My Master Is A Tsundere Chapter 47

"???"
Rant Valo looked around still confused. He looked at Veia who was sleeping on the grass. She was sleeping quite soundly.
"What happened earlier?"
Rant Valo murmured to himself. He sat down beside Veia and observed her sleeping face. She was breathing faintly and so calmly that it was as if what happened down inside the cave earlier was just a dream.
"Nnn…"
She moaned and hugged herself. There was an excited smile on her face.
"Massterr… I'm gonna eat you up…Uhehehe"
Veia murmured in her sleep. Her smile turned into a perverted grin at the end of her words.
"..."
Rant Valo was speechless at her sleep talking. He felt weird having someone dream about him. It was even more so when it's a lewd dream.
"Hm? *sniff sniff* I can smell master…"
Veia lifted up her nose and sniffed in Rant Valo's direction.
"How strong is her sense of smell?"
Rant Valo's mouth twitched at her ability to smell him even in her sleep. Was he really that smelly?
"Ah! Master!"
Veia suddenly opened her eyes wide and was surprised to see Rant Valo's face looking down at her.
"What were you dreaming?"
Rant Valo couldn't help but ask. Even he became curious about her dream after hearing her talk in her sleep.
"Ah! I forgot!"
Veia sat up in surprise. Just when she was about to remember her dream, it faded away. Rant Valo didn't know what to say. He wanted to know it but she went and forgot it...
"Master, how long was I asleep?"
Veia asked. She felt like she had been sleeping forever.
"I don't know. I don't remember what happened a few minutes ago."
Rant Valo shrugged his shoulders at her. He also didn't know anything. He somehow forgot a few minutes of his life.

"We're the same, Master. Maybe, we're destined?"
Veia blurted out with excitement in her eyes. The idea of being destined with Rant Valo was such a promising idea.
"Idiot, it doesn't work that way."
Rant Valo flicked Veia on her forehead.
"Ouu… Master, that hurts."
Veia flinched when Rant Valo flicked her. She rubbed her forehead in pain.
"Stop saying nonsense things and help me catch fish. I feel hungry."
Rant Valo had been oddly feeling hungry. It was like he was drained of a lot of blood or something. Rant Valo who forgot what happened earlier was totally clueless that it actually happened.
"Okay!"
Veia stood up energetically. She fixed her hood on her head and left the shade of the tree. She followed Rant Valo as he walked to the river. The raging waterfall was near so it was still quite deafening.
"Do you know how to catch a fish?"
Rant Valo asked her.
"Don't you catch fish with nets?"
Veia pondered. She never had experience with fishing. At least, even with her memories of her past gone, she still has most of her common sense and fishing wasn't in it.
"Okay. I'll teach you."
Rant Valo picked up a long branch from the side and broke its tip off into a pointier one. He gave it to Veia and Veia took it confused. How was this related to catching a fish?
"Just stab any fish you see in the water."
"Stab?"
Veia was very confused at this point. She can't even make sense of what she's hearing.
"It's called spearfishing. It's quite useful, you know?"
Rant Valo explained. As someone who has lived as a village outcast, his expertise in this field is very much approaching the master stage.

"Oh! Master, you are so knowledgeable!"
Veia was suddenly enlightened. Her opinion of Rant Valo rose up.
"Now try it."
"Okay! I'll show you what I can do, Master!"
Veia excitedly held the long sharp branch. She approached the river banks and looked into the clear water. She saw a bunch of red fishes and instantly thrust into one.
SPLASH!
A big fountain of water was raised into the air. Her thrust was like a giant rock slamming into the water.
"I caught one, Master!"
Veia raised the long sharp branch into the air and excitedly showed it off to Rant Valo. Rant Valo's mouth was wide open as he looked at the falling water and the still struggling red fish.
"That's the red one I couldn't catch!"
Rant Valo suddenly exclaimed in excitement. He went forward and inspected it.
"Do you like the fish, Master?"
Veia asked with a cheeky grin on her face.
"I do! I wanted to catch this before."
Rant Valo repeatedly nodded his head. He can still remember failing to catch the red one a few days ago.
"Take it, Master!"
Veia gave the red fish to Rant Valo. He removed it from the sharp branch and held it in his hand. The fish still struggled as it hadn't died yet. He had to grip onto it tightly just so it won't escape.
"Thank you, Veia!"
Rant Valo was genuinely thankful for her. He ate a Spirit Fish before and they were white and fast, but this red fish is even faster! A Spirit Fish is already tasty, how tasty would this red one be?
"It's my betrothal gift to you, Master. Hehehe"
Veia chuckled to herself. Having Rant Valo take it was just a bait. What she wanted was to give it to him as her betrothal gift!
"Isn't it supposed to be the other way around??"
Rant Valo was confused at her suddenly giving him a betrothal gift. He never heard of a girl giving the man a betrothal gift.
"So you accept it! We're betrothed now!"
Veia said excitedly. She can't live without her master, and that is figuratively and literally.
"Wait, no!"
Rant Valo immediately denied her. He didn't want to be betrothed to someone he didn't love!
"I'm just kidding, Master. Why are you so put off of marrying me?"
Veia laughed at Rant Valo. She then pouted at her last sentence.
"Stop playing with my heart!"
Rant Valo complained to her. At this rate, he wouldn't know what was real and what's not.
