had long been prepared.
Meng En arranged the distribution of the Holy Knights and then flew to the city walls.
As soon as he flew to the city wall, Meng En felt several sharp attacks with killing intent coming at him.
Meng En was very calm. He gently snapped the silver spears that were coming at him with two slender fingers.
The expressions of the masters of the Silver Spears changed drastically.
At this moment, a person who looked like a captain walked over.
"Stop, this is the red-robed cardinal of the righteous sect. Don't you have eyes!"
The few soldiers who were still in a state of nervousness were instantly stunned. Then, when they saw Meng En's clothes clearly, they felt awkward.
"Sorry! Sir Red-Robed! We didn't notice it was you!"
The captain walked over and slapped the heads of the soldiers with a face ready to reprimand.
Then, he looked at Meng En with an embarrassed smile.
"I'm sorry, this Lord in Red, your subordinates have poor eyesight. You see..."
Meng En didn't pay much attention to it. They were currently in the middle of a big battle, so the soldiers would naturally be very nervous.
Therefore, Meng En waved his hand to show that it didn't matter. Then, he checked the situation outside the city.

The Eternal Vigil
The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Instead, all prominent parts of human society are now organizing around the commands of three great Artificial Intelligences, owned and operated by the world's largest corporation. World peace has been achieved, and the very word 'politics' has disappeared from people's lips. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol). Also, I actually wrote this in grade 10 as part of my MYP Personal Project, and recently touched up on it for online publication. Finally, if you find the writing style passable and are interested in my other works, check out the one in the link below. It is a fantasy set in the Ancient Greek world, and is completed and uploaded in full: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/35099/the-oresteia-modernized
