My Master Is A Tsundere Chapter 67

"Don't worry, Disciple! I have been fixing my lack of control these past few days."
Floriana Sabina smiled confidently at Rant Valo. These past few days whenever she was cultivating, she was actually consolidating her strength and increasing her precision when controlling her mana.
"I'm still worried…"
Rant Valo smiled wryly. Seeing her being so confident didn't alleviate his concerns at all.
"Really? You don't have trust in your master? I'll show you!"
Floriana Sabina pouted her mouth at Rant Valo's lack of trust towards her words.
Floriana Sabina did a lifting motion with her right hand and the rectangular woven rattan was raised up into the air. It floated there silently. She closed her eyes and opened them shortly after. A small red snake left her left palm and swirled around the woven rattan.
It turned into a mini flaming tornado that surrounded the woven rattan. Rant Valo felt the high heat of the flames and moved backward a little bit. The fire tornado swirled round and round as hot air was pushed above it. It sucked all of the moisture inside the yellowberries.
Inside the flaming tornado, the yellowberries slowly shrank in size. Rant Valo and Veia waited for a few hours before Floriana Sabina was done drying the fruits. The flaming tornado disappeared in a puff of smoke as the grass under it was burnt to ashes. The woven rattan dropped downwards and created a cloud of ashes.
The yellowberries on the woven rattan were now a deep orange in color. They have shrunk considerably in size compared to before as the moisture inside them has dried off.
"... They're rock solid."
Rant Valo poked one of the yellowberries with a finger and it felt like a rock that was stuck on the ground. It didn't budge at all. He pulled it off the woven rattan and placed it inside his mouth.

"How is it, Disciple?"
Floriana Sabina watched Rant Valo expectantly. She wanted to know if she did a good job with drying the yellowberries.
"Eugh, it's like I'm chewing on rocks!"
Rant Valo bit hard onto the dried yellowberries and it just cracked into pieces. It was not the chewy dried yellowberries that he had expected. The flavor was very sweet and with a sour taste.
"Is it really that bad?"
Floriana Sabina felt disheartened seeing Rant Valo's response. She was proud of her work and seeing it being criticized didn't feel good. She crouched down and picked up a piece. She threw it inside her mouth and chewed on it.
"MmmMmm… It's just like candy."
Floriana Sabina spoke as she chewed on it. The hardness of the dried yellowberry was just like candy. She didn't find anything wrong with it at all.
"Let me try too!"
Veia grabbed one for herself and chewed with them.
"Yum. It's really good, Master."
Veia commented as she went to get another one for herself. It was very tasty and sweet. It was something that tickled her food palate.
"I don't like these."
Rant Valo shook his head at their responses. He didn't like the hard texture of the rock-hard dried yellowberries. He had never eaten something like it.
"You're being picky, Disciple."
Floriana Sabina frowned at Rant Valo. She thought that it was already quite good.
"I like them soft and squishy. Not rocks."
Rant Valo mocked. A vein bulged on Floriana Sabina's forehead after hearing Rant Valo's words.
"Hmph. What did you just say?"
There was a sinister smile on Floriana Sabina's face. It was something she made and it being called rocks just insulted her. Her pride couldn't take something like that.

"Hahaha… I was just joking. I mean I wanted to try the soft and squishy ones."
Rant Valo avoided her eyes and scratched the back of his head awkwardly. Seeing her smile just made chills run down his spine.
"I see."
Floriana Sabina flashed a fake smile. Rant Valo turned away in fright and collected the dried yellowberries on the woven rattan. He pretended that nothing just happened right now. Veia was crouching beside him as she ate one dried yellowberry after another.
"Um, Master Floriana, do you have a jar?"
Rant Valo had moved all of the dried yellowberries in a corner on the woven rattan. All he had to do now was put it into a container. The problem was he didn't have any. And only Floriana Sabina who has a Storage Ring could possibly have one.
"Here. But say please, first."
A big glass jar appeared on Floriana Sabina's hands and she teased Rant Valo with a wide smile on her face. She looked just like a little girl bullying an older kid.
"..."
Rant Valo's mouth was opening and closing just like a fish as he couldn't find anything to say with what she just said. On one side he wanted to just get the jar and say please, but on the other side, he felt embarrassed saying please seeing her smile like that.
"What's the problem, Disciple? It's just one word."
Floriana Sabina's smile became wider and wider seeing Rant Valo look away when she looked straight into his eyes.
"...please."
Rant Valo's voice was silent as a mosquito's buzz. Floriana Sabina smiled in satisfaction after hearing it. She didn't make it hard for Rant Valo anymore.
Rant Valo accepted the glass jar from her hands and his face went red from embarrassment. She was being oddly dominant right now that Rant Valo was caught off guard. He placed all of the dried yellowberries inside the glass jar before closing it tightly.
"Master, I'm still eating those!"
Veia complained after seeing him store all of the dried yellowberries inside the jar. She had been enjoying munching on them as a snack for a while now.
"Okay, here. I'll take the other yellowberries in your arms."
Rant Valo passed her the jar as they will still make more batches. Having her eat more is not a problem. He took the yellowberries that were in her arms to his and started the cycle once more by placing the yellowberries in neat rows on the rectangular woven rattan.
