Before Alicia enters the office, Nigel is gasping for air and looking for a way out of the mess that he made. He can't believe that he is thinking of the Alpha in a very sultry way.

He looks at himself in front of the mirror and caresses his face with his long girly fingers before he grimaces.

"Look at you, disgusting creature. Your Alpha will never like you."

As treacherous as a villainess his voice is, he puffs his chest in front of the mirror and smirks.

"I am prettier this way."

Changing the side of his angle to see which one fits before moving away and frowns. He sighs heavily before flopping on the couch and thinks of his future with his Alpha. Smiling sweetly next to him while imagining his head on his Alpha's shoulder, reminiscing their fruitful past and planning their soon-to-be future.

"I bet he looks good without anything at all."

He blushes at the mere thoughts of his Alpha being naked. His lean body and muscular arms, perfect V-line leading to his treasure chest and the lavishing ocean blue eyes that he is carrying. Oh, what a sensation for Nigel to feel or touch.

"I want him! I want my Alpha so bad! Why does he have to be that brute and dangerous?!"

The Omega huffs as he crosses both of his arms in front of him and pouts. His imagination going smoothly in his mind while his heart is pounding loudly in his chest. This is the first time he felt this much desire for a guy.

He remembers that when he is still in university, he has a crush on this Alpha but he never desired him as much as this. If this is how fated pair feels like, he wonders how much patience his other Omega patients have to wait for their pairs.

Because Nigel can't help but curse at the fate surrounding his world and his Alpha's world for giving him such a heinous act. How can he sit still in his office if his Alpha is just an elevator away from him.

"This is so absurd! I want my Alpha!"

This time, Nigel sprawls to the ground and whines like a baby. Kicking the trash bin under the table until Alicia enters the office and sees him lying there like a lifeless humanoid doll.

"B-Boss! Are you okay?! What happened?!"

As loud as the sound of his pounding heart, he looks at the worried-looking nurse beside him and scoffs away. Nigel looks at her with glaring eyes and softly pushes her away. The Omega looks away from his secretary and inhales deeply before looking back at her with teary eyes.

"Do you think my Alpha will still like me if he finds out that I jerk on his abs last night?"

Alicia's mind suddenly stops and tries to understand what his boss is blabbering about. His Alpha? Since when did he got an Alpha?

She looks at Alfred who is snickering a laughter beside her and nudges him by the shoulder as the Alpha tries to stop himself from laughing.

"Help me out here, please."

But before the Alpha can even say something, Nigel pulls Alicia towards him and asks her once again.

"Do you think I will look good pregnant?"

Alicia gives him a what-the-actual-fuck-expression and Alfred finally laughs.

"Oh my god, wait until your Alpha sees this."

Nigel looks at the Alpha with glaring eyes, trying to stop him from laughing so hard because he is not joking at his question. If he looks bad at every angle, he is scared that his Alpha will leave him for someone better.

"I am serious! Why are you laughing at me?! Stop it, Alfred!"

The Alpha laughs louder while Alicia thinks that her boss had extremely gone mad. First the changes that he had are too drastic for her own good. Thinking that her boss just wants to try something new and healthy for his body, but upon seeing this side of him, she knows that he is doing this to please his Alpha.

"Boss? Can I ask you one question?"

The Omega stops from cursing at Alfred as the Alpha continues to laugh at his own will and wipes the tears away from his eyes. He holds his abdomen and inhales a deep breath before his laughter subsides.

"What is it?"

His voice continues to grow louder and child-like. Alicia feels the urge to shake the man and slaps him back and forth until he comes back to his senses and sees this childish behavior that he cultivates somewhere.

"Why are you doing this?"

"What do you mean?"

Alicia takes a deep breath before proceeding her statement with caution before shrugging and thinking that her boss might've already forgotten her mistake from earlier and she is finally free.

"The changes, the healthy lifestyle, the fitness regimen, the going back home prior to working hours and the only-taking-up-three-patients for the whole day. Why are you doing these things?"

She looks straight into Nigel's eyes as she takes another deep breath and wipes the sweat dripping down her forehead. For some reason, she starts to get nervous but she just throws away that idea of fear.

Nigel looks at her with a shocked expression and full faced her with a mockery on his face.

"Duh? Isn't it obvious? So I can look good when I meet my Alpha."

Alicia is right. What she thought of the reason for these changes is right. Nigel is indeed doing this for the Alpha that he has been hoping to see and be with. But according to her studies of the dynamics, once the Omega is in the rough age of thirty five or forty, it will be less likely to find their fated pair.

So, there is no way that Nigel will ever find him at all. Even if he wished it to fate, no one will come for him.

"Boss, you're too old to think about this pointless things. Plus, if that Alpha really exists, he will still like you or love you even if you look older than his father or his mother or even his grandmother.

Just be yourself and for sure he will like you. And also, stop acting like a child. You are forty years of age, for fuck's sake."

Nigel listens to Alicia's every words and nods his head. She is right. Nigel doesn't need to change his old ways just for the Alpha to like him when they meet. He stands up from the floor and dusts off every dust particle on his clothes and puffs his chest.

"You're right. Whatever I am thinking right now are futile. Pointless! Thank you, Alicia."

"You're welcome!"

The Beta secretary stands up from the floor and dusts off the dust particles from her clothes and sighs a deep relief that her boss had forgotten what happened earlier. If he didn't, she is already being roasted right now.

But fate doesn't want her to have her way, because as soon as she tries to leave Nigel's office, the Omega grabs her by the shoulder and clears his throat.

"Now that is done. Let's move to the matter of why the fuck you forgot to lock our office door? Do you know how much fear you instilled to me while I was slowly approaching the office?

Where were you, Ms. Theron? Are you flirting to that nurse on the second floor again? And why are you with Alfred? Are you guys dating now or something?"

Alicia's shoulder drops to the floor as she tremblingly faces her boss, who is being surrounded by dark auras. His eyes are glaring directly to her soul and his hand is gripping her shoulder tightly.

"What were you thinking, Ms. Theron? Care to share it with me because I am dying to know your reason for this "mistake"."

Nigel emphasizes the word mistake since he knows that Alicia will call it like that. But that was one instance and she already promises not to do it again. As that promise was broken by her as well, Nigel doesn't have much patience to even listen to her futile excuses and will want to know her reasons now.

"B-B-Boss, I—"
