After their three days vacation at the forest cabin, courtesy of Primo, Nigel comes back to work a day later with a huge smile on his face and a lot of stories for Alice. His usual routine takes place when he enters the facility and greets everyone on the lobby.

From patients to nurses and even to other medical staff that are wondering, why do Nigel has a good morning? But even with a good morning or happy short vacation, the fact that his proctologist runs up to him in this early morning is unusual.

"Nigel! You're back."

Nigel stops on his tracks and waits for his colleague to approach him. The proctologist exhales a deep breath before looking back at the Omega doctor with a smile on his face.

"How is your vacation with your Alpha? Are you guys already mated?"

The Omega is taken aback by the sudden question. He can provide an answer for the first one, but the second one is still on plan. He doesn't want to reveal any details for that in the mean time since he is still wants to let his body be ready for the worst case scenario.

"Judging by your reaction, I think you don't want to go into details about your private getaway. That is understandable. Don't worry. I just want to talk to you about something."

Nigel looks at him, more like judging him before accepting his offer to talk by his office. The Beta doctor excitedly drags the blond Omega to his office and slams the door shut.

"You won't believe what your nutritionist told me about your condition."

The proctologist sits down by his chair and pulls out a folder filled with Nigel's information in it. He puts it above his desk before getting his own files on Nigel.

"So, while you were away. Your nutritionist and I came up with a team of ideas about your condition. You do know that you will having a hard time getting pregnant especially on your age, right?"

Nigel nods at the doctor. He is curious as well as to what theses two doctors have in mind to help him to get pregnant and bear his future children in a very healthy way.

"Okay, great. Now, since you are too old to undergo normal delivery for your pups, we suggest for you to choose Caesarean method."

Nigel pauses when he heard the suggestion from both of his doctors. He knows that this is the only way to safely deliver his kids but the one question that stuck to his mind is that, can he even carry them?

"What about the… uhmmm… when I get pregnant? Can I even carry my pups or do I need to hire a surrogate mother for that?"

The proctologist looks at him with a funny looking expression before laughing out loud, making Nigel thinks whether he asks a funny question or something dumb for his ears.

"What kind of a question is that? Of course, you can! Remember my last check up to you? Did you even listen to all the words I said at that time?"

The blond omega looks at the doctor with a dumb expression, making the Beta shakes his head and flips the pages of the Omega's file until he ends up to their last check up and checks his notes before saying them again to Nigel.

"I guess you are too excited to even listen to me at that time, you dumb colleague. Okay, listen."

Nigel blushes at the statement and squirms on his seat, filling his mind with embarrassment. He never knew that he is too excited to not listen to his doctor during their check up.

"So, as I've said from before. You can carry your pups and give birth to them via Caesarean method. You are too healthy to not carry your pups. But of course, with the help of your nutritionist who will be always checking your health and progress, you might have a healthy pregnancy."

Nigel's heart warms up with what he heard. He is sure that Primo will be happy after knowing these information.

He gets excited all of a sudden while earlier, he thought that he will die from nervousness at what is about to happen when the proctologist calls to him out of nowhere.

"But of course, the risk is still there. Especially if you will be carrying triplets or twins. Some of those pregnancies will have a higher risk of miscarriage."

Nigel suddenly feels disheartened. He does not want to experience any miscarriage when his Alpha is expecting for him to do a good job carrying their children.

The proctologist sees this and is sad for Nigel but there is nothing he can do. He needs to reveal this devastating news to him for further precaution. He doesn't know the DNA genetics of his Alpha, making it more high risk that could lead to miscarriage.

"Hey, don't feel disheartened. I am pretty sure your Alpha's hereditary genes don't come with a DNA triplets or twins, right?"

Drax brings water to Primo after the Alpha came from the doctor to test his genes in case his mate will get pregnant after they mated.

"Well, what can you do? That is in your DNA. Mine is even worst, you know? Aiden was traumatized for like three days when he finds out about my results."

Primo looks at his cousin and laughs. He knows about the Santoro-Edinburgh DNA scandal that Grandmama wants to have, hence, taking Drax away from his family.

"It's just…"

Primo trails off before clicking his tongue in annoyance. Drax sighs as he sits down in front of his cousin as he watches him being all concern and pissed.

"This is my first time seeing you all concerned and pissed. This Omega had you good, huh."

Primo glares at his cousin which made Drax barks in a series of laughter and falls over to his side.

"Shut up. Unlike you, my Omega is too old to even conceive. The risk of miscarriage is higher than anyone else."

Drax stops laughing and composes himself. He fixes his way of sitting and clears his throat.

"Touché."

Primo sighs as he looks at his results again.

"Triplets… Fucking hell."

Drax barks a laughter again while Aiden grimaces at Primo's Omega's condition when he gets pregnant.

"Oh, your poor Omega."
