My Master Is A Tsundere Chapter 130

"Hmph! Annoying old fogie."
Floriana Sabina snorted in anger as she watched the ash scatter with the wind.
"..."
The crowd around them grew silent. Their jaws were opened wide. No words could describe the shock that they are feeling right now.
"Master Floriana, how can you kill someone so easily?!"
Rant Valo asked her in anger and confusion. He didn't expect her to suddenly kill Nawa Jared.
"He was annoying me. Don't worry about it, Disciple. This is normal."
Floriana Sabina explained to Rant Valo and reassured him. For her who has been in the cultivation world far longer than Rant Valo has, killing is just a part of life.
"That's not normal!"
Rant Valo shouted at her. He, who has never killed anyone back in the village, doesn't understand what she means.
"It is, Disciple. If we didn't kill that old fogie, he would have come back with revenge, so killing him makes our lives better and easier."
Floriana Sabina insisted to Rant Valo. Revenge is common in the cultivation world. The best way to not allow an act of revenge to happen is to kill them before they even get the chance to.
"But it's still killing!"
Rant Valo answered back to her.
"You don't understand, Disciple."
Floriana Sabina shook her head with a sigh. Her disciple still lacks the worldly experience to understand her.
"What do I not understand!?"
Rant Valo was not willing to back down.
"Disciple, you don't understand that you would still have to kill him later."
Floriana Sabina replied to him calmly.
Meanwhile, the crowd around them had already recovered from their shock.
Most of them were shaking in fear. Nawa Jared is not just your average joe. He is a Sect Elder of the Immoral Cleansing Sect. His cultivation stage was said to be at the Mid Foundation Establishment stage. And if you didn't know, the Foundation Establishment stage is divided into 4 levels, namely, Early, Mid, High, and Peak.

Not to mention, the difference in power levels at the Foundation Establishment stage is not similar to the differences in power levels at the Mana Condensation stage. For example, a Mid Foundation Establishment stage cultivator can easily take on 5 Early Foundation Establishment cultivators. As for the Mana Condensation stage, a single difference in power level can be easily broken through brute force.
This difference in strength becomes more pronounced the higher your cultivation level is. This is also why some Mana Dominion stage experts are called Saints/Saintesses and most are not.
For Nawa Jared to easily die without even being able to fight back from Floriana Sabina's attack, made them feel like they were standing before a behemoth. They didn't even see her attack, and the only reason they were sure that it was her was that they noticed her hand move.
"Call the Sect Leader!"
A sect disciple in the crowd shouted. Immediately, all of the sect disciples in the crowd dispersed to either run away or to inform the Sect Leader.
"Master Floriana, I didn't know that you were a cold-blooded killer."
Rant Valo looked at Floriana Sabina coldly and with disappointment evident on his face. He honestly expected better from her.
"D-Disciple."
Floriana Sabina felt her heart break when she saw the way Rant Valo looked at her. It was so cold and not the usual warm smile that he was giving her.
"Master, I think Grandmaster is right."
Veia added from the side. She agreed with Floriana Sabina's words deep down. Although she couldn't understand why, because she still doesn't have her memories, she was at least confident that Floriana Sabina's words are correct.
"You too, Veia?"
Rant Valo looked at Veia with even more disappointment. He expected her to side with him.

"M-Master, don't look at me like that. It's just the way of the world. If you don't destroy a threat at its budding phase, you will regret it in the future when you can't destroy it anymore."
Veia felt her heart ache seeing her beloved master look at her like that. She could only explain it to him and hope that he will understand.
"Do I really have to kill to become a strong cultivator?"
Rant Valo looked up onto the clouds above. He was not even sure if he should continue cultivating, knowing that he would have to kill other people.
"You don't have to, Disciple. That's why I killed him for you. Otherwise, you would have to make that choice yourself in the future."
Floriana Sabina explained to him. She was gonna do her duty as Rant Valo's master. And if that needed her to kill people for him, she would gladly do so.
"Master Floriana…"
Rant Valo's emotions couldn't help but well up when he heard her words. She was really the best master that he could have hoped for.
"Disciple, if you think I shouldn't kill people, then I won't. I will respect your wishes."
Floriana Sabina said to Rant Valo. She was worried that if she insisted, Rant Valo's heart would grow cold for her. And she doesn't want that. She wants her disciple to love her.
"No."
Rant Valo stood straight and looked into Floriana Sabina's eyes.
"I won't stop you killing others in the future. Just don't kill people when it's unnecessary."
Rant Valo responded to her solemnly. He was not gonna be a wimp. He will become a strong cultivator. As long as they don't kill recklessly, then he could live with that.
"Good disciple."
Floriana Sabina smiled widely at Rant Valo's words. He didn't let her down. She was right to take him as her disciple.
Rant Valo simply nodded his head at her. It was still fresh in his mind that she killed someone. It would take a while before he could recover from it.
"Master, you're so strong willed."
Veia smiled sweetly at Rant Valo. She admired the fact that he quickly understood what they meant.
"Thank you, Veia."
Rant Valo returned her smile. Though it was still hard for him to accept what just happened.

The Orb Weaver Chronicles
"The Orb Weaver Chronicles contains several major and unique events that may or may not unknowingly intertwines with one another. The author of these chronicles is unknown, although some have hinted at the symbolism behind its name..." - Year unknown, location unknown 9 February 2022 Update: Welcome to the companion short story compilation of my novel trilogy The Shadow Paradigm. This compilation features prequels, sidequels and sequels to the novel's major plotline, as well as featuring a wide range of characters, new and recurring. Prior knowledge of the novel is not necessary as the Orb Weaver Chronicles' short stories are standalone. Once called The Arkesyyan Chronicles, I've deleted quite a few of its old stories. Due to the new avenue and revision, oriented toward more mystery and film-noir ambience, that I took my stories into, I've removed all aliens and overly sci-fi aspects of the whole TSP lineup, so I've updated the Orb Weaver Chronicles accordingly. I hope you enjoy them, and in time, a revised version will also be updated.
