Floriana Sabina noticed Rant Valo looking at her blankly. She raised an eyebrow as she asked him.

"N-Nothing."

Rant Valo turned away and gulped. He was just having weird thoughts about his master, who looks like a kid. Something was wrong with his head.

Floriana Sabina nodded her head in satisfaction. She looked down at the ground and at the damage done by Rant Valo's magic technique. It was awe-inspiring for a 10th Mana Condensation stage cultivator like Rant Valo to easily destroy an Early Foundation Establishment barrier.

"It was all thanks to the cultivation manual Master Floriana gave me."

Rant Valo humbly replied to her. He didn't dare to claim that his achievements were just because of his talent because his master also contributed to it.

Floriana Sabina snorted and turned her head away. Though, one would notice that her ears were faintly red from embarrassment. She was really easily embarrassed whenever her disciple praises her.

Veia got out of her reverie and stood in front of Rant Valo. Her eyes were shining from admiration. Her master is really the best!

"Thanks, Veia."

Rant Valo patted her head. She was just like a puppy when she acts like that.

"Mm."

Veia nodded her head happily. Just having her head rubbed by Rant Valo is enough to make her happy.

"Veia, you haven't drunk my blood for a while, right?"

Rant Valo asked her as he suddenly remembered that he had been actually neglecting her these past few days. She must be thirsting for his blood now.

"Yes. Yes! Master is really the best!"

Veia hugged him in excitement. She was so happy that her master remembered her thirst for his blood.

Floriana Sabina didn't know why but she felt irritated when she saw Veia acting so close to Rant Valo. It was like she was doing it on purpose.

Veia locked her arm with Rant Valo as she pulled him into the underground room. When they were about to enter the underground room, Veia turned towards Floriana Sabina and smirked.

A vein bulged on Floriana Sabina's forehead after seeing Veia's obvious provocations. Floriana Sabina breathed in and out several times to calm herself. She could guess that Veia was doing it on purpose to irk her.

A few minutes later.

Veia lowered the bowl she was holding. She had just drunk Rant Valo's blood. Her eyes were slowly turning more lustful by the second. Rant Valo noticed it and ignored it. He thought that she would just calm down again soon, but Veia pressed her body against him contrary to his expectations. She started moving her hands across his body.

Rant Valo was flustered and tried to escape. He promised his master that he wouldn't do it with Veia yet.

Meanwhile, Floriana Sabina was looking at the entrance of the underground room. What's going through her mind is unknown.

"Help, Master Floriana!"

Rant Valo shouted from inside. He couldn't move away from Veia's clutches. He only realized it now, but her cultivation was actually already higher than his. After drinking his blood so many times, her cultivation had improved by leaps and bounds.

Floriana Sabina shook her head. She was getting lost on what to do. She didn't even know if what she was doing right now was right or wrong.

Veia's words echoed inside her head.

"No! No! He's just a kid!"

Floriana Sabina shouted as she shook her head left and right in an attempt to get rid of her stray thoughts.

Back inside the underground room, Veia stopped harassing Rant Valo. She looked up towards the entrance of the underground room with a frown.

"V-Veia? Why did you stop?"

Rant Valo had a blank expression on his face as he looked at Veia. Just when he gave up and stopped resisting, she actually stopped. The Veia that he knew wouldn't be able to go against her instincts.

"Master, please stay here no matter what."

Veia pleaded to Rant Valo before heading out of the underground room. There was anger visible on her face. It was an anger that Veia has never shown ever since she met Rant Valo and Floriana Sabina.

Veia stopped in front of Floriana Sabina, who was sitting on a large rock.

"Grandmaster!"

She shouted at her.

"Veia? Are you done already?"

Floriana Sabina's face was blank, and it looked as if she lost her soul.

"Grandmaster, are you really abandoning my master just like that? Just because you think he's just a kid!?"

Veia looked straight into Floriana Sabina's eyes. If this were several weeks ago, she wouldn't have dared to do this, but for her master's happiness, she was willing to go against Floriana Sabina.

"You already did it with him. What more do you want me to say?"

Floriana Sabina stared back at Veia with her lifeless eyes.
