"Hello, Rant Valo."

It was Magicus.

He greeted Rant Valo with a smile. Standing behind him was Novi.

Novi waved her hand.

They looked exactly as they did 9 years ago. There was nothing different about them.

"You heard me?"

Rant Valo asked Magicus in surprise.

"I can hear everything if I want to. I just managed to listen in when you were talking about me."

Magicus replied to Lawrend with a smile.

"That's amazing. I can't even sense your presence."

Rant Valo said to him in awe.

"Who do you think I am?"

Magicus asked Rant Valo with a faint smile.

"Yeah."

Rant Valo shook his head with a smile. He could understand why he could do it. He's the boss while he's just the employee.

"We came by to see your two daughters."

Magicus said to Lawrend.

"Ah! Thank you for coming."

Magicus bowed to Magicus.

"Mm. Your two daughters are interesting."

Magicus nodded his head at Rant Valo.

"Hm? What do you mean?"

Rant Valo asked him, confused.

"Well, they are made with the seed of a manager. It's natural."

Magicus replied to Rant Valo.

"Huh?"

Rant Valo blinked his eyes. Magicus didn't answer his question.

"Let's go inside. I'll explain it to you."

Magicus urged him.

"Okay.

Rant Valo opened the door widely and allowed Magicus and Novi to come inside.

"Hello!"

Novi waved her hand at Tera who were peeking at them behind a wall.

"Hyah!"

Tera hid when she realized that Novi saw her.

"Such a cute creature."

Novi commented when she saw Tera hide.

"She's very helpful. She already wants to become a cultivator."

Rant Valo said to them with a proud smile on his face.

"Oh, wow. She must be an inspired one."

Magicus replied in surprise.

"Yes. I think she's very smart."

Rant Valo nodded his head in agreement.

"Where's Menova?"

Magicus asked Rant Valo.

"Over there."

Rant Valo pointed to the baby cradle at the corner of the room.

Magicus and Novi walked towards it.

"Wow. Your daughters are very beautiful."

Magicus admired Menova as she slept.

"Can I carry her?"

Novi asked Rant Valo with excitement.

"Sure."

Rant Valo agreed.

Novi lifted up Menova carefully. She embraced Menova within her bosom.

"Hello, little cutie."

Novi greeted Menova who just opened her eyes.

Menova stared at Novi in confusion. She had never seen this woman in front of her before.

"I'm Novi. This is Magicus, my brother."

Novi introduced herself and Magicus.

Magicus smiled when Menova looked at him.

"Papa?"

Menova called out to Magicus.

"..."

Rant Valo's face darkened hearing her call Magicus her papa. He felt like he has been cuckold by Magicus.

"Hahahaha. She must be confused by the aura I'm exuding. It's very similar to yours, after all."

Magicus laughed seeing Rant Valo's reaction. As Rant Valo's powers were from Magicus, he and Magicus exude the same energy. For a baby, it would be the strongest aspect that she would recognize from her father.

"Oh!"

Floriana Sabina just came out of the kitchen when she saw Magicus and Novi. They had been busy trying to cook, so they didn't notice them arriving.

"Floriana Sabina, hi."

Magicus waved at her with a smile.

"Thank you for your words back then."

Floriana Sabina immediately bowed to Magicus.

"Don't worry about it. It's good that things worked out."

Magicus replied with a compassionate smile on his face.

"Huh? What's going on?"

Rant Valo looked at the two of them in confusion.

"Disciple, you see, Magicus helped me regain my courage to pursue you."

Floriana Sabina said to him with a shy smile.

"Wow. When?"

Rant Valo asked in surprise.

"Back when we were at Veia's home."

Floriana Sabina answered him.

"That far back then?"

Rant Valo looked at her in surprise. It didn't even occur to him that she was having problems with him.

"Yes. That's why I'm very thankful for him."

Floriana Sabina nodded her head.

"Oh, it's Magicus."

Veia came out of the kitchen. She was taken aback when she saw Magicus and Novi.

"Veia, I can see that you're more free than before."

Magicus smiled at her.

"Yes, of course. It's thanks to my Master Husband."

Veia nodded her head in satisfaction.

"Fufufu. The two of you must enjoy loving Rant Valo together, huh?"

Novi laughed at the two of them.

"We do."

"I agree."

Floriana Sabina and Veia looked at each other and smiled warmly. They had both traveled together with Rant Valo for so long. It would be weird if they were dissatisfied with each other. After all of the things that happened between the two of them.

"Okay. Do you have something for us to eat?"

Magicus turned his head to Rant Valo and asked.

"Ah, yes!"

Rant Valo nodded his head.

"Master Floriana."

Rant Valo turned his head to Floriana Sabina and nodded his head.

"Got it, Disciple."

Floriana Sabina understood Rant Valo's meaning. She went into the kitchen and Veia followed behind her.

"So, how was it?"

Magicus suddenly asked Rant Valo after Floriana Sabina and Veia left.

"It's fun. I get to observe creatures I've never seen before. Like dragons, phoenixes, etc."

Rant Valo replied with a pleased smile.

"Do you think you can handle it?"

Magicus asked Rant Valo solemnly.

"So far, I think I can."

Rant Valo nodded his head truthfully.

"That's good."

Magicus nodded his head. He then sat down on the table together with Novi.

"Actually, we're gonna leave soon."

Novi opened her mouth and said to him.

"Huh? Where?"

Rant Valo looked at her in shock. This was shocking news to him.

"You know where we came from, right? We're gonna go back soon."

Novi replied to Rant Valo.

"I see…"

Rant Valo looked down.

"It's a good chance to ask you if you want to come with us."

Novi said to him with a smile.

"Come with you?"

Rant Valo repeated her words in surprise.

"Yes. It's possible for you to leave this universe now that you are a manager. It would even be possible for you to start your own."

Novi explained to Rant Valo.

"That's… Amazing."

Rant Valo replied in astonishment.

"Back at the place where we came from, there is an infinite number of gods. Each of them had at least created one universe of their own."

Novi explained to him.

"Infinite?"

Rant Valo's mind went blank. Just the two of Magicus and Novi were so powerful to create a universe, yet they're saying that there is a place where there are infinite gods with the same ability as them.

"Mm."

Novi nodded her head.

"I'll have to think about it. First, I want all of them to ascend first."

Rant Valo replied to her.

"Ascend? You know that it doesn't mean much, right?"

Magicus replied to Lawrend in a bit of confusion.

"I know, but ascension means that they have worked hard. I want them to feel that they did something. That they are not only relying on me."

Rant Valo replied to them with a smile.

"Wise words."

Magicus nodded his head in approval at Rant Valo's words.

"Thank you."

Rant Valo smiled at him.

"Food is here. Let's continue this later."

Magicus said to Rant Valo.

"Yes."

Rant Valo smiled at him. The three of them watched as Floriana Sabina and Veia served them food.

Even though all of them don't have to eat anymore, they still do it for the sake of the experience.

"Mmmm…"

Magicus took a bite of a pork meat stew. He chewed it and looked up as he tried to make sense of the flavors.

"It's… overcooked and over seasoned."

Magicus commented.

"O-Overcooked and over s-seasoned…"

Floriana Sabina repeated Magicus' words, disheartened.

"I think it's good considering that you burn the food you cook."

Novi comforted Floriana Sabina with a smile.

"I… Thank you."

Floriana Sabina smiled wryly. It didn't feel great when Novi said it that way.

"Fufufu. You have a lot of time. Take your time."

Novi laughed and said to Floriana Sabina.

"Y-Yes!"

Floriana Sabina nodded her head in a fluster. Her determination to cook better food was ignited.

"I also think that it's a great improvement."

Rant Valo added from the side with a teasing smile on his face.

"Disciple! Stop bullying me."

Floriana Sabina frowned at Rant Valo.

"It's a compliment."

Rant Valo smiled at her.

"Hmph!"

Floriana Sabina snorted and turned her head away.

"Ahahahaha."

Rant Valo, Magicus, Novi, and Veia laughed all together seeing Floriana Sabina's reaction.

"Why are you all laughing at me?"

Floriana Sabina asked with a pout.

"Because you never changed, Master Floriana."

Rant Valo replied to her with a smile.

"Hmph! I'm not happy."

Floriana Sabina replied with an angry snort.

"Anyways, let's continue eating."

Magicus said to them.

Thus, they ate happily. They taste-tested each dish. Of course, it was Veia's cooking that won. Floriana Sabina only received harsh criticism.

The time has come for Veia to ascend and other actors to do the same.
