"It's okay, Veia. Your Master will treat you better starting from now on. You just have to promise me one thing."

Rant Valo patted Veia on the head and Veia purred in delight. It was her first time being patted by Rant Valo and it made her squeamish.

"Sigh, in the end. It still happened."

Floriana Sabina sighed in helplessness. She wanted to avoid this. Veia would only want to do lewd stuff with Rant Valo. And now, this emotional barrier was broken completely. They won't have any misgivings with doing it with each other anymore.

"Veia, I want you to wait. Wait, when I return to my village. If Zaria-chan agrees, I'll take in both of you. Of course, if you want to, you could still be my servant."

Rant Valo's eyes were misty as he spoke to her about the future. It felt so surreal to him. Just a week ago, he had been at his lowest point. And right now, he was even making a serene promise to a girl.

Rant Valo was amazed at the ups and downs of life. If this was his compensation when he was avoided back in the village then he wouldn't complain.

"Maybe, it wasn't so bad after all."

Floriana Sabina whispered to herself. Rant Valo's words had put her to ease. As long as he has the determination to reach the highest point in cultivation, then Floriana Sabina wouldn't mind it. But for some reason, there was this aching inside her heart. It was so faint that Floriana Sabina didn't even notice it.

"Yes, Master! I'm so happy!"

Veia's teary face was brimming with happiness. Having her Master finally recognize her was like a dream for her.

"I'm glad you understand, Veia."

Rant Valo smiled back at her. It was a good feeling that he was able to resolve this very peacefully. He still felt a tinge of fear and sadness when Veia said that she wanted to leave. It was like those times again back in the village.

"Hehehe…"

Veia giggled in happiness. She was just like a maiden who was madly in love that got her love returned.

"Let's go, you two love birds."

Floriana Sabina beckoned them. It was starting to become painful to watch for her. She had somehow become the third wheel.

Rant Valo and Veia laughed together before following after her.

Now that Rant Valo and Veia had decided to wait, Floriana Sabina was finally able to have the outcome she wanted.

Still, as Floriana Sabina continued walking. The unnoticeable pain inside her heart started to slowly grow stronger. It reached the point that her mood started to sour.

"Disciple."

Floriana Sabina stopped walking and called out to Rant Valo. Her heart couldn't take what she was feeling anymore.

"Master Floriana?"

Rant Valo stopped and turned to her.

"Ah, nothing…"

Floriana Sabina didn't know why she called Rant Valo. As the pain sank deeper into her heart, she looked at Veia happily walking beside them like nothing ever happened earlier. She felt a tinge of envy that she didn't know where it came from.

"Okay?"

Rant Valo continued walking ahead. It still confused him that she stopped him.

"Veia, aren't you mad at me?"

Floriana Sabina turned to Veia as she asked. Veia was the one who was most affected by all of this and she was also the greatest winner.

"Yes, Grandmaster? Why would I?"

Veia turned to Floriana Sabina as there was still a smile plastered on her face. She became so happy that she couldn't even control her emotions anymore. It was so surreal after all.

"'Why would you?' I almost caused you to run away from your master."

Floriana Sabina was stupefied that Veia was not acting like she was mad at her at all. For her, it was not making any sense as it only happened because she wanted to have Rant Valo become the strongest cultivator out there.

"I don't mind. I know you were doing it for Master. In fact, I'm even thankful to you for allowing me to express all of my emotions to Master."

Veia smiled brightly. Even if Floriana Sabina started all of that, it was exactly because of that that she was very thankful for her. If it didn't start at all, she would only have confused her master.

Now that her master has promised her that he would take both of them as his wives, it puts her at ease. She realized that if her master couldn't become the strongest cultivator, his dreams would all be in shambles. As long as he stays steadfast to his initial goal, then she is happy.

"That's some great thinking, Veia."

Rant Valo praised from the side. Even he himself thought that she would have some bad blood against Floriana Sabina because of what happened, but Veia proved him wrong. It was so satisfying hearing that for Rant Valo. He knows that if they were fighting against each other, it would only make it awkward for him who was in between them.

"Hehehe, praise me more."

Veia giggled in happiness. She enjoys her master's praise the most.

"Hahaha, you're the best servant out there."

Rant Valo decided to abide by her demands and praised her once again. Interacting with her after what happened earlier has become easier. It was like there was a small connection between them, besides the one from their Master-Slave Contract.

"Hehehehe! Master!"

Veia tried to open her arms and hug Rant Valo, but she immediately became conscious of it. She held back and just giggled. She will respect her promise with Rant Valo.

Rant Valo and Floriana Sabina noticed her holding back and they couldn't help but be impressed by her within their minds. Floriana Sabina sighed and kept the pain inside her heart hidden.

And so, the trio continued on their journey once more. After the drama that pushed Veia and Rant Valo closer together.

They hunted wild animals along the way and slept another two days before finally reaching the outskirts of the town. It was the start of a new story for them.
