My Master Is A Tsundere Chapter 78

"B-big Brother Garbet!"
Janette Jerna was tilting her head to the side and watching the fight unfold. She couldn't help but shout when she saw her Big Brother Garbet get a punch in the guts. He was not her blood brother, but instead, he was her lover. It was just something they decided to call themselves with.
Garbet Lohun raised his head and looked at her looking at him in worry. His heart felt sour after knowing that she just watched him lose a fight. He forcefully swallowed the vomit that was about to come up his throat and faced Rant Valo.
"I'm not done yet!"
He shouted as he wiped the stains from his mouth. He was standing shakily as the blow still disconcerted his body.
Rant Valo furrowed his eyebrows when he saw that Garbet Lohun was still not giving up yet. It was one thing for Rant Valo to win a fight against Garbet Lohun with their physical strengths, but he would absolutely not be able to win in a fight using cultivation techniques.
Rant Valo thought hard and knew that this was his only chance right now. So instead of waiting for Garbet Lohun to recover, Rant Valo closed his eyes and felt the mana inside of him.
He circulated them in a specific manner and released them out at both of his palms, pointing towards Garbet Lohun.
"Tide of Bad Fortune!"
As a result, a white flow of mana flew through the air and landed perfectly on Garbet Lohun. The moment it touched Garbet Lohun, he felt a tingle in his spine. He looked at Rant Valo with an indignant expression.
"Why did you attack!? Are you a coward?!"
Garbet Lohun screamed at Rant Valo. He felt unfair and injustice that Rant Valo actually attacked him when he was not ready yet.

"I…"
Rant Valo scratched the back of his head in awkwardness. It was true that he was a coward to attack when his opponent was not ready yet. But Rant Valo knew that it was his only chance to win as the effect of the Tide of Bad Fortune is very slow.
"Huh? Was that just a dud?"
Garbet Lohun looked at his hands in confusion. He could swear that it was mana that Rant Valo threw at him, but he felt nothing different.
"I think?"
Rant Valo smiled awkwardly. It was hard for him to judge whether his cultivation technique actually worked against him. Even for Floriana Sabina, he didn't notice any effects.
Contrary to what Rant Valo knows, it affected Floriana Sabina back then when she blurted out that she wanted to kiss Rant Valo. Its effects are diverse, and you can't say what it would be.
"You! You actually tried to scare me!"
There was fury in Garbet Lohun's face as he looked at Rant Valo. His eyes turned bloodshot, and he closed his eyes. Then a few moments later, he opened his eyes and shouted.
"Fire Wave!"
A small wave of fire appeared in front of him and attacked Rant Valo. It was a meter in height and a meter in length. It was swift, and panic immediately formed on Rant Valo's face.
He didn't have anything that could block that attack. What he feared actually happened.
But as the wave of fire traveled, it actually turned to the side and hit the wall instead. Garbet Lohun looked at it comically as it burst into a bright flame after hitting the wall.
"W-what?"
There was confusion on his face as he looked at where it had hit and at the scorch marks on the carpet. Its trajectory was entirely different from what he expected it to be. He never even knew that it could turn! What the hell is happening over here!?

"Hahaha! It actually worked!"
Rant Valo laughed after seeing that it didn't go as Garbet Lohun wanted it to be. He finally knows that it actually works on people. It was even more effective than he thought it would be.
"What do you mean? Was it that attack you did at the start!?"
Garbet Lohun's eyes bulged in shock after realizing that it was the cause of this bizarre effect.
"Yes! Thank you for helping me experiment on it."
Rant Valo thanked Garbet Lohun with a wide smile on his face. His mood turned for the better after knowing that his cultivation technique has a tremendous effect on cultivators.
"Come on! Attack me again!"
Rant Valo used a finger motion to incite Garbet Lohun to attack him once again. He wanted to see if it still works. So, of course, Rant Valo went behind Floriana Sabina and watched while using her as his shield.
"Shameless disciple!"
Floriana Sabina snorted after seeing that Rant Valo actually dared to hide behind her. However, she didn't stop him but instead focused in front of her at Garbet Lohun.
Garbet Lohun was fuming. This villager was making him so mad that he thinks he's about to go bald! That's right. He's malding right now!
"TAKE THIS! Serpent Flames!"
A fire snake appeared from his hands. It flew directly towards Floriana Sabina's face very quickly. But just as it was about to reach Floriana Sabina, it split into many pieces that dissipated into the air.
His cultivation technique failed to execute properly, and Garbet Lohun watched all of this with wide eyes.
He could feel himself going crazy. He had been cultivating since he was little, and he had used this cultivation technique a lot. However, this sort of thing only happened when he was still learning it. It had been so long since he last saw this effect happen.
"Who are you!?"
Garbet Lohun asked Rant Valo with dread on his face. What Rant Valo just did was something that he would not even be able to imagine in a million years.
"Me? I'm just a plain villager. Just like what you said."
There was mockery in Rant Valo's voice as he replied to Garbet Lohun. He was mocking him for looking down on him just because he was a villager.

Blood Demon's Retirement
Civil War had raged on the Al-Shan Archipelago for the past four decades, only recently coming to an end with the enthronement of the new Emperor. This is not his story. The Blood Demon, renowned general of said civil war, was tired of all the fighting and politicking that had described the last four decades of her existence. All she really wanted to do now is to go out into the world and see the many lands from her father's stories. Thus she retired, and went and did exactly what she wanted. This is the story of what happens when you toss a (retired) war machine with somewhat lacking common sense into an unsuspecting world at peace. Chapters will range from 1-2.5k words, scheduled for release every day from Monday to Friday. First time posting a story on Royal Road here, hoping you folks will enjoy. Expect: -slow going slice of life with occassional faster paced action -world building -detailed anecdotes on the world, its races, the magic system, and whatnot every now and then Do not expect: -romance, other than maybe some passing mentions -politics, again, barring passing mentions Any comments, reviews, and criticism will be much appreciated. And thank you for reading. ---------------------------- Disclaimer: This story is my original work and only posted on the Royal Road and Scribblehub websites. If you should find this story elsewhere or under another name, please let me know. Also please don't be too hard on me when I make occasional grammatical mistakes, English is my third language after all. XD Edit suggestions are very welcome though. Discord

And the world's changed that video games level and classes governed the power system of the new world! What will she do as a weak and fragile girl? Will she get her power back? How will she survive in the harsh world? Author's note: I will update daily if possible and each chapter is around 2,000 words. Gores, Sexual Contents, and Traumatising Contents are limited and I try my best not to write them. However, for the progress of the story, I can't help but write some of them in the latter part of the story. However, don't expect them too much ^_^ English is not my native language, so there might be grammatical errors (maybe a lot), but I'll try to fix them, so constructive critiques will be appreciated (^_^)

Fire and Shadows. Legend of the breaker. (Hiatus until ??)
Traditions lost, books burned, ancient knowledge forever spurned. It began with fire, the great Sirionean, all dominating desert creating pyre. And it ended thusly just aswell, t'was the great Empire's deathknell. The crackling of the burning books, dangling corpses on rusty hooks. The yellow streets of Heabury proper, colored red with human copper. -? S.V, Scholar of Dawn.' -- Author note: Hi, SeV here. I'm not a fan of writing my entire story premise in the synopsis. For that, read the prologue and chapter 1. Suffice it to say that I think it's a cool idea and I already have a few things planned and a world sort of formed in my mind. I like Epic fantasy, lightnovels with OP MCs, Litrpg, sci-fi, any many other things. This story is written for myself, so it may include all sorts of diffent elements and character interactions and even experimental things that I'm trying out as a writer in order to improve. My intention with this is to pretty much post as I write, and acquire feedback from you folks in the process. I of course hope you like my story, but feel free to criticize anything since this is a project to improve myself. Even if it isn't strictly criticism, any feedback positive or negative is welcome since I am interested in what other people think of my writing style and what I can improve on. Since it's growing generically I'll be interested in your thoughts and speculations on future events and any suggestions moving forward will be taken into consideration. Hope you enjoy my stuff. - SeV
