Danger Zone Chapter 228

"You didn't have to crack his skull like that, you know?"
Primo looked at his older cousin who was eating some candies to remove the taste of blood against his lips. The black-haired Alpha smiled at him and shook his head. The bloody cracked open skull right in front of them was being cleaned up by some of Drax's friends.
They came here before the other two to threaten the whole apartment building that if they heard someone screaming for help, they will close their ears and continue their works.
Which worked since this case was being handled by them from the police. Drax looked at his cousin with a smile on his face. The last time they did something like this was when Grandmama asked them to do it for her.
But now, it was Primo's own will that pushed him to kill the smaller Alpha. He looked at the dead man in front of the black-haired Alpha and shook his head. If Chris Well did the same thing to his Omega, Drax will probably kill him as well.
The thought sent shivers up to Drax's mind and tried to shake the thought and stood up from the edge of the car that belonged to the dead Alpha.
"You will do the same thing if it happens to Aiden."
True. Drax chuckled at his retort and patted his cousin's back before walking towards his friends. They need to clean up fast before anyone will see them that they forgot to threaten.
After their clean up, the two tall Alpha went straight to the police station and reported everything before going to the highway where Nigel's house located.
"So, this is the apartment?"
Primo nodded at his cousin as Drax used his observational skills and noticed that the apartment was that ransacked but something was not connecting. Something out of the ordinary that Drax suddenly looked at Primo with confusion.

"It wasn't the guy, was it?"
Primo looked at him as he walked towards the dirty couch and sat on the edge of it. He looked around the living room, leading to Nigel's bedroom and shook his head.
"It wasn't just the guy."
Putting emphasis to the word "just", making Drax more interested with this case. Normally, Primo will not go back to the scene of the crime but he knew that something didn't add up to the police report.
As if the police itself was hiding something from them.
"So there is an accomplice?"
Primo nodded at the precise conclusion from his cousin. The Alpha nodded at the thought as he roamed around the living room in search for clues.
They knew that they couldn't trust the police so they were coming up with their own investigation about this thing.
"We need one more person to do this, Prim. And I think you know who I am talking about."
The black-haired Alpha looked at his cousin before chuckling.
"I can't believe that we are going to disturb him just for this shit."
Drax chuckled as he looked at Primo with a playful grin and a mocking expression to the younger Alpha beside him.
"I mean, we need someone who can infiltrate the police station without the police knowing that he one of us. Also, we need someone that has a connection with a good lawyer. And lastly, I will not be the one who will contact him because this is not my problem."
Primo stared blankly at Drax's direction and chuckled as he realized that he was fucked up. Him and the other guy broke their connection when everything spiral into a mass destruction of trust and unity between cousins.
Other than that, Primo used that broken connection to grab Aiden from him and leave him unwanted but that was all in the past. He just need to talk to him now for this case that the person he was thinking did to his Omega.

"Fuck."
***
Primo goes back home after hours of forcing Drax to call that person but the older did not budge. He sighs as he enters his apartment only to find his Omega sitting on the couch with the pillow underneath his head.
"He must've been waiting for me."
He walks to his Omega and crouches down until he is on his eye level. He smiles as he uses his hand to swipe away the strands of hair from Nigel's forehead.
The Alpha hums as he swoops the Omega up and carries him to their bedroom. After a while, he goes to the kitchen to cook for Nigel since he knows that the Omega will be hungry when he wakes up.
When Nigel woke up, Primo is already in front of him, carrying a tray of food and a smile on his face. They ate dinner sitting on the their bed while the Alpha feeds his Omega.
The TV on in the background, but mostly ignored by the couple who is more interested in each other. Nigel giggles when he drips sweet and sour sauce on his arm and the Alpha licks it off, making him blush at the same time.
"Where have you been the whole day, Alpha? I miss you so much."
The Omega snuggles onto the Alpha's neck as he mixes their scents together and sighs contently. The Alpha chuckles and puts the plates down below the bed and hugs his Omega tightly, never wanting to let go to the one person that will love him truly.
So lying to him will not give the Alpha the satisfaction that he craves as well. He looks at the Omega before answering him about his day. But giving him more of an information will ruin the mood, hence, Primo picks the one that will only give the both of them a bit of satisfaction.
"I met my cousin at the police station today."
Nigel perks up and remembers which cousin is that. He tries to reshuffle his memory and picks the one that stood up the most and that is…
"Drax Santoro?"
Primo smiles and nods his head, completely moving towards the Omega and chuckles near his ears.
"Indeed, yes."
Nigel exclaims and asks if they already forgave each other. He even asked about Drax's Omega, Aiden, which was Primo's old mate and the Alpha tells him everything, except for the torturing slash cracking a smaller, potential burglary Alpha's skull.
Nigel enjoys listening to the Alpha's story until he eventually asleep in his arms. The Alpha moves the tray away from them before deciding to just wash them tomorrow in the morning.
He hits the shower quickly and hugs his mate as they both enter dreamland. A satisfactory smiles plastered on both of their faces as the young night passes by slowly.
