Danger Zone Chapter 262

Aiden likes adventures. Loves them, in fact, and is usually the one dragging Drax out to random places he reads about on the Internet. But grocery shopping on a Tuesday evening after a long day of work is objectively not an adventure.
"Can we go now, please? I am hungry."
The Alpha looks at his Omega before sighing. This is going to be a tough day but what can he do, they need to go grocery shopping whether they both like it or not.
"Okay. Produce first."
Putting his hand on the cart and slowly pushing it as the Omega whines when Drax steps forward. The older Alpha whips back to see his mate with a frown, clearly not happy about something.
"What's wrong, baby?"
The Omega glares at him as he tries to remove the Alpha's giant hands against the cart.
"It's clearly empty. I can push it."
As much as the Alpha disagrees with this, he removes his arm from the cart and lets the omega push it towards the location of the produce. If he wants to survive this adventure, he will comply to Aiden's requests, needs and other shenanigans.
The Alpha returns to his favored position, arms wrapped around his mate to push the cart with him, humming softly by his ear. The Omega feels himself relaxing, leaning back into his chest as they walk.
He runs hot like all alphas do, and the heat of his body feels comforting. They wheel over to the other side of the produce section, and Aiden taps Drax's arm.
"Bananas. Let's get some."
Drax makes a sound to show he's thinking, then shakes his head.
"Nope. Not letting go."
Wrapping his arms around Aiden's waist and shuffling them both toward the bananas, leaving the cart stranded.
"You will, eventually."
"Is that a challenge?"
Drax has that wicked undertone to his voice that he gets when he's ready to do something ridiculously competitive, like that time he had a bet with Primo of who is the first one to lose when it comes to sex.
Eventually, his mate won over Primo since Nigel did something ridiculous during the competition, putting a hard punishment to the other Alpha.

"Nope. It's not. Now, let go."
Aiden knows that whining will not do the trick since the Alpha looks like he already decided of what to do and how will this competition will start as the Omega waddles his way out of these giant arms that Drax has.
"Argh, fine. Milk next."
They wheel through the grocery store toward the milk, stopping on the way to grab a few more things. The Alpha, of course, grows distracted in the instant food aisle, directing them toward some noodles. He drops a few boxes in the cart, one arm always around Aiden's waist.
"I said milk not junk food. Get those away from this healthy pregnant man."
The Alpha is about to whine when the Omega glares at him, waiting for him to continue what he is about to do or say, as the Alpha sighs in defeat and puts the food back to their aisle.
But before properly returning them back, the Alpha shoots him a look that reveals exactly what he thinks of Aiden's edamame. He reaches for the bag of crackers and slowly lowers it into the cart, eyes locked on his mate.
The Omega can only roll his eyes as he nods in defeat and watches the Alpha doing his victory dance.
"You know what, you're gonna die early than 50, if you don't stop eating those shits, leaving me with three kids to raise all by myself."
The Alpha chuckles as he drops the junk food to their cart and looks at his mate.
"Three? Baby, we are doing ten."
The Omega gawks at the sudden raise in numbers of children they will be having, making the Alpha laughs loudly.
"Ten?! Do I look like a breeding mouse to you?!"
He tries to wrestle his way out of Drax's arms, but the Alpha just laughs, tugging him in and kissing his cheek. Aiden huffs again, falling limp in his hold.
"Is that what this is about? You are scared of losing me?"
"Believe what you want to believe, dude."
Emphasizing the word "dude" as Drax twists him around, pressing him against the handle of the cart, and grins down at him.

Aiden feels himself melting under it, can never resist his mate's pretty smile for long. The way his eyes crinkle up, nose scrunching, makes the Omega's heart stutters even after nearly months of being together.
"Don't worry, sweet cheeks. I am not leaving you. No matter how moody you are."
"Shut up. You don't know that."
Aiden's voice comes out softer than he intends it to, his gaze slipping down to their feet, where their toes touch.
He doesn't know how they went from bantering to this sudden seriousness, but after the kind of day he'd had at the hospital, he feels raw and tender all over, like the slightest impact could cut him open.
"If I die before you, I will claw my way right out of hell."
Aiden laughs weakly, looking back up at him.
"You? Going to hell? Impossible. You are more like… one way ticket to heaven."
The Alpha snorts, looking straight at those muddy brown eyes that he loves so much.
"Since angels belong to heaven."
The Omega grins cheekily, sticking his tongue out, and the older Alpha rolls his eyes.
"Now look who's being sappy."
"You love it!"
The Omega is still grinning, and Drax swoops in to kiss him. His stomach lurches, breath catching when their lips meet, and Aiden clutches at his jacket on instinct. The light blond Alpha never fails to make his knees weak.
The Alpha pulls away, hovering over his mouth, their breaths mingling. His gaze is soft. Whispering those eight letter words to his mate, making Aiden blush. The Omega leans towards his Alpha again and attempts to make a kiss.
This time it's less sweet, their lips parting and tongues sliding together, Aiden's hips pressing against his mate's. He can feel Drax's warm hands slip up his shirt, tracing his skin lightly.
The Omega pulls away on his own before someone could catch them in action. The Alpha groans but he can't just fuck his pregnant Omega in public under other people's eyes.
Heck no.
What is behind these clothes that Aiden is wearing only belongs to him.
They eventually do make it to the milk, and Aiden snatches it up and places it in the cart before they can get sidetracked again. They are walking along the aisles when a question strikes Aiden's curiosity.
He looks towards his Alpha and asks him about his name.
"My name? You mean my full name?"
Aiden nods in return, expecting an answer in return as the Alpha grabs the next item on their list.
"It's Alucard Alexandre Edinburgh-Santoro."
Aiden gasps at the name that he heard and grabs the Alpha by the arm. Drax looks at Aiden's reaction and chuckles. He usually gets this type of reaction whenever he mentions his name.
"So, where did your nickname came from? Isn't your nickname supposed to be Al or Alu?"
The Alpha looks at his mate as he chuckles at the nickname suggestions before shaking his head.
"My female cousin was the one who gave me my current nickname since my first name spells "Dracula" backwards."
Aiden furrows his brow as he spells the name, letter by letter, until he comes up to the name "Dracula".
"Oh my God! She is a genius! What the hell?! You have such an awesome name!"
Drax can only laugh at his reaction before grabbing the laundry detergent, which happens to be the last item on their list, from its shelf and puts it underneath their cart.
The Alpha picks up his favorite laundry detergent, and they head to the checkout aisle. The girl who checks them out look like she's in high school, and she makes conversation with them the whole time.
Aiden finds himself smiling without pretense. They grab their grocery bags—Drax picks up far too many on his own, the show-off—and head out to the parking lot.
"I still can't believe how awesome your name is."
