Here he is again, staring blankly on the walls of his office while relishing his lunch before his mood goes sour later on. It has two days since he bumps into his Alpha and Nigel can't shakes off the feeling of… jealousy.

Where did he got it from? He got it from his clients, who comes back to his office to thank him removing their bonds to their old Alphas and meeting new ones that will love and protect them.

He sighs as he finishes his lunch and stands up from his desk. His secretary is typing away on her computer when she notices Nigel is about to go out of his office. She stops for a minute as she observes her boss before frowning at the sudden change in his behavior.

She has been wondering about this for quite some time now. Ever since his talk with the other Alpha next to their department, her boss became a bit… distant. Which is not his usual self.

She asks the other nurses about this occurrences but even them are clueless about these. In the end, she shrugs her shoulder and moves on with what she observes but the feeling of concern is still there.

She is about to go back to her task when the doctor suddenly looks at her from top to bottom. He frowns afterwards and goes out of his office. There he is again, making faces and expressions that resembles jealousy.

She doesn't even know why he is jealous or what could he be jealous of. She slowly leans back to her chair and sighs heavily. Something is really wrong to him but she doesn't want to address it to him.

She doesn't want to lose her job just because she kept on nosing other people's businesses. She still wants her head to be attached to her body and meet her mate in the future.

She shakes her head and goes back to her task, trying to finish her task before going back home before the doctor comes back. But something is still bothering her, well it is not just one thing. She has three things that she worries about at the same time, it's bothering her.

First, the scent of the room. At most, Nigel wants to have this sweet scent of vanilla or strawberry, kind of like his natural scent but sweeter. When he requested of trying a new scent, even the scent maker was shock about his bold choices.

Apparently, these scents that he asked for her to order, were strong scents that resembles an Alphas natural pheromones. The secretary almost dropped the order when she found out about it but Nigel will scold her if she did.

In the end, she bought the scents and go back to her task. Wearing a mask inside the room because the scents are too strong for her liking. She even tried to tell Nigel to tell them, but the Omega only glare at her as if she was about to his Alpha away.

"I don't understand him anymore, these past few days."

She told this to her other secretary friends, but even them, who sees all of Nigel's changes, are not saying anything.

Second, the jealousy. She had never seen Nigel so jealous before. She thought that the Omega doesn't even had it in him. The jealousy that she saw one time was when Nigel got a visit by a female Omega with her new Alpha.

She was smiling brightly and she looks healthier than the first the secretary saw her, filled with bruises and her body looks extremely malnourished. The female Omega thanks Nigel for his help in removing her former bond and now she is happy with her new one.

As usual, Nigel is happy for her but after their talk, his face turns to scowl then eventually goes sour. The changes in his expression is something she tried to erase from her memory.

It was the face of cursing the world for being unfair to the likes of him. She knows that Nigel is old and he is already in the brink of not making or getting a mate since he mostly focuses on his career before.

But she is still worried that Nigel will do something just to get a mate before he dies. Which is not far from happening, but still.

Third, and lastly, the things that he eats. She doesn't mean anything bad since eating healthy is good for the body and healthy for the brain. But what she observes from Nigel is different.

Nigel starts to eat healthy after his recent surgery with the Matautias and Santoros. He starts doing exercise and going to the gym to meet with his trainer, which she doesn't know how he met him.

He starts doing a lot of things to make him look better and be healthier as time passes by, which is good and she even gives him thumbs up from doing those things regularly but one thing she notices is whenever after he eats his lunch, he caresses his abdomen.

Something that normal Omegas do whenever they are trying to impress their Alphas for being healthy and ready to be mated. It even shocks her to the point of thinking that Nigel must've met his mate.

But that is also impossible since Nigel is too busy with his work. She frowns at these thoughts and stops herself from finishing her work. She looks at the door and contemplates whether she follows Nigel where he goes or she should just let her boss be.

The feeling of following Nigel floods her mind and she stands up from her chair, not caring whether she can finish her work before Nigel's deadline or what. She goes out of the room and asks the maintenance worker that she spots on cleaning the floors and asks for Nigel.

"I saw walking towards the other building, Madam."

The secretary nods at him and runs to the other building to see what she wants to see. The answers to everything that is bothering her will be answered to this building and she knows that.

Upon seeing Nigel walking with Alfred, she stops. Everyone from this facility knows that Alfred and Nigel used to date back in college, but not everyone is fond with the relationship so they broke up.

Now, they remain as friends and it is quite a sight seeing them together. She follows her boss even more until the two friends stop at the department where Alfred is working at. Both of them are standing in front of a metal door with a tiny window and the Omega peeks inside.

She sees Nigel suddenly gasp before looking at the Alpha beside him. Alfred only chuckles and shrugs his shoulder before Nigel softly slaps him by the face before shaking his head.

But instead of moving away from the door, he still peeks inside and the secretary how shy can Nigel be. His cheeks are red and his attitude is a bit different. He mostly acts like a proper Omega, staring at his beautiful Alpha.

This only made her theory that Nigel already met his life mate, true. And whoever is at the other side of that door must've been his Alpha. This made her even wants to know more about this "Alpha".

She just hopes that it is not a dangerous Alpha or she will be in trouble when he finds out that she is stalking him for Nigel.

Which is, in her case, could happen in the future. Since Primo is also known for hating stalkers before.
