"What were you thinking, Ms. Theron? Care to share it with me because I am dying to know your reason for this "mistake"."

Nigel emphasizes the word mistake since he knows that Alicia will call it like that. But that was one instance and she already promises not to do it again. As that promise was broken by her as well, Nigel doesn't have much patience to even listen to her futile excuses and will want to know her reasons now.

"B-B-Boss, I—"

"You, what?"

She then becomes dumbfounded, doesn't know the right words to say. Her mind goes blank and her throat suddenly dried. She wets her lips as she thinks a way out of this mess.

"I-I didn't mean to leave-"

"Bullshit. Stop making excuses and give me a proper reason, Ms. Theron."

She tries to look at the Alpha beside her but she knows that Alfred can't help her right now. She is the one who started this mess, she needs to be the one to finish it.

But nosing in Nigel's business is the most tricky part because the Omega is known to lashed out to the people who dared to intervene with his love life. And that's what Alicia is doing earlier.

Intervening on his love life and trying to find or even stalk the person behind room 5449. She gulps as she looks at the fuming eyes of her boss and thinks of a reason to force him to think that it was one of her tiny mistakes, again.

She lost the eye contact when she sees Nigel's blank stare. She gulps, thinking that her life might be in danger. The Omega doctor slams the clipboard and some papers on the table, creating loud bang inside the office.

The Alpha's mouth forms an 'o' and widens his eyes as Nigel looks at him, signaling him to go out. The Alpha nods his head and pats on Alicia's shoulder, taking it as a good luck and hopes she doesn't get fired after this.

"Bo-boss—"

"Look straight to my eyes whenever you talk to me."

She looks down and bites her lower lip. She doesn't know what to do. She never knew that Nigel will be this mad to her. She admits that this is not the first mistake that she ever made for the past three years of her working under Nigel.

But the Beta never thought that Omega's like him will even have the will power to scold a Beta woman at gun point. Alicia is helpless and will probably get fired after this but she doesn't want to leave Nigel.

She treats Nigel like a little brother even though he is older than her. They are like a family and family never leave anyone behind or even forget them. With so much frustrations in her mind, she tells him one thing she should've never said.

"I was trying to get any information about the patient behind room 5449!"

Alfred, who is listening behind the closed doors, slightly chuckles when Alicia reveals her plan that he already found out after looking at her costume from earlier. He continues to listen at the conversation that is going on inside.

Nigel's ear suddenly rings when he hears the reason why Alicia is away, leaving the door unlocked and a bit ajar. He looks at her when he realizes who is the patient behind the closed doors of room 5449.

"You, what?"

Alicia looks at the Omega with trembling lips, her tears is about to drip down her cheeks when she realizes what she just said and covers her mouth with her hands. She shakes her head in an attempt to salvage what was left to this conversation.

"I heard you were looking for something. Wait, no. More like, someone. Care to tell me?"

Alicia stops from her thinking and looks at Nigel who is fuming in anger. She senses the anger slowly forming around Nigel and shakes her head again.

"Are you trying to seduce the Alpha in room 5449, Ms. Theron?"

"N-No, B-Boss! Y-Y-You are wrong! I wouldn't! I couldn't! I was just curious of who he is! Please forgive me!"

Nigel's anger did not stop from forming as Alicia tries to get away from the Omega who is ready to pounce at her in a given moment. The Beta woman draws away from the Omega and slowly moving towards the spacious entry way to his main office.

"Oh, really? Stalking my Alpha, how about that?"

Alicia's mind stops once again as it slowly malfunctions when she hears who is the person behind that room. That is his Alpha? The man behind that dreadful room is Nigel's Alpha?

"What? He is your—?"

Nigel looks at Alicia before nodding his head. He sits at the edge of his table and waits for Alicia to process what she just heard as Nigel calms his anger down.

Ever since he broke up with Alfred and remained as friends, he despises when people tries to correct what is going on in his relationship.

Not caring whether it is right or wrong, or it might hurt both parties. Nigel learns to value his relationship with his future Alpha after knowing that he still has a chance to meet him.

And now, here he is. Inside of that room on the third floor of the rehabilitation center. Adjacent to both of Alfred's office and the nursing station, is the place where his Alpha lives, eat and take a bath.

Nigel never cared if they will mate on that room, all he cared is for his Alpha to like him and mate him before he grows older. He also wants to have kids but his body would never liked it.

"Do you want to know his name, Alicia? The name of my mysterious Alpha?"

Alicia's ears flap open and immediately looks at her boss, who is grinning widely as if he is playing with her curiosity. Plucking her subconscious mind filled with curious questions and pointless answers, Alicia nods her head and waits for her boss to say his name.

But upon hearing his name, Alicia sweats vigorously and looks at her boss. She knows that name and she knows what that name can do. She had heard the series of events under that name and stalking him will be a deadly task.

Nigel smirks at Alicia's reaction and crosses his arms in front of him. Puffing his chest out, proud of the name of his Alpha and his soon-to-be mate.

"Try stalking my Alpha now, Ms. Theron."

Alicia's mind is screaming to her to move away or run away from this rehabilitation center. Find a new job at a nursing care unit downtown and never goes back here. The place is filled with dangerous Alphas who had gone feral and she knows that.

But she never want to deal with some Alphas that are as dangerous as one Primo Santoro. She looks at her boss and gulps at the thought of getting caught of stalking Primo.

"What? Cat got your tongue?"

Nope, Alicia doesn't want to die. Hence, shaking her head and takes a deep breath. The revelation is too much for her fragile heart and she hopes that Nigel will be happy to this Alpha.

"You know what, boss? I think I still have some papers to compile and fix. I will do that first. Ciao!"

Nigel watches her goes out of the office as he chuckles at her reaction. He shakes his head when he thinks of how evil he is, using his Alpha's name to scare of his secretary.

"I hope you are proud of me, Alpha."
