Danger Zone Chapter 192

Francis is holding a bouquet of flowers while Marlene is fixing her gown. They are at a garden filled with different flower beds while Marlene is screaming at how tight the dress is.
"You chose that gown, you damn bitch! And now, you are complaining?! The fuck is wrong with you?!"
Marlene moves away from Mischka's loud scream as she worries for her ears to be bleeding from the yelling. She frowns as she writhes in another batch of painful pulls and push from the gown.
After that, Marlene cries in vain as Mischka tells the tailor the details of the gown and how fit it will be. The Beta woman glares at him but a spike of peppermint blocks his scent, making the Beta looks away and prays to the heavens that she will still be alive when the big day comes.
Francis watches them interacts while talking to Daime on the phone. Reporting him every places the two best friends go and what sort of food they are eating. While the Alpha is contemplating whether to invite his most trusted cousin or not.
"Just invite him already, boss. His decision of coming to the wedding will not be yours. Just invite him and stop expecting for him to go."
The Alpha sighs before hanging up to his Beta friend. He looks around his office at the tavern and sees a messy table filled with different paper bonds and listen names that were crosses out of frustrations.
The manager of the tavern knocks on his door while carrying a cup of black coffee that he ordered earlier while the staff are busy entertaining guests outside of the tavern. Daime looks up and smiles at the old manager.
Three days had passes since Daime talked to the manager about his past when the old man accidentally sees his old name from an old document and passport. He asked for the latter if they could talk about his past and Daime nodded at him.

Since that day, his treatment to Daime changes drastically. He became more open to the Alpha rather than hiding all of his frustrations to his employees. The Alpha even fired one of them after assaulting one of his co-worker who had his heat coming in while cooking.
The employee thanked him for the gesture and promised Daime that he will be serving the Alpha until the day he dies. Daime shook his head and told him to serve the restaurant and not the owner.
Since their memories will forever live inside of the restaurants the day their service ends and the restaurant is finally at its end. The employees were happy to hear that their boss was not one of those Santoros who slaved them for almost ten years and ended up with nothing.
No remorse for their suffering, their ruthless insults and their tireless commands that they almost forgot that the staff of the restaurants were still humans and not animals.
"Thank you, Mr. Miguel. How is the restaurant?"
The manager smiles at the Alpha as he grabs one of the chairs available in his office and relaxes for a while. Daime gave them the freedom to be friendly with him but warn them at the advantages that they might take for granted.
"Well, it is still running smoothly and the tourists love our new dishes that we offer everyday. The new employees that Mr. Ramirez had given us are all great and friendly."
Daime nods his head as he takes everything down on his small notebook so he can asks Mischka about his suggestion of what they should do more to have the restaurant friendlier to their customers.
"Oh, also. One of our customers asked if the restaurant caters food or the place can be for rent because apparently one of his clients is looking for a place where they could place his client's mating ceremony."

Daime thinks for a moment before getting his phone and dials Francis's number. What the manager suggested is a bit jarring for Daime to accomplish on his own. Plus, he still needs to talk to his employees about this new ideas for the restaurant.
They need to be ready for this or their first catering will be a big flop. Francis answers after three missed calls from the pissed off Alpha. The first word he hears from the other line when he is about to say hello is a muffled breaths from Marlene.
"Marlene? Where is Francis? I've been calling him three times. Where are you guys?"
The muffled breaths continue as Daime's Alpha is becoming restless as time passes by. The manager looks at the restless Alpha and immediately calls one of their drivers to drive the Alpha at his Omega's location.
He is about to jump out of his desk when he hears the Omega's voice, panting and huffing.
"Mischka?"
"Hey, Alpha."
The Omega tries to stabilized his breathing since he doesn't want his Alpha to go where he is or they will be in big trouble. Earlier, Francis is looking at some flowers while Marlene is walking towards a candy shop when she spots a woman, who is trying to open the closed door from the shop.
She tries to stop her and threatens her to call the cops when the woman jumps at her direction and scratches her with the woman's long nails. Marlene yelps, making Mischka looks at her direction and helps her.
The Omega pushes the woman away and drags Marlene so they can run before the woman catches them. They yell at Francis to call the police and the woman immediately got caught after a while.
The policed asks Marlene for questioning after what had happened and they are now in the hospital to remove any source of tetanus in the woman's dirty nails.
"We are at the hospital now and the nurse is treating Marlene of her injuries. They are little but the doctors fear that she might have got tetanus from the woman."
The Alpha exhales a sigh of relief before asking their location. He hops out of his office and exits the restaurant before getting inside the car. He asks the restaurant manager to take care of everything while he is away.
He trusts the old man and his employees so they will be okay. Mischka answers him with the name of the hospital and told the driver about it. The driver steps on the gas as fast as he can so they can reach the hospital in no time.
"I am okay, Alpha. You don't have to worry."
Daime chuckles after the Omega reassures him of his condition. The car soon reach its destination and Daime immediately hops out of the vehicle. He immediately goes to the receptionist as someone spots him in his normal clothing.
Disheveled hair and his normal face, making the other person thinks that he is dreaming or hallucinating. Daime walks passed by him with his familiar scent and immediately goes to Mischka's location.
The person looks back, following Daime with his gaze and says, "Daime?"
