No one has ever told the Alpha how stubborn his mate is. Drax never ask either, making it more obvious that he should have but that is too late now.

He is lying on his bed with a koala bear right beside him. So clingy and cute, yet something has been irking him since the moment they woke up.

"Babe, I need to pee."

He tries to be as firm as possible so the Omega will notice how serious he is. But Aiden only whines and squirms to his side even more, making the Alpha sighs in defeat.

"You don't want to see exploding golden shower anywhere in this bed. Now, let go."

Aiden groans again, long and petty until he finally detaches from the Alpha. Drax bolts out of the bed at his chance and sprints to the bathroom the fastest he ever has before. He swears he can run professionally at that speed.

"Come back soon, Alpha!"

Aiden shifts to his right side, then to his left, not really being able to find a comfortable position. He groans and wishes Drax will come out of the bathroom already so he can resume his previous position.

He feels really comfortable whenever his Alpha is right beside him and he smells really good.

"Come back, Alpha~!"

Finally, the light blond Alpha comes out of the bathroom and Aiden winds by how hot his morning look is. His hair is ruffled and crazy-looking and his chest is bare, the only thing covering him being his masculine boxers that the Omega bought for him on his birthday.

The Omega just stares at him and smiles, really happy all of a sudden that he gets to have Drax all to himself. He opens his arms as an indication for the Alpha to come back to bed, but he just stands there, staring at him worriedly.

"Are you okay, darling?"

This is not a rare occasion. But today, Aiden is extra clingy and cuddly. The Alpha can sense that something might be going on and he is just being a stubborn to even tell him.

"Of course, I am, Alpha. Why won't I be?"

Suspicious.

Drax can feel the suspicions in his tone. There is something going on and the Omega is hiding it from him, making him angrier as hours passes.

The Alpha hesitates, seeming like he wants to ask another question, but just accepts his Omega's answer and crawls into bed.

Drax adjusts them so that Aiden is laying on top of him, his arms wrap around Drax's neck and his legs around the Alpha's hips.

The Omega snuggles his nose into Drax's neck and purrs.

The light blond Alpha can feel and almost hear the vibration and smiles at the younger fondly, though, of course, the Omega can't see it.

They stay like that for almost an hour until the Alpha hears a notification from his phone. He reaches over to grab it from the nightstand next to their bed and props it on Aiden's back so he can scroll through comfortably.

The muddy brown haired Omega makes a little hum but goes back to purring.

"Hm? There is a casual reunion party back in my old university. Do you want to come with me as my plus one?"

The Omega stops from purring as he shifts his head to side and lifts to see the Alpha, waiting for his answer. He hums before giving him a short question.

"Tonight?"

Drax nods as he chuckles at him and puts his phone back down on the nightstand so he can place his nose in the Omega's hair.

"Sure, I will come."

The Alpha smiles and falls gently asleep to the sound of Aiden purring deep in his chest. This day is a weird day and he hopes that it won't get any weirder, considering the fact that his Omega is being extra clingy.

The Alpha startles at the sound of his phone alarm going off. He sets it before he falls back to sleep so he and his Omega can make it to the reunion party on time.

He knows he should wake Aiden up right away, but his Omega's face just shines so beautifully in the light shining through their bedroom window.

The latter usually wears some makeup when he goes out anywhere, so it's only on these special occasions that the Alpha gets to see the natural beauty that his baby possesses.

Aiden never really lets him talk about it because he gets embarrassed, but that doesn't stop Drax from thinking about it.

All the time.

Drax decides to get up and get ready first so the Omega can have a little extra sleep. He's been very fatigued lately and has stuck to doing the bare minimum for the past couple of days: eat, sleep, watch TV, the Alpha becomes a little worried about him and lets him get rest whenever he can.

He then decides to take a shower. He goes into their bathroom right next to the bedroom and undresses, turning the water on and making sure it is very warm.

Sleeping in one position all night with the Omega attach to his side leaves more than a couple cricks in his neck and back. When he settles into the water, he sighs, his strained muscles relaxing.

He closes his eyes and hums a tune peacefully until he hears the shower curtain shuffling. He opens his eyes to a sleepy Omega standing right outside of the shower, eyes still partially closed from his nap.

"I'm tired. Wash me."

Drax is taken aback from the sudden dominance from his voice. He turns to him and looks at him straight in the eyes before sighing. There is definitely going on and it is worrying him.

The Alpha opens his arms for the Omega to come in and Aiden steps through with his clothes still on. Drax helps him get them off and throws them to the side, making a mental note to clean them up later so the bathroom doesn't stink from the wet clothing.

"Looking at your condition now, I am considering not to attend the reunion party."

Aiden lifts his head and immediately glares at the Alpha, making him irk back and blinks away. This Aiden in front of him doesn't feel like his mate anymore. He feels like someone else.

"We. Will. Go."

Drax gulps and nods his head reluctantly and proceeds to wash his mate up, careful to be gentle. Aiden's head is tilted back, not seeming to be able to hold it up himself.

He lets out little sighs whenever Drax runs his hands over the mate mark that his Alpha left there many months ago, which makes the Alpha smile.

Finally, Drax is done and guides Aiden out of the shower. He dries his mate up and, after drying himself up, goes to find clothes for the both of them.

He picks some comfy clothing out of the Omega's right drawer hoping it will make Aiden feel a little bit better. Out of his own drawer, he picks out a black t-shirt and black jeans, the T-shirt loose while the jeans are a little on the tighter side.

When he came back to the bathroom, he sees his mate sitting at the toilet cover, looking a little flushed and dizzy.

"Baby? I got you some clothes."

He looks up to the Alpha and when he sees the clothes, he shakes his head. The Alpha looks at the clothes and frowns.

These are the clothes he usually wears and now, he doesn't want them? What is going on? The Alpha doesn't even know at this point.

"Those are too hot, Alpha. Can't I just wear yours, instead?"

That's when it clicks. The Alpha gulps before proceeding to ask his mate. He is certain at this point that he finally knows what is going on.

"Babe? Are you in heat?"

Aiden shakes his head as soon as he hears what the Alpha said. Drax looks deeply into Aiden's eyes to search for an answer, but, when he gets none, gives up with a shrug.

"Okay, I will believe you."

he takes off his sweatshirt and gives it to the Omega before getting a new shirt for himself, making sure not to choose those that will accentuates his muscles or the Omega will get into a fight.

"Let's go?"

Aiden nods as he stretches his arms towards the Alpha and pleads to be carried. Drax can only sighs as he crouches down and slowly carries the baby koala around his hips.

"Love you."

The Alpha smiles as they walk out of their apartment so they will be at the venue on time. The Omega continues to snuggle to his neck until the Alpha sighs and tries to pry his arm away from him so he can drive to the venue, but Aiden doesn't want to pry.

"Do you want to take a taxi to go there?"

The Omega suddenly looks up to the Alpha and slowly lets go of his arm. In any way possible, Aiden doesn't want to use any public transportation. He would rather not go instead of letting those bitches to stare at his Alpha.

"Drive, Alpha."

Drax has never seen Aiden this possessive before. He is not complaining since it looks extremely hot but he is bothered about what could happen once they are there at the venue.

"Buckle up, baby."

Aiden hums in response as he grabs the Alpha's other arm and puts it on his legs, asking for Drax to caresses it as he drives.

If they will die with this dangerous trick, Drax knows who to blame.
