As A Cardinal, I Don't Do Overtime Chapter 57

In the center of St. Servant City.
In a luxurious mansion.
The Sixth Prince sat at the dining table with a glass of wine in his hand.
His long and narrow eyes were reflected in the transparent glass.
As if he had thought of something wonderful, the corners of his mouth curled up slightly.
At this moment, a flurry of voices suddenly came from outside.
He thought that he had invited the Saintess over. The Sixth Prince tidied up his noble clothes and put on a gentlemanly smile.
"Not good, Your highness! Not good!"
The gentlemanly aura that the Sixth Prince had just gathered immediately dissipated.
He abruptly pulled the door open. "What are you shouting for!"
He looked around and he had not seen anyone, so he became even angrier.
He kicked Bowen, who was kneeling on the ground, away and scolded angrily, "Where's the Saintess? Didn't I tell you to invite the Saintess over?"
Bowen quickly got up, regardless of the pain on his body, he wailed with snot and tears, "We were going to invite the Saintess, but who knew that a cardinal would suddenly appear and forcefully take the Saintess away, he even beat Smith into a serious injury. Your highness, you have to help us!"
Old Bowen did not dare to say anything bad about the Saintess, but he still held a grudge against Monn, so he told the Sixth Prince everything that had happened.
As expected, the Sixth Prince was furious when he heard that.
"That little cardinal is so arrogant! Didn't you say my name to them?"
Bowen knelt on the ground and said with a trembling body, "Of course we did, but he doesn't care about your highness at all!"
Blue veins popped up on the Sixth Prince's forehead, and he kicked Old Bowen out again.
At the same time, he said in a cold voice, "Good, good, what a bold cardinal."
Although he was angry, he didn't immediately go to find trouble with Moon. Instead, he asked, "Even Smith with the strength of top Amethyst Rank lost?"

Old Bowen crawled back and said with a trembling voice, "According to Smith, that cardinal seems to be at the Holy Rank, and his strength shouldn't be lower than that."
Hearing that the cardinal's strength was of the Holy Rank, the furious Sixth Prince immediately calmed down.
Even their royal family did not have many elites with the strength of the Holy Rank.
They would not easily take the initiative to provoke him.
He did not expect that a cardinal from the Orthodox Church would have such strength.
This made him frown and feel troubled.
However, he could not lose the royal family's reputation, and he, the Sixth Prince, could not lose his face!
Looking at the moon that was already hanging high in the sky, the Sixth Prince said in a cold voice, "Even if he is a Holy Rank powerhouse, he still has to give his respect to the royal family. It's already too late today. Tomorrow, I will go to the Orthodox Church for an explanation!"
On the other side, Monn did not know that he had been targeted by the so-called Sixth Prince.
Of course, even if he knew, he would not care.
He looked at Ace who was very self-aware that she was came over to freeload. He was completely speechless.
He knocked on the table and looked at the chilling Ace, asking, "Why are you here again?"
Ace rolled her eyes, and at the same time, her mouth was stuffed with something. "Pope Andrew asked you to receive me."
"That was yesterday's work."
Munn's face was expressionless.
Ace said indifferently, "Who said that? That's a task you haven't completed yet. Pope Andrew didn't set a time."
"Father Monn, let Ace stay in our house. I quite like playing gobang with Ace."
At first, Ace was quite touched, but when she heard the last sentence, she immediately collapsed.
It seemed to be such a simple game, but in the end, she couldn't even beat a child

When Monn heard the little princess at home, he had no choice but to let Ace to stay around.
The next day, in the morning.
The bright sun rose quietly from the horizon, illuminating the entire Saint Servant.
At the Holy Cathedral.
A busy figure was walking back and forth in the cathedral.
In the cathedral, Andrew, who had just woken up and had not had the time to pray, was informed of the incident yesterday.
He shook his head helplessly, thinking that these royal families were really full of nonsense.
Prince Burton had just caused a lot of trouble that day, and immediately after that, came a Sixth Prince.
And they all went to Monn's head.
Andrew said to the archbishop beside him, "It's okay. If the royal family wants to cause trouble, let them come."
" The werewolves and vampires outside the human city are watching us now. I think the royal family understands the consequences as well."
"It's impossible for them to become enemies with the Orthodox Church just because of a naughty prince."
As soon as he finished speaking, a burst of footsteps suddenly came from behind.
Andrew narrowed his eyes and looked over.
He saw the Sixth Prince, who was surrounded in the middle, slowly walking over.
The Sixth Prince first performed a not so standard pray ritual with a smile on his face.
Coupled with his originally gloomy face, his entire face became terrifying.
"Long time no see, your holiness Pope Andrew."
The Sixth Prince bowed slightly, displaying the royal etiquette.
Andrew's face was expressionless as he replied, "I wonder why your highness the Sixth Prince has come to our Orthodox Church?"
The Sixth Prince was slightly shocked.
Did this old fellow really not know or was he pretending not to know!
He cursed in his heart.
His face continued to wear a smile as he looked around and asked curiously, "Why didn't I see her highness the Saintess?"
Andrew was stunned. Thinking of the news that the archbishop had told him, his face could not help but become nervous.
He stared at the Sixth Prince and said with a strange smile on his face, "Her highness the Saintess..."
With that, Andrew paused for a moment and turned to ask the archbishop deliberately, "Her highness seemed to be resting at the house of Cardinal Monn last night. Why isn't she here yet?"
The archbishop was stunned for a moment, then he rolled his eyes and looked at the time. He deliberately said, "If she is resting at Monn's house, it will probably take two hours to arrive."
After wo hours was exactly Monn's working time.
The Sixth Prince could not stand it when he heard this, but the person in front of him was the pope of the Orthodox Church after all.
He was clear about who he shouldn't mess with.
He could only clench his fists and forcefully hold back the anger in his heart.
But the royal family was not to be trifled with.
He should have the right to ask for a little cardinal from the Orthodox Church.
The Sixth Prince thought confidently in his heart.
He took a few quick breaths and released the anger in his heart.
Then he coughed a few times, "Pope Andrew, speaking of this Cardinal Monn, I want an explanation."
Then he turned his head and ordered the guards behind him, "Bring Smith up."
As soon as he finished speaking, a person covered in bandages and whose face could not be seen was carried out on a stretcher.
Then the Sixth Prince looked at Andrew, with a impatient face.
He knew that Andrew must have known what happened yesterday.
Andrew did not do as he was told, he asked, "What is this?"

Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author. Cover art by me! [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

I 'totally' won't abuse this~" [Author here, Just a forewarning that I'm writing this synopsis and the story without a solid outline/plot/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. The dialogue, here in the synopsis, probably won't ever be directly spoken in the story; though, it might. I only just finished writing the first chapter, so, we'll see.]

Ephemeral Cycle
Mature +18[?]------Hiatus notice, I'll be rewriting this story heavily over the coming weeks. It isn't going where I wanted it to, bare with me for awhile. Ideally, a months time, but time will tell.------Andrew Marks, among over a million, 'players,' is forcibly recruited into a game where the reality and fiction interlace. Where the slightest error will spell death. For yourself, for your new found allies, or the world. 'Choices have consequences,' is a lesson the Corporation wishes to remind people. In this new world where many fall each and every day, a man simply tries to avoid it all, yet the world isn't so kind as to let him off so easily.--------Chapters do tend to be on the longer side, well, in comparison to other fictions I've read on this site. Typically anywhere from 2500-4500 words depending on my mood at the time.In addition chapter releases are largely dependent on my mood so it should have at least two chapter released a week, however, I'll be busy for the next bit so it will be subject to change. --------Anyways, please bare in mind this is the first creative writing piece I have created with the exception of a novel I started writing just prior to this one. I'd appreciate any help or guidance you may give me to better my writing. Be it characters, background or setting, I'm quite sure there are a few loopholes. This is intended for a mature audience, viewers discretion is advised. I digress, enjoy, rate, comment, and let me know how it's treating you so far! I'll take any help I can get!
