Daime wakes up as his alarm goes off and groans when he feels a heavy object on his arms. He looks at it and his face is welcomed with a brass of unruly hair looking like a bird nest.

Daime chuckles when he sees Aiden's hair going all over the place. He smiles as he snuggles into Aiden's hair and sniffs off the sweet caramel scent that Aiden has.

An hour passes and Daime is still in bed with Aiden, he is scrolling his phone now, making reservations at his favorite places to take Aiden on a date later.

Today is Daime's birthday and he wants to celebrate it with Aiden. No one can stop him even if it is his self-doubting depression that attacked him last night.

"Oh, we can go here as well."

He clicks on the place and smiles when he sees the familiar flowerbed that surrounds the whole place. He remembers telling his brother that this place will be his special place and will take his first boyfriend here.

Aiden is Daime's first relationship. He waits for several years to find Aiden and brings him here. And he can't believe that he will do it on his birthday.

Another hour passes and Aiden finally wakes up, hearing Daime's constant humming from the shower as Aiden smiles at this childish antics.

"He is so cute."

Aiden chuckles on his own when a knock has sends him flinching away before telling whoever behind the door that he gives them permission to enter.

"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty."

Aiden releases a deep sigh when he sees Primo standing by the door. Aiden immediately stands up and jumps into Primo's arm as he wraps his legs on his waist.

"Good morning to you too, my Prince."

Primo chuckles and gives Aiden a deep kiss before putting him down on the bed and asks him to go with him to Grandmama's office.

"Was this about the thing that had happened last Saturday? Should I go and say sorry for taking the spotlight from your cousin to mine?"

Primo shakes his head and cups Aiden's chin before lifting it up to look straight into his eyes.

"Baby, you are not in trouble. She just wants to talk to you about something."

Aiden nods at Primo and trusts him about this talk. He still wants to see his family after this so Primo needs to be sure that it is just a talk.

With Primo's promise that it will just be a talk, Aiden follows him to Grandmama's office. Daime hears their conversation and leans back against the tiled walls of the bathroom and sighs.

"This is it. This will be that one last time."

Aiden is still shock from the talk with Grandmama. It is her plan all along. Tying his hands down with their family since Aiden is known to be a lucky charm to his family.

He shuts Daime's bedroom door softly as he scans the whole room, looking for Daime. He wants his comfort but he is nowhere to be seen.

Aiden sits down at the edge of the bed as his tears suddenly fall down from his chin without him knowing it about it.

Is this supposed to be the fate of the hidden gem of their family or Grandmama is just too selfish to share Aiden to the world?

Whichever the answer, Aiden's heart suddenly breaks into tiny pieces upon seeing Primo's reaction. He is so happy but that happiness does not reflect his eyes.

His eyes are his window to his soul and his soul is screaming out in pain, giving Aiden a chance to ask for a little more time before accepting the offer.

Grandmama lets him to do it in a condition that Grandmama is allows to tell her peers about this announcement.

Aiden can only nod because he can't think straight. Primo laughs alongside Grandmama but Aiden is not laughing.

In his mind, he thought that their life will be peaceful after the announcement of his father. Apparently, their relationship is in a major jeopardy after the Hidden Gem announcement.

Is this what the figure means? A surprise coming on his way?

Well, Aiden is indeed shock by the sudden announcement but there is something inside of him that speaks something about Daime that he doesn't know about.

Aiden is nervous. He is nervous that Daime might leave him after knowing about this. Aiden is contemplating with this scenario when he hears another knob twisting from the inside of the room.

His head snaps back to see where it is coming from when he sees Daime coming out of the red room with an innocent expression plastered on his face.

"Oh, you are back! How is the talk with Grandmama? I heard from Elise that she called for you. Is there something wrong?"

Aiden doesn't know what to answer to this. He only smiles at Daime but his smile didn't reach his ears, making Daime feels like there is something wrong with Aiden.

The man walks towards him and crouches down to see what Aiden is hiding from him. Cupping his chin and lifting it up, Daime can see the threatening tears that are about to drip down her porcelain-like complexion.

"Did she scolded on you? Should I go and talk to her?"

Daime is about to stand up when Aiden pulls him back to the floor and shakes his head. Aiden shakes his head and asks Daime not to talk to Grandmama since it is not something big that will make him go crazy in just less than a minute.

Daime nods his head and ruffles Aiden's hair as he wipes his tears away and shows him a cheery smile. Aiden smiles back at Daime until he notices what Daime is wearing.

"Are you going somewhere?"

Daime nods his head with excitement and stands up from the floor.

"Today is my birthday. So I decided to take you out on a date!"

Aiden's mind suddenly stops and reels back to what the figure had just said. A special day for Daime. Aiden's eyes widen as he realizes that he bought a gift for Primo but not for Daime.

And now Daime is in front of him, preparing the things needed for their date on his birthday. Aiden majorly fucked up this time. And he doesn't know what to do.

"Come on! Dress up already! Let's go on a date!"
