Rise Of The Cosmic_Emperor Chapter 60

Of course they had no idea that the whole event had the spectation of a lady wearing a bejeweled mask and her arms folded beneath her ample breasts looking out the window of Pleasure inn.
The masked lady watched on with an expressionless face. It was unknown what was going on in her mind as she watched the duo walk back to the mansion hand in hand.
A quick knock on her door and she turned to see both Camilla and Irina walk into the room in clean clothes and an uncertain smile.
"So, did you enjoy yourself?" She asked in a calm voice
"Oh yes" Irina nodded
"Husband made us very happy" Camilla said with a nod of her own
"Husband?" The masked lady was slightly confused, were this not the same girls she had taught independence? To be free from the callous clutches of men?
"Yes. Husband" Camilla repeated with another nod of her head
"Husband has primal seed" Irina moaned in satisfaction as the memory came back to mind.
This time the masked lady was not merely confused, she questioned their sanity. Primal seed was more of a legend than anything else.
The legend of the primal seed spoke of the perfect seed. It was said that it's essence could be absorbed the same way one would absorb cosmic energy. Not to mention that it was said to not only be free of impurities, it could also clear the impurities of the one who absorbed it.
Now how could such an essence exist?
"Oh it does, mistress" Camilla said when the question was asked
"Husband definitely has primal seed"
The masked lady was silent for a while before she snorted 'whatever, who cares?' She thought before turning to the two
"I need you to prepare for the auction"
"You'll help him mistress?" Irina asked with limpid eyes
"Stop staring at me like that. We already came to an agreement" The masked lady turned away from the window and sat back down on the sofa.
Camilla and Irina looked at each other and smiled before they left the room together
The masked lady watched them leave
"Primal essence huh. If it's true. Then she's very lucky, sigh, I might even envy her" she said in a barely perceptible whisper.

Melinda's Mansion
As soon as they got back, Melinda separated from him to cultivate, but not before whispering into his ear how horny she would be at night and how it was his responsibility to take care of it.
After which Hal checked up on Marla in the Time warped chamber to find that she was still cultivating and her cultivation was now at the fifth stage of the Energy sensing realm.
She had been inside the chamber for three days which meant that in the array, a month had passed, That such an achievement would usually take much longer to accomplish was a testament to how talented she was.
However she had hardly made any progress in the mastery of her physique as she had taken Hal's advice and focused on her cultivation in the mean time.
Then he checked on Rita and she was cultivating as well. She believed she had made the least progress, she met Hal when she was at the peak stage of the Cosmic pearl realm and even though she was now at the Cosmic Armament realm, the advancement was far from satisfying.
Melinda for one seemed so close to forming her armament and once she did, Rita would lose the lead she had in their unspoken rivalry. And she would not have that.
So when she felt Hal's presence, she wished to jump his bones but alas, as pleasurable as it would be, his essence would not help further her cultivation, as he was still weaker than she was, so she kept herself in check and focused on cultivating. They could be together once she was at the mid stage of the Cosmic Armament realm.
Hal decided to leave her to it and went back to his room, he sat cross legged and withdrew the rank 3 pills he had gotten in the Holger treasury out of his inventory to study them.
The only thing he could learn was that whoever had been backing them must have had a lot of good resources. To give such valuable pills showed a wealth that was past the level of Salmon city. So why?
Why were they here?
What was the agenda?

Unfortunately staring at the pills did not provide an answer.
So Hal began to admire alchemy. According to Grimiore, he had little to no hope of ever being an alchemist.
Alchemy required the use of Di-astral sense which was basically Astral sense that could not harness astral energy.
The harnessing of astral energy was a source of pride for a rune-master but for an alchemist, it was a curse. Astral energy would ruin all but one special pill.
The use of astral sense in pill refining would result in perpetual failure. It just could not be done. This was what made Alchemy such a unique occupation.
If having Astral sense was one in a hundred thousand. then having Di-Astral sense was one in a million.
Eventually, Alchemy fanatics decided to blacklist Astral energy, naming it an impurity. And that the inability to harness it made Di-Astral sense 'pure'. They also dubbed it Spiritual sense, to take away the stigma of the word Astral.
While the fanatics were a tad bit extreme, an avid observer after comparing both Astral and Di-astral sense might agree with them for the following reason.
While Astral sense was difficult to refine and placing it under strain hardly provided improvement, Di-Astral sense was different, it could be made stronger as long as the bearer was gutsy. The improvement of Di-Astral sense (Spiritual sense) relied on the refining of higher ranked pills. With regular success came further improvement.
Also the pills were very useful in the advancement of cultivation among other things, making the occupation well sought out and very lucrative.
The first jar of pills Hal had gotten from the Estate were aimed at to advancement cosmic Armament realm and also further advancement in said realm.
The real purpose of the pills were just to clear bottlenecks and allow smooth advancement making it fairly faster, but Hal would never face bottlenecks and neither will anyone connected to him that made use of unranked cultivation techniques from Grimiore.
So that jar was practically useless to him.
The second jar though was a little more promising. They were Rank 3 restoration pills, also known as cosmic back ups. It allowed for quick restoration of cosmic energy, it could make the difference in a critical battle.
The third jar contained pills to speed up recovery from wounds, kind of like a first aid Patch up, this could be useful for the others, but were once again useless to him thanks to {Regeneration}
So, he sent them back into his inventory and refined the essence he had gotten from his session with the ladies at Pleasure inn. Making him much closer to the late stage of the Cosmic Pearl realm.
This was a testament to the ever widening gap between realms, that all this essence could not even get him to leap one stage ahead instantly. But at least his bloodline was much stronger than before.
That being said, he was no closer to making use of the Prime Armament of the Primeval Devil bloodline. All the armaments he could sense in his bloodline, including Executioner remained sub-armaments, which were just Armaments belonging to demonic bloodlines the Devil queen ruled. The prime Armament was hers and hers alone, but by being her son, Hal should have access to it but, so far he could not even sense it.
Tiberius and Myra were not helping either. They apparently had no idea how to help him and instead warned him to not seek it too early because he was far from strong enough to wield it.
Speaking of Bloodlines...
'Grimiore, don't think I forgot about what you said about Melinda before. Spill it'
'There really isn't that much to say. She has a suppressed bloodline and it's a unique bloodline" Grimiore said in a calm voice
'Can I..." Hal began but...
'Don't even try to lift the suppression, because you can't'
...Grimiore interrupted
'Why? Because the one who placed it is stronger than me? I'll just lift the suppression once I'm strong enough' Hal saw it as pretty straight forward but Grimiore did not...
'It's not just about strength, and it's not really about the suppression. It's about you and that bloodline.
'Hal, If you lift the suppression, you will die'
