"It's a deal."

Floriana Sabina answered with a smile. It was a given for them to get the Evil Sacra Lotus anyway.

"So when are we leaving?"

Rant Valo couldn't help but ask. It was an important question for him since he still wants to explore this town. As a villager, reaching a town is an achievement, so not exploring it would be a waste.

"Tomorrow and my mother will not be coming with us."

Nale Narene replied to Rant Valo.

"What? Why am I not aware of that?"

Viynia Narene was bewildered by Nale Narene's words. She expected that she would be traveling with them. It didn't even cross her mind that her own son would not want her to travel with them.

"Mother, I know you can't bear to part with me, but it will be dangerous, so I have to go with them alone."

Nale Narene explained to her with a determined expression. His mother is the only family member he has left in the world. If he lost her too, he would not be able to forgive himself.

"... I understand. You're already old enough."

Viynia Narene bit her lips in reluctance. As much as she wanted to follow Nale Narene, she understands that it was not a good idea for her to follow him when she was weak in terms of cultivation, and she also has no more hope of getting more stronger. Nale Narene felt heartened that his mother understood his intentions.

"I won't, Mother. I will come back and retake our household's position as the owner of this town."

Nale Narene reassured her with a smile. When Viynia Narene saw that, she was satisfied. As long as her son is confident in succeeding, then he will surely succeed without any doubts.

The mother and son embraced each other with deep affection. Although the departure would only be happening tomorrow, the feeling of parting has already appeared inside their hearts.

"Ehem."

Rant Valo couldn't help but interrupt them after seeing that they were stuck with each other for a while. It was getting awkward for the three of them to continue watching them.

"Y-Yeah. I'll guide you guys to your rooms. I hope you don't mind staying here even after all that happened."

He kind of forgot that people were watching, and they both got carried away. He just decided to offer them their rooms to hide his embarrassment.

"It's fine. Lead the way."

Nale Narene brought them out of the Guest Lounge and deeper into the mansion. They stopped just outside of a large room with a king-size bed inside.

"Rant Valo and this miss will be staying in one room, right?"

Nale Narene guessed. After all, Rant Valo admitted that Veia was already his girlfriend. It shouldn't be a problem for the two of them to stay in the same room. It might even be what they want to happen.

"No!"

Floriana Sabina rejected the idea almost immediately. Just the thought of Veia and Rant Valo staying in one room made her anxious. Who knows what Veia would do when they're alone inside an enclosed space? She would most certainly not be able to contain herself.

"Is there a problem?"

Nale Narene became confused at Floriana Sabina's response. In his mind, he knew he did nothing wrong by suggesting such a thing.

"Yes! I would be the one sleeping inside the same room as him."

With a lift of her chin, Floriana Sabina declared, and Nale Narene looked at her and Rant Valo with a suspicious look on his face.

"You guys aren't doing 'that', right?"

Nale Narene certainly had very wild imaginations right now. He thought of something he shouldn't have thought about in the first place.

"NO!"

"NO!"

Rant Valo and Floriana Sabina responded at the same time. It was impossible for that to happen, ever!

"Hahaha, I was just joking."

Nale Narene revealed with a smirk on his face. He clearly enjoyed doing it.

"..."

Floriana Sabina and Rant Valo felt like punching him in the face. He was being very annoying by teasing them like that. Even Veia was looking at him in a hostile manner.

"Two rooms then."

Nale Narene spoke and gave them the keys to the rooms.

"I will be preparing for stepping down from my position as the owner of this town tomorrow. You guys can go and explore the town if you want."

Nale Narene explained to them before he bid his farewell.

Rant Valo's group was once again left alone by themselves.

"Did I do well, Master Floriana?"

Rant Valo asked Floriana Sabina with a smile on his face. It was a trial for him by Floriana Sabina. He was supposed to fix the curse that he gave to Nale Narene.

"You did well, Disciple! In fact, Nale Narene could be said to be very lucky right now."

Floriana Sabina praised Rant Valo generously. She was very proud of his work. Even though she had to intervene midway, it still didn't change the fact that Rant Valo did well.

"I'm glad."

Rant Valo felt satisfied with being praised by Floriana Sabina. It was, after all, quite hard for him to interact with Nale Narene at first as there was still a fear that he would leave him one day. Just like what happened back in the village.

"Master, can I drink your blood now?"

Veia tugged on the hem of Rant Valo's clothes. It has been almost a day since she drank his blood, and she was yearning for it once again.

"Alright."

Rant Valo slumped his shoulders in defeat. It was a good thing that his body quickly adapted and produced more blood every day. Otherwise, he would have died of blood loss long ago.
