My Master Is A Tsundere Chapter 147

"Yeah!"
"Waaaa!! Senior Brother Torse is so cool!"
The crowd cheered for Torse. They were angry that someone like Rant Valo disturbed their Sect Tournament.
"Seeing that you both are eager to fight. I will be your witness!"
Sect Elder Andre said to the two of them.
"Do you both agree to the wager?"
Sect Elder Andre looked at both of them and asked.
"Yes."
"Yes."
They both nodded their heads and agreed.
"Humu. Very well!"
Sect Elder Andre nodded his head in satisfaction. He stood in the center once again, and Rant Valo stood to the other side of the platform.
"I will give you both 3 hours to rest."
Sect Elder Andre said to the two of them. If he didn't give this rest time, Torse would be at a big disadvantage. After all, he just had a battle of attrition against Khan.
After three hours, Rant Valo and Torse stood up from their positions.
"Ready? Fight!"
Sect Elder Andre glanced at the two of them and made sure they were ready before he shouted. He disappeared once again and appeared outside the platform.
"Go, Master!"
Veia cheered for Rant Valo. She was standing beside Floriana Sabina.
"Tide of Bad Fortune!"
Rant Valo shouted. A white gush of mana immediately flowed towards Torse.
"Keh. Childish tricks."
Torse dodged Rant Valo's magic technique with a sweep to the side.
"How about you take this? Light of the Heavenly Fallstreak!"
Torse used the same magic technique he used earlier. It fell towards Rant Valo quickly.
"Tortoise Fortune's Defense!"
Since Rant Valo already had experience fighting against Nerl Jared, he was prepared when Torse attacked him.
The platform under his feet broke into pieces and formed a shield that blocked Torse's magic technique.

"Hey. Don't you think that magic technique looks familiar?"
A sect disciple watching from the crowd tugged his friend.
"Maybe it's just a common magic technique?"
His friend replied in thought.
"Is that all?"
Rant Valo took down his defensive magic technique and it crumbled into pieces the fell in front of him. He looked at Torse in a carefree manner.
"Tch! Light of the Heavenly Fallstreak! Light of the Heavenly Fallstreak!"
Torse executed two magic techniques one after another. It both fell towards Rant Valo's left and right sides. If he didn't dodge or block, it would hit both his left and right shoulder.
"Don't you have other magic techniques?"
Rant Valo furrowed his eyebrows as he said to Torse.
"Hyperion's Blast!"
Torse responded to Rant Valo's words and changed his attack pattern. The ground under Rant Valo's feet suddenly glowed brightly.
"That's cheating!"
Rant Valo couldn't help but shout. He hurriedly threw himself to the ground to dodge the magic technique.
Suddenly, the spot where Rant Valo was standing released a bright white laser that traveled to the sky.
"Gulp."
Rant Valo was glad that he dodged the magic technique. If he tried to take it head-on, his defensive magic technique would not have been able to block it.
"Running?"
Torse grinned at Rant Valo.
"Luck Lock!"
Rant Valo used the magic technique that almost crippled him. A beam of mana escaped his eyes and hit Torse without giving him a chance to react.
"What!?"
Torse was surprised at Rant Valo's attack. He patted his body and confirmed that he was still alive.
"What did you do!? What was that attack?"
Torse asked Rant Valo with a shout. He became anxious as Rant Valo would not just attack him with a beam of mana.

"That's just a dud."
Rant Valo smirked at Torse. Realizing that Rant Valo was messing with him. Torse pointed his finger at Rant Valo and shouted.
"Piercing Light— Gohogh!"
Just as Torse was executing his magic technique, he felt a barrier halt the movements of his mana. It was like his mana was stuck in traffic. He fell down to the ground and kneeled powerlessly.
"I was joking. Sorry."
Rant Valo grinned smugly and walked towards Torse with slow steps.
"Y-You! What did you do to my mana!?"
Torse raised his head and questioned Rant Valo with anger on his face.
"It's my magic technique."
Rant Valo replied to him with a smirk. Floriana Sabina smiled in satisfaction seeing Rant Valo act like that. He was using her teachings well.
"M-Magic technique?"
Torse looked at Rant Valo in disbelief. He couldn't believe that a magic technique could do something like this.
"Stop! This fight is canceled!"
Sect Elder Andre stood in front of Rant Valo and Torse to stop their fight.
"What do you mean?"
Rant Valo looked at him with a frown.
"As you can see, Torse is not feeling well. It would be unfair if this fight would continue."
Sect Elder Andre matter-of-factly explained to him.
"Huh?"
Rant Valo looked at Sect Elder Andre like he was looking at an idiot. Didn't he just hear that he said that it was his magic technique?
"Y-Yes! I'm just not feeling well. My fight with Khan earlier damaged my internal body!"
Torse immediately hopped onto Sect Elder Andre's words. He himself was not willing to admit defeat just like this.
"Like I told you. That was my magic technique."
Rant Valo reiterated to them. He thought that they simply didn't understand his words.
"Stop taking advantage of the situation!"
Torse immediately shouted at Rant Valo with indignance.
"W-Wha—?"
Rant Valo walked backward in disbelief. This was his first time encountering a situation such as this.
"Disciple, don't let them fool you! They're trying to trick you! They don't want you to win so easily!"
Floriana Sabina shouted from the crowd. She could see that Rant Valo was lost from the situation. Thus, she could only guide him at this point.
Rant Valo's eyes immediately sharpened after hearing her words. He looked at Sect Elder Andre and Torse with anger on his face. They actually dared to trick him!
"Even if I'm a villager, I won't let this go!"
Rant Valo shouted at them in fury. He may be naive at certain things, but that doesn't mean that he was a pushover.
